Hi colleagues, how is the whole thing, and what you want to say concerning this post,
in my view its in fact amazing in support of me.

Daniel Robinsonspews:
I don’t know what translation you’re using, Goldy, but I like the God Authorized™ King James Version best.
“If the scourge slays suddenly,
He laughs at the plight of the innocent.”
In my Jewish Bible, which is hard to navigate because the books are all mixed up (and who are they to know where the books are supposed to be?) it is translated as
“When suddenly a scourge brings death,
He mocks as the innocent fail.”
Which make it seem like The Most Powerful Being In The Universe is not a completely heartless bastard, only a partial heartless bastard.
Job sounds like a depressed hipster in verse 21 to start that speech.
“I am blameless, yet I do not know myself;
I despise my life.”
Give that man a PBR.

Get a job.

I saw Him at a BBQ the other day drinking a beer. The bastard laughed when I stubbed my toe. But really, these kinds of statements betray the foolishness of believing in gods. This Job person expects something from nothing. In doing so he reveals the absurdity of a religion that believes humans are different than any other living thing. Living things get maladies and die. There is no good or bad in nature. There is only survival of the fittest.
5
Betterspews:
The job story always seemed that god was needlessly cruel and petty.
6
Daniel Robinsonspews:
Hipsters shorten Job to:
“Live sucks, drink PBR”.

Roger Rabbitspews:
Meanwhile, 43% of Republicans still believe Obama is a Muslim.
Republicans are idiots. Maybe it’s them God is mocking and laughing at, in which case, She is completely justified, because there’s no such thing as an innocent Republican.

If God laughs when a good man dies, He must have been insanely laughing when Milton Friedman passed away.

I don’t laugh when Puffy goes on vacation, I pray.

As usual, not the right quote. From the JPS Tanakh: “When suddenly a scourge brings death, He mocks as the innocent fail.”
That’s Job bitching about God, not an account of what God actually does.

Kill joy.

Job is just part of the vile religion of Kim Davis.
Puddybud, sees the clueless crazed cretin as a "Trump"eter and a Graham Cracker and Powell follower. Who knew?spews:
Verse 24 explains why God allows libtard progressives their day…
And who else but God
blindfolds the judges,
then lets the wicked
take over the earth?
Nuff said!

Actually you have all missed the point. Job really is a work of fiction. It’s very well written. Yet it must be read in context. Job though is a whistle blower and is taking god and religion to task. This is still in the preliminary round. He is replying to his friend Bildad previous statements:
Chapter 8 Verse 20-22
Behold, God will not cast away a perfect man, neither will he help the evil doers.
Till he fill thy mouth with laughter, and they lips with rejoicing.
They that hate thee shall be clothed with shame, and the dwelling place of the wicked shall come to naught.
Job is calling his friends word to be not true. That they are also a slur upon Job who is a perfect man in the eyes of God and Job the dissident is calling God what he really is here. Many of you agree with Jobs view of God as he takes God to task.
I do wonder why I was unable to get this to come up yesterday when I was on horseass several times on Sunday well after the time this was posted at 6am. So something strange is happening with part of the internet keeping the web page current.

@1 So Job are you still enlightened that you no longer own slaves and Giving your daughters inheritance and thinking them as good as your sons. You very beautiful daughters. It say hey you died at 140. So what is your longevity secret?
