    @4 I actually took the time to watch the Kasich clip in its entirety, and his response to the initial question seemed pretty reasonable and well-considered.

    Then in the last ten seconds he hit the stupid button. I suspect, after mentioning his 16-year-old daughters, he forgot he was addressing young adults. So, he kind of set himself up for a bum rap, but it casts some doubt on the man’s ability to make decisions under pressure.

I managed to listen for about 15 minutes (of which I can never get back), and Rush was going through this convoluted explanation of how millennials suck, are dumb, brainwashed, lazy, etc. Thankfully around the 15 minute mark a 30 minute block of commercials (boner pills, reverse mortgage, political “waste your money” groups, and a few local ads) kicked in.

    @24 The story illustrates perfectly the problem with gun control. We are tool using animals. In this case the tool worked as designed it worked perfectly. The bullet worked perfectly. Whether or not he’s a law abiding citizen he was playing with a gun. The question for society is how much mercy to show this fool for playing with a gun. Should society take him out and hang him from a tree? Should we allow him to return home and try to put the pieces together and live through years of grief from his hubris. Should we throw him in prison. Should we castrate him s he cannot have more children and intensify his pain? No amount of gun control could have prevented this tragedy but an adherence to gun safety would have. Perhaps attendance periodically at free gun safety classes. Isn’t there some organization that does that. The NRA does that sort of thing so why aren’t they doing more classes in the wake of this? Shouldn’t the NRA do the basic reason that is the stated reason they are a non profit entity.

    @25 I do think the Democratic super delegates should not be able to state any preference for any candidate until the convention. Worse is the medias counting these delegates in their official counts for the candidates. O one would think Bill would support Hillary if he expects to get laid, but he did vote for Obama in 08.

    These delegates should remain mute on the subject until the convention and then should vote in the best interest of the party which normally is to go with the person the voters have given a majority.

    OF course this is totally non democratic and it really looks bad when a Candidate wins a state and none of the states super delegates want to vote for that candidate. Could this be about money and them going with a candidate who has given them money over the years from fund raising? Or being in office? Like Wall Street these insiders expect no favors? Right….

    Now the Republicans in Colorado and Wyoming have shown they can be less than democratic, And they have a candidate with real supporters that can and most likely will run as a third party candidate if he does not get the nomination, and he will crush Cruz in nearly every state,

    Trump runs as an independent and he’s going to win a few states a it could be enough to throw the whole shebang into the House. Could be the ultimate Obama plan and Biden becomes President. It will be entertaining to watch the house struggle over two candidates they hate who are their own, and a Democratic candidate they loath who they like better than their own.
