Eager to share our brilliant political commentary and blunt media criticism, but too genteel to link to horsesass.org? Well, good news, ladies: we also answer to HASeattle.com, because, you know, whatever. You're welcome!I no longer use Twitter or Facebook because Nazis. But until BlueSky is bought and enshittified, you can still follow me at @goldy.horsesass.org
Sorry I missed it. I was intrigued that none of the printed obits mentioned that he was one of the Seattle Seven, or that one of Nixon’s Justice Department lackeys described him as a “public enemy”.
He was a good man, a fallible human, and he did the best he could with what he had.
Actually, Walt was not one of the Seattle Seven. But you can read more about them here:

Of course, one person who was a member was Jeff Dowd, the inspiration for “The Dude” in The Big Lebowski.
Goldy, it was a pleasure chatting with you at the service. Glad you could attend, and I’ll try to make it to the next “Drinking Liberally,” to raise a glass in honor of Walt.
Walt has now become one of the Seattle 7? He would get a chuckle out of that.
Maybe he could be number 8. :-)
