Now that I’m a flesh-eatin’, red votin’ member of the Washington State Republican Party, I suppose have some ethical obligation to make these goofballs look
good less idiotic. One way to do that is show that there are Republicans in other states who are even more incompetent and corrupt than our crop.
So, Washington state Republicans…this post’s for you!
If you think about it, what can be more incompetent and corrupt than, say, calling a Republican caucus for Sen. John McCain before any real data becomes available to support the claim? How about this: failing to get McCain qualified for a state’s primary election ballot. Seems difficult to believe such a thing could happen. But apparently it has in Indiana. From Blue Indiana:
Now, I’m originally from the 4th District, so curiosity led me to check out who had made it (and by how much) in my old stomping ground. To my surprise, I noticed that John McCain — the presumptive front-runner for the GOP nomination — was just a little short in a few districts, including my precious 4th, despite the fact that Attorney General Steve Carter had already turned in their petitions. I made a few phone calls, and one by one I found out that the McCain camp had got the job done across the state.
Except in the 4th District.
In the 4th District, they are short.
By my latest count, they turned in 496 signatures for the 4th, and the latest IED report for this morning shows them with only 491.
So this afternoon, I filed a challenge with the Secretary of State’s office to keep John McCain off of the ballot. You can check it out here.
By the “Indiana Standard” sending out the same postcard with the same picture to several different districts warning people of a sex offender in their neighborhood…just looks like a mean-spirited adolescent prank.
Had we sunk to the Indiana Standard, I believe those postcards would have gone to Idaho addresses….
So hold your head high, my fellow Washington state Republicans, we’re not the most incompetent!
Richard Pope spews:
Darryl — I believe that it is the PRIMARY election ballot that McCain is falling short of the required signatures for. Not the general election ballot.
Richard Pope spews:
That fellow should have waited until NEXT WEEK to file his challenge. Indiana law apparently allows the petitions to be turned in until February 22. Now I bet the Republicans will be trying real hard to get a few more signatures for McCain …
Roger Rabbit spews:
Hey Darryl — you’ve been a Republican for 2 whole days now … do you have any flesh-eating diseases yet?
Richard Pope spews:
Roger Rabbit @ 3
Flesh-eating diseases? As in necrotizing fascistitis?
Mike in Seattle spews:
WOW – they didn’t see the train…
speaking of incompetence — back to the combatants on our side for a moment. there appears to be a good deal of merit to the argument that hillary picked the wrong people to run her campaign. with so many people talking about the delegate count and how hard it will be for hillary to pull out a victory, and her camp talkin texas for quite a time now, it appears her campaign has let an important detail get away from them. the delegate allocation system there in texas is quite complex and the demographics appear to favor obama — which makes the possibility of winning the primary but being awarded less delegates a very real possibility for clinton! well apparently as of this past weekend the clinton campaign hadnt thought about that (“Grown men are crying as we speak. I had no idea it was so bizarre.”-Hillary)
check out this lovely snippet from a clinton campaign conference call this past sunday between ABC News Political Director David Chalian and Clinton communications staffers Howard Wolfson and Phil Singer, found over at ABC’s Political Punch:
David Chalian: On Texas and Ohio, you guys have obviously pointed to the importance of these states for quite a while, does a Texas victory only get considered a victory if you win both the primary there and the final delegate count due to the complex system there?
Howard Wolfson: Look, I think all of you will be looking at a lot of different data points to determine who wins the night. I think obviously, the delegate counts in this state is one of them, but I’m not going to presume to tell ABC News how to determine the outcome from a rhetorical standpoint. But I think we’re going to do very very well.
David Chalian: But, I’m asking would you consider it a victory if you don’t win the delegate allocation in Texas that night?
Howard Wolfson: Ummm, you know, I’d have to think about that. I don’t know the answer to that.
David Chalian: Okay, thank you.
Howard Wolfson: That is a, ah, less than unequivocal, but I don’t know, Phil, do you have a thought on that?
Phil Singer: Umm, no.
Howard Wolfson: You’ve stumped us. The last question has stumped us.
and how long have they been talking about texas? this one just hurts my brain.
In Support of McCain
How many 71 year old dems could be out there shagging a babe?

As for Darryl,
he is no more a real Republican than Darwin was!
This charade by a UW, Darwinist Wookie a typical dirty, leftie trick. like the time they claimed Ronald Reagan did not land at Normandy on D-day, or phtoshopped pictures of J Edgar in drag!
That last one really made me mad. The guy was an FBI agent! Of curse he wore disguises!
The only thing Darryl is proving by pretending to be a Republican is his jealousy of real men! If you want to
convince me that you are sincer, get a damn haircut!
Back at John McCain. I know he is not a perfect Republican, I was not going to support him until now. BUT, this tory has convnced me .. we need a Prick for Prezzy!
Bush appointed U.S. Bankruptcy Court Judge Robert Somma, 63, has resigned after pleading guilty to a D.U.I.
He was in his Mercedes and wearing a cocktail dress, fishnet stockings and high heels at the time of his arrest last week — which was occasioned by his allegedly rear-ending a pick-up truck in Manchester, N.H. last week. His wife was out of town at the time of the incident.
The Boston Herald
Tree Frog Farmer spews:
@9 The most delicious part of the police report was that Judge Somma was unable to find his license in his purse, but handed it to the officer to find.
@8: You already have an ignorant republican one now….
Hard to type with just one hand, #7??
Dirty minded libtard!
