Yet I’m a gentile, most of my ancestors have been Gentiles. Some Gentiles in Boston are being hit by a winter storm. Is this because the Lord God wanted the Seahawks to be the righteous victors or is it as Isaiah says here that all both good and evil; the light and darkness come from Lord. There is no Satan to Isaiah. There are just men. Believers in Israel who the lord and those who do not. There are many Gentiles.
Any knowledgeable man can see due to the geography of Israel gods people were to be challenged by much larger kingdoms and empires. It’s a tough neighborhood when your where three continents come together. A very odd place to place God’s chosen people. Ethiopia would have been much better. So just how much foresight and how much wisdom does it take to see that Israel is to be dominated by more powerful nations and that is what happened. The Romans came and ruled, and scattered the Jewish nation to the winds. Today a secular Israel exists. Partially created by empire the current nation of Israel exists yet it’s not the nation envisioned by Ben Gurion one that would serve both Palestinian and Israeli and Christian citizens and visitors. No we get the same old politics demanded by geography. Will Israel survive succumb to the same basic forces that doomed the short lived Christian Kingdom known as the Holy Land. Is this good or bad?
