If you don’t know, I have a podcast, and on this week’s episode we interview President Joe Biden about his very “middle-out” economic legacy.
Honestly, it feels like a bit of a consolation prize given the outcome of November’s election, but either way, omigod what a weird journey it’s been from foul-mouthed local blogger to this. Just goes to show that anybody who says this nation is a meritocracy has no idea what they’re talking about. In real life, luck, path dependence, and compounding are the signal while merit amounts to mere noise.
So, eat it, trolls. And everybody else, please give it a listen.

Wow.. Sorry if a hard 37 percent of this country’s households can’t pull together $400 for an emergency then the macro stats just don’t seem to matter much.
Then you have the remaining 63 percent split between maga and everyone else. Add in the electoral college and the U.S. Senate.
Wealth inequality boils down to the U.S. economy being “the envy of the world” and that not meaning crap to too many U.S. citizens.
What? 252 million people CAN vote in this country and how many bothered to show up last November? Been that way forever.

Even in his debate, Biden although horse and tired looking, was present in the moment. That contradicts the narrative pushed by the opposition.
I think this interview confirms that in spite of his age, he has his faculties. Now, how he will do a couple years from now, no one knows.
