The push for Tim Walz was very clearly an astroturf campaign that was started within the Democrat “influencer ecosystem.”

    Their “policy” seems to be to limit “the time, place, and manner” of free speech. I haven’t found anything saying protesters took over any buildings; their offense was setting up tents on the “Green,” which presumably is a grassy space outdoors on the campus. The college’s statement also very clearly presumes that if peaceful protest is allowed, “hate and violence” will inevitably follow. So, they preempt this assumed lawbreaking by using military-style force to break up non-lawbreaking protest.

    Prospective students and their parents should consider very carefully whether this is a good college to attend. And they all owe a debt of gratitude to Doctor Dumbfuck for reminding them to look behind the glossy recruiting brochures.
