With no regard to politics because I often find his simplistic there’s a reason I love Charles Mudede.

Bob once or twice posted how American men or male tourists were being killed in Mexico and made some reference to me that I should be afraid, almost implying or implying that the men were gay and that the killings weee hate crimes.
Well Bob will have a sad finding out that these two weren’t gay.

Minute Physics, great topic. I lean towards a brown dwarf being a failed star.
Sort of like coal vs diamond, they have the same element (carbon), but the final structure depends on external influences.
Roger Rabbit spews:
The police shooting of Stephon Clark in Sacramento may not be as clearcut as initial news reports suggested. Police helicopter video shows him running through a backyard and moving to climb over a fence — he may, in fact, have been the suspect breaking windows in the neighborhood the police were searching for. Body cam video shows the police gave commands to “show hands” and “stop” several seconds before he was shot, and instead of complying, he began moving toward them. It was dark and the officers couldn’t clearly see whether he had a weapon. The cops arguably were still too trigger-happy, but I think we should reserve judgment on this incident pending results of the investigation and inquest.

@godwinha spews:
@ 27
The rates of rural hospital closures are the highest seen in the last few decades, according to the North Carolina Rural Health Research Program, a group which tracks rural hospital closures throughout the United States. There has been a total of 83 hospital closures from January 2010 to January 2018 in rural areas across the United States, the NC RHRP’s data showed.
Gee, can anyone recall what might have happened in, say, early 2010 that might have contributed to this?
Anybody? Bueller?
Indeed, Roger Dumbfuck Rabbit, you DO get what you vote for. Until the midterms, anyway.
Newt Hoenikker spews:
@28
Consider it as culling the rural herd. Vote for Republican idiots like Trump and Santorum and you will get what you vote for, less services and a worse environment. Bring back coal mining, pollute the rivers, the air. Black lung, toxic environment, no health care in rural communities due to corporate greed. It will lower the average life expectancy numbers, the red voters die off earlier, less red population. Census rolls around and what do you know, more representation in coastal and large cities (which are more likely to be blue).

Like Roger Dumbfuck Rabbit, the DC march yesterday was mostly hat, not cattle.
More than 200,000 people attended the March for Our Lives demonstration in Washington D.C. on Saturday, according to Digital Design & Imaging Service Inc (DDIS). The Virginia-based firm uses a proprietary method for calculating crowd size using aerial photos.
The peak crowd size was 202,796 people, with a margin of error of 15 percent, the firm said. The crowd reached its largest size at 1 p.m., according to the company’s estimates.
The organizers put the total number of attendees at closer to 800,000.

Absolutely agree we need our shipyards for national security. There are plenty of yards in Red states that can do the work. Why would Trump care about a Blue state? He clearly doesn’t think about long range impacts of his knee-jerk resposes and policies.
