    @3 Obeying the Constitution? The last GOP president who didn’t think the Constitution is a joke and treat it like a scrap of paper was Eisenhower. When Republicans are in power, constitutional violations are a given.

    I never mentioned your beloved president….this 10th amendment applies to congress too. what gives congress the right to regulate light bulbs in my house….yeah, some incredible extension of the interstate commerce clause…but that’s pretty tenous to think a bulb made it china somehow warrants a federal law (i didn’t deny a state law…just the notion the federal government, by the 10 amend, is prohibited by using power not explicity granted. (don’t make me tap dance on how in the world it got usurped so badly since the amend was passed)

    Looking at the clip @0, I’m struck by the lack of substance in all the reporting included, and in the critique itself. The focus in each case is on Obama the personality and not at all on the actual policies.

    I have no idea what the S&P average increase really represents or what value the Rasmussen poll has if any. Other than the grating “who’s hot” style of it all, you could come away from this understanding less about the economy than before.

    Democrats say they’ve been completely focused on the danger of a populist backlash for months. One retiring Democrat — Rep. Marion Berry of Arkansas — told his local paper that Obama dismissed his concerns in a private meeting by saying the party would avoid a 1994-type debacle because of Obama’s personal popularity.

    “The president himself, when that was brought up in one group, said, ‘Well, the big difference here and in ’94 was you’ve got me,’” Berry told the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette. “We’re going to see how much difference that makes now.”

    Republican candidates again hold a nine-point lead over Democrats in the latest edition of the Generic Congressional Ballot. The new national telephone survey shows that 46% would vote for their district’s Republican congressional candidate while 37% would opt for his or her Democratic opponent. Voter support for GOP congressional candidates is up slightly from last week, while support for Democrats held steady.

    Republicans started the year ahead by nine points — their largest lead in several years — while support for Democrats fell to its lowest level in years. Republicans have held the lead on the ballot for several months now.
    Among voters not affiliated with either major party, the GOP leads this week by a near two-to-one margin, 46% to 24%.

    The GOP leads with unaffiliated voters nearly 2-1!! Obam-Mao and David “The Devil” Axelrod have done a fine job of insulting and alienating the unaffiliateds by mistakenly believing that Tea Partiers were Republicans.
    Obam-Mao/Pelosi/Reid have literally shoved this huge voter block to the GOP.
    Don’t any of you KLOWNS see that???

    It’s not so much what Republicans did…it’s the arrogance and elitism of Obam-Mao and his band of merry idiots. They are political morons fueled by arrogance.
    Deadly combination in politics.
