    Mac, you may not realize it, but our health care system already runs on “socialist” principles. Namely, those who pay are also buying health care for the 47 million Americans who can’t/don’t pay. The millions of uninsured are NOT being denied health care. Their health care is written off — and the costs are passed on to you and other paying consumers. That’s one of the driving factors (certainly not the only one, but one) behind the double-digit inflation in health care costs.
