    To give you a sense of its flavor, the very first recitation of grievance is that the New York Times endorsed Kamala Harris, although to be fair, it does not appear this is propounded as a cause of action.

    Trump, of course, is a public figure. Under the Sullivan standard he not only has to prove falsity, but also malice, which is a legal term of art with a specific meaning. He attempts to show malice by alleging the defendants “feel malice towards [him] in the colloquial sense.”

  4. With the Spokane Transit Authority putting Double Deckers on the 6 and 66 starting today, thought of sharing this little video the STA did of the Enviro 500s passing the choke point test. I believe the Jefferson St Park and Ride Westbound had plenty of clearance, it was the Northern Pacific Viaduct that was an issue. Although more of a perception issue, as Tgere are a few spots with a 14’ 4”clearance , the bus is 13’6” to 14’.

    That just leaves us with a couple things: guns and anger. Robinson had lifelong gun practice, hunting, target shooting and what not. He was steeped in gun culture. Then there was anger. Anger at a rigid upbringing, being something of a disappointment to his parents for “settling”, for taking up a trade. Anger at intolerance of his community towards lgbtq+ individuals. Mormons are horribly intolerant of queer people and Tyler was queer and in a queer relationship.

    I’ve seen really horrible examples of this Mormon loathing and someone like Charlie Kirk though not Mormon was virulently disdainful towards same sex marriage and thoroughly transphobic. Our little kreepee troll babbles about “abnormals”. Kirk practiced full throated bigotry against lgbtq+ where ever it went.

    FAFO.. Easy to be glib and say that. There’s no excusing Robinson’s choice. At some point that deal became one sided; bosses still demanded loyalty, but gave less and less, and eventually none, in return. In short, workers had to become entrepreneurs, learned to sell their labor to the highest bidder, and frequent job changes became a way of life.
