Wow! That sounds a lot like why my campaign failed. I guess I got what I deserved.

Wow! That sounds a lot like why Trumps campaign succeeded. As a country, I guess we got what we deserved. Enjoy the march to a second-rate country under Trump’s leadership.

@2 I think that’s more a product of stupidity than pride but I agree with you about where Trump’s supporters are dragging us.
The wording of today’s Seattle Times editorial about the GOP’s health care bill is nothing short of astounding for this Republican newspaper:
“WITH our democracy and the health of millions at stake, Americans are rightly focused on the bumbling Trump administration and vicious health-care policy emerging from Congress. … Keep marching and protesting. … [T]he Senate majority is emboldened to make closed-door deals on health-care policies that will leave millions of their constituents worse off, unable to obtain or afford medical care when they need it most. … Perhaps they believe that no matter how outrageously they act and how much harm they cause, most of us still won’t care enough to vote.”

@8 Liberal progressive, yes. Troll, no. This is a liberal blog. Therefore, by definition, a liberal cannot be a troll on HA. If you can’t figure out who the trolls are, I can’t help you. There’s a limit to what we rabbits can do to help save intellectually inferior species from their own stupidity.

What Health Care Costs
For the average American, adjusted for inflation, about 9 times what it cost in 1960, and double the average of what people pay in other developed nations.

The Senate “health care” bill (actually a tax cut for the rich at the expense of the poor) — which Drumpf says he’s okay with — lopped another 4 points off Drump’s already-shredded approval rating, according to AOL.

@9 Using the Socratic method one could come to the conclusions that RR is a troll. One would also have to determine if he is a liberal, a progressive. Whether being a liberal means one is progressive, or if one is a progressive one is a liberal.
Of course one can bring the exercise to a rabid stop if one concludes rabbits cannot type, there fore RR is not a rabbit and is a liar. Or at least a sophist. Which makes his statements at least suspect. WE can also conclude RR ia a man or woman who takes this rabbit thing a bit far at times.
While Socrates would enjoy RR’s shenanigans there would come a point where he would insist RR be a man or woman and be human to continue in the discussion. If the rest of you find the shenanigans enjoyable as I do from time to time I’m inclined to continue to enjoy them, but RR sometimes you gotta stand up as a man in a human world.
PS I did enjoy the recent National Geographic story on lying. After reading it I can conclude RR is being human and very human at that and is lying.

@15 Wow AOL is still ticking. Rather like Timex. Still the point of the article is? The man is still President and his current poll numbers are not all that meaningful. What they are when the Republican race for President is what matters, till then it’s just like people watching at the mall, a happy pastime.
