Can’t make it to Seattle? There are also meetings tonight of the Tri-Cities chapter and the Bellingham chapter of Drinking Liberally. And tomorrow the Burien chapter meets. Also next Monday, there are meetings of the Olympia chapter, the Yakima chapter, and the South Bellevue chapter.

With 232 chapters of Living Liberally, including twelve in Washington state and six more in Oregon, chances are excellent there’s one near you.

I heard one radio preacher arguing that fossils do not exist and marco polo did drawings of dinosaurs and they broke open a T-Rex bone and found live bone marrow so it couldn’t be millions of years old.     Next a conservative talker was relentless bashing Obama through the lens of reality shows.
    In saint reagan times, we had Life styles of the Rich and Famous and it was great that it glorified the 1%.
    In Clinton times, in his opinion, it was all fluff and distraction so Entertainment Tonight was the top reality show, which was Clinton’s fault.
    In Bush the 2nd time, It was all about risk and challenge and confrontation so it was reality shows like Survivor and even TV Gambling shows, reflecting the leadership of bush.
    So naturally, because Pawn shows, Coupon shows and the reality shows of the toothless alligator hunters in the south are popular, it’s all about barely surviving and this is of course, Obama’s fault and shows how Obama is a failure.
    Conservative talkers are relentless in their hatred of Obama.

    Wisconsin Update – It’s Recall Foes Signing ‘Adolf Hitler’

    “One group asking registered voters to sign false names to the petitions is one actually against the recall: Mines For Wisconsin, a Milwaukee-based group that opposes unions and supports a pending mining bill that relaxes environmental standards for mining in the state.

    “The group, which is open in saying it is trying to torpedo the recall, is asking people to sign ‘Adolf Hitler’ to the petitions. In fliers circulating the state, the group tells people ‘it is not illegal to sign ‘Adolf Hitler’ on a petition. Hitler was willing to destroy Germany in order to get his ideals in place. This is similar to what the recall people are doing in Wisconsin.’ …

    “The Government Accountability Board is asking the Milwaukee County District Attorney to investigate the group’s efforts. On the group’s voicemail, a person suggests that the proposed investigation would violate their free speech rights.”

    Now you know where the “Adolf Hitler,” “Mickey Mouse,” etc. signatures are coming from — Walker supporters, of course. (Did you ever imagine otherwise?) To these people, there’s no such thing as right or wrong; but unfortunately for them, what they’re doing is against the law, and if they get could they’re looking at possible felony convictions and jail time.

They were showing crowd scenes and Every now and then the cameras would cut to a group of “mourners” before they’d gotten their cue to start mourning, there be this crowd all standing around looking bored and then they’d all break into tears together and start wailing.

    What balanced the budget during the Clinton administration was the 1993 budget which passed a Democratically controlled congress without a single Republican vote.

    Take away the revenue/tax increases in that budget and you have exactly the result of the GWB budgets – deficits as far as the eye can see.
