    Sources are now coming forward and alleging that those two separate convictions are in fact related, and they both have to do with a confrontation between Scott and Bexar County Police in early 2005.

    One source, who asked CTN to refrain from using her name to protect her identity, told reporters that Scott fired a handgun at San Antonio police officers when they attempted to detain him in February 2005 after noticing that he was driving erratically. (Scott had a history of drunk driving, according to court records).

    Allegedly, as the officers approached Scott’s black Ford sedan, he fired two rounds from the driver’s seat and then sped away. Neither of the officers was hit, and they proceeded to give chase and detain Scott several blocks away.

    While Scott did leave the gun in his passenger’s seat when he attempted to run on-foot, he did, according to our source, assault one officer by punching him in the face.

    Greenberg bragged to a photography industry-related magazine that neither the candidate nor his handlers noticed how she was lighting him for these shots, the images that she later doctored and published on the Web. “I guess they’re not very sophisticated,” Greenberg was quoted as saying.

    Consider:

    • Much of what Goldy tweets/retweets is bullshit. Intentional falsehoods, distortions of fact, jump-the-gun items proven soon after to be wrong, whatever. Bullshit is less likely to be protected by Fair Use because it’s bullshit.

    • Much of what Goldy tweets/retweets is satirical, whether he intends it or not. By bolding, striking or otherwise modifying what he posts, I’m compounding or detracting from the original intent, further satirizing it. It’s transformative and non-commercial. Been a long time since I’ve been accused of being paid to hang out here.

    • I’m doing nothing to harm the value of a tweet. In most cases it’s either a tweet or retweet from a pathetic fuck that will be seen few people, most of whom are also pathetic fucks. By highlighting it I might cause it to be seen by a few more pathetic fucks who hang around here. BFD.
    From what I understand, little people looking to be noticed beg more popular people for retweets of their shit. I’m helping to give some of them greater exposure.

    This is silly. The Bible isn’t subject to fair use, but Goldy copies whole scripture passages (many characters longer than 140), word for word, pastes them, and adds a single word: “Discuss.”

    That one word would be comparable in length and depth to what he’s copied only if the Bible Study lesson for the day were John 11:35. I’m not even sure if Goldy knows there’s a New Testament.

    I was coming back know from Issaquah, and stopped to test out the Proterra Catalyst that King County Metro is trying out on routes 226 and 241 between Eastgate and the Bellevue Transit Center. Being a battery electric vehicle, no need for a fuel tank and a big diesel engine, got an extra window, and the bus was much quieter on the acceleration. Seems like it’s catching on, with Pierce and Everett Transit going to give them a try now. Even Link Transit in Wenatchee (BYD), and Twin Transit (Greenpower Bus).
