Drinking Liberally — Seattle

It is election day in Washington state. So fill out that ballot, drop it off at a drop box and then join us for an evening of politics and conversation over a pint at the Seattle Chapter of Drinking Liberally.

We meet tonight and every Tuesday at the Roanoke Park Place Tavern, 2409 10th Ave E, Seattle. You’ll find us in the back room of the pub or, maybe, out on the back patio. We start at 8:00pm.

Chapters of Living Liberally are all over the place…if you can’t make it to the Seattle chapter, stop by another chapter near you.

    The White House has been exploring ideas to encourage more Americans to have children, including a “baby bonus” payment of $5,000, according to reports.

    They tell us there’s no money for Head Start, school lunches, food safety, or weather reports, then turn around and want to spend money on things like this.

    By the way, you can’t raise a child for $5,000. That doesn’t even pay for having the baby delivered, if you have no health insurance because they took it away from you.

    @4 Go ahead, post that Kilmar Abrego Garcia is an MS-13 gang member, and make sure you also post your real name and address, so his lawyer knows where to find you.

    Worried? Why? Truth is a defense to a defamation lawsuit. All you have to do is prove he’s an MS-13 gang member, and you’re off the hook for civil damages.

    During the twelve months of U.S. troop withdrawal from Afghanistan from 2020 to 2021, initiated by agreements executed and signed by Fat Hitler, thousands of Afghan citizens who had worked closely with U.S. forces and our allies became immediately vulnerable to imprisonment and execution at the hands of the Taliban warlords that Fat Hitler had agreed to put into power there.

    Upon taking office the Biden administration immediately set to work instructing the DOD to work closely with the State department identifying the affected Afghanis and arranging for them to gain TPS status as refugees in the U.S. Over 9,000 such individuals and their families obtained legal residency in the U.S. in recognition for the sacrifices they made and the risks they took to protect U.S. service members.

    Last week the Fat Hitler fascist regime began rounding them up and preparing to send them all back to Afghanistan be executed by the Taliban.

    DHS literally doxed Abrego Garcia’s wife and kids:

    The wife of a Maryland man who was deported to El Salvador by mistake said she and her family were forced to move to a safe house after the Department of Homeland Security exposed her address on its official X account.

    “I don’t feel safe when the government posts my address, the house where my family lives, for everyone to see, especially when this case has gone viral and people have all sorts of opinions,” Jennifer Vasquez Sura told The Washington Post.
