The Seattle chapter of Drinking Liberally meets tonight (and every Tuesday), 8PM at the Montlake Ale House, 2307 24th Avenue E.

I intend to stop by for an hour or so.

    I see that Shrub, just as I predicted, picked an unabashed anti-Roe v. Wade, anti-Bill of Rights, right wing extremist for the Supreme Court — undoubtedly hoping that a confirmation fight will draw attention away from Karl Rove’s treason and Bush’s blatant lying about firing leakers.

    Yes, everyone knows that the left always fights christian nominees, like that one… damn I am having a hard time remembering a single nominee that left fought against because they were a christian, perhaps RUFUS will enlighten us.

    We interrupt this scandal to ask a question that, due to it’s “explosive” nature was never asked when the story broke almost exactly a year ago… What were 500 tons of yellow cake uranium still doing at the nuclear research center of Al-Tuwaitha in Iraq when American tanks rolled into Bagdhad?

  18. Chuck, I liked James Doohan too. George Takei (Sulu) and James Doohan would lead in the Trek Conventions before his sickness became too difficult.

    Back to Don*****don, Schumer said, “…I am concerned about (insert name) deeply held personal convictions…” is his way of saying he is afraid of Christian views. Schumer has said this on a few jurists put forth by Bush. His latest attack was on William Pryor. You can look it up by a Google search.
