    They have no other options here but to lie. And you’ll never succeed in shaming any of them into reversing that because the cost of such a reversal is annihilation.

    In 2010 I don’t really think Shapiro and Brietbart actually meant to imply that George Soros was a Nazi or a member of the SS. It was hyperbole per se. And though he may have waited a decade and had to lose his job at Breitbart, Shapiro admits (at least in the era of WhitePower!) that he now regrets saying it.

    But it is very clear that all of these people take a profound pleasure in saying or writing whatever they can to inflict emotional pain on those with whom they disagree politically, which fits perfectly with calling a Holocaust survivor a “Kapo”.     Not very curious. It all comes down to the miserable failure of a fundamentally corrupt conventional liberal political establishment to offer an effective alternative to the continued political and economic oppression of working class Americans by a hyper-militarized corporate state.

    That state of affairs on the left opens the door for the gradual introduction and acceptance of quasi-populist, far-right fascistic staples such as white supremacy, misogyny, unfettered capitalism, and other forms of oppression. While it simultaneously creates the opportunity for the extreme right to seek alliances based on shared narrow interests with the dispossessed left where it can find them.     Shapiro plays an important role in both of those. His constant demands for “debate” and “open public dialog” of racism, misogyny, exploitation of workers, and the annihilation of Palestinian Arabs seeks to normalize these hateful and repugnant ideas in civil discourse. And his frequent and intellectually lazy reliance on stereotypes and tropes about women, minorities, university professors, the media, the poor, Arabs, LGBTQ, and immigrants is all about de-humanizing huge groups of people in order to offer them up as “enemies”.

    Shapiro does not support Israel. Shapiro supports neo-Zionist expansionism and genocide. He has said as much many times.
