Last week’s contest was won by mlc1us. It was Stockholm, Sweden. And Roger, they drive on the right in Sweden, as does the rest of mainland Europe.
Here’s this week’s, good luck!

Yeah, but they still run over rabbits crossing the street from the left because they can’t see them.
This is obviously a photo of a Crystal Ball showing what Emerald Downs will look like after the Howard Hansen Dam gives way.

You’ve redeemed yourself. :)
Can anyone make out those words on that one stand?
That’d be a big clue.
Kind of reminds me of rodeo but it doesn’t look safe enough for that.
Those tire tracks are strange. Just a bunch of driving in and circling back out.
Crab races in New Orleans?
Wild effin’ guess: Palouse Empire Fairgrounds, Colfax, WA.
Boeing assembly line, Charleston, SC?
@5
Not it, but definitely thinking along the right lines…
@6
Getting MUCH colder. :)
I’m trying to find one feature that ties that place to a geography. The silver coated roofs reflect heat – but too many places are hot during county fair season.
If an image hacker could sharpen those words – it’d fall right into place.
Arizona State Prison rodeo grounds built with lease money from production company for Stir Crazy????
@10
Nope, but I have a feeling that’s a Joe Arpaio reference?
You mean the vaulted tctmgr doesn’t help?
13 – Fool the only one who is vaulting that is your silly ass. What an idiot!
Is this a slaughter house or a feeding yard for cattle? It looks as if it consists of a set if very confined corals, the centre area seems t have had trucks other wheeled vehicles entering and leaving?
If this is true, the fact that it is not fully covered suggests a ranch in texas?
Pendleton Roundup grounds?
14 – I was thinking it might be an auction place for livestock but it doesn’t seem all that well suited for that.
@15
No, that’s not it.
This one’s a stumper. If no one has this by tomorrow afternoon, I’ll have to give a clue.
13 – Excuse me, I was directing that comment at the silly ass in 12!
It’s in Greeley, CO: Greeley Independence Stampede grounds.
wes.in.wa,
Most impressive find, sir!
@19
Good job!
took an hour or so of grinding through “rodeo” locations (on google earth — still works better than bing for the search, though the image resolution is generally worse).
sounds heroic.
I hope and assume the CIA has a better way of doing this.
@23
I don’t think the CIA does this…
