Obama is leading McCain 175 electoral votes to 70.  And McCain’s home state of Arizona is “too close to call.”  Kick ass.

  2. The bigger question is by how much more than 300 EV’s will Obama win? Think I will go check over at Sound Politics to see if they are doing the ‘Turbo Whine’ song yet.

  7. They whipped out an interesting demographic on CNN a few minutes ago. The higher the education level of a particular voting group, the higher the percentage of them vote for the Democrat. That sheds some light on the Republican propensity to defund education.

  8. Well, if you ask me if NC falls to Obama, and it looks like it will, it is OVER. Fl won’t matter. But he is going to take that too.

    I have always been proud of my country. Always. At this moment that pride has never beat harder in my chest. I actually called my daughter and cried. My son, also an Army Ranger, called me and was choked up.

    We live in a wonderful country.

    New Mexico just fell to Obama.

  12. Good! Now that that’s done, why don’t we work on cutting down the electioneering to inaugural time. Inauguration was moved from March 4 to January 20 because of the time wasted between Roosevelt’s election in 1932 to his inaugural 4 months later. As for the aeons of campaigning,

    says it all.
