“Manufacturers are paying more for their packaging material,” Jason Miller, a professor of supply chain management at Michigan State University, told ABC News. “Prices are going up.”

The arrest of journalists Don Lemon and Georgia Fort this morning, without a warrant having been rejected by at least three different federal courts, means the government must empanel a grand jury and obtain an indictment within 30 days under 18 U.S.C. § 3161(b).
The merits alone would obviously argue against that. But a grand jury process is quite limited in the scope of merits available for consideration. And litigation of the constitutional issues at stake is outside of that scope. Issues under appeal before a judge are not ripened until an indictment has been issued. And so that can’t happen for at least 30 days also.
These two journalists will be processed and arraigned before magistrates this morning and then released. By doing this the regime will obtain booking photos for the purpose of distribution to the compliant propaganda media, as well as “raid and arrest” videos and “perp walk” videos. And that’s really the point here.
There really is no definable criminal justice purpose behind these arrests. They are intended primarily to distract from the ongoing failure of DHS operations. And at the same time in the hopes that the videos and images will reassure fascist supporters while discouraging honest independent media coverage of the failing DHS operations.

Georgia Fort, the lesser known of two journalists arrested this morning by the fascist regime for their independent reporting on a demonstration at a white nationalist church, has informed her readers and viewers that arresting officers told her they had already obtained a grand jury indictment some time in the previous 24 hours.
I’ll proceed with caution on that claim until it can be verified by a local federal court. Nobody has seen a filing yet. But if it exists it would have to be live on the docket by now.
