Stay warm, everyone. Anyway:
- Why does every picture of Brian Heywood look like he’s about to volunteer for the genital inspection squad?
- Pretend police plows pedestrian.
- Actual police in Portland are also a problem.
- I can’t imagine it passing, but I do like the legislation saying that the state won’t hire ICE agents.
- Hot take: you are a monster if you detain a 10 year old.
- Your legislators miss you and want a call.

Our silly troll believes high cost of living isn’t a problem.
Oh but look, the troll’s beloved orange asswipe believes it is…
He dialed up Elizabeth Warren after she gave a speech on the future of the Democratic party. He invited Chuck Schumer to the White House to talk about a New York infrastructure project. And he invited Peter Welch to an Oval Office event on an initiative important to Vermont.
For a president who wants his party to retain control of Congress, itโs a striking โ even unexpected โ level of outreach to some of the most liberal members on the opposing side.
It comes as both parties compete for the mantle of affordability.

Orange pants shitter wants to shackle private equity and all the smaller players buying houses and charging exorbitant rent. Wants to impose “price controls” on credit cards. Whadafuckin’ commie! heh..
The GOP have proven that they are incompatible with a free and democratic society.
The Media is pretty stupid. I don’t think Dumpy calling Greenland Iceland in error. I think he purposely said it to instill fear in Iceland.
This guy is a maniac. Hopefully one day he will be no more, and the family name is forever stained.
@2 that was evident to me about a decade ago.
They like props, such as the American Flag, the Constitution, the Bible, etc. And they love labels – they invented the Brother P-Touch Label Maker.
They are brainwashers. The uneducated can easily be brainwashed.
@1 that’s merely a plan to avert having to not hold elections. He doesn’t intend to have any elections, or he will rig them.
The Peace Board thingy – he is forever the Board Chair and only he can determine its successor upon his death. That should speak volumes. Even if he does go away, he will forever have his dictatorship pussy grabbing hands on the world.
Funny how they never think, “maybe this case sucks?” US Attorney for MN on why she couldn’t get an indictment on a journalist for entering a church before the service, sitting in the pew and rolling a camera when others who had been there the whole service (“all are welcome here”) Egan to speak:
It’s always, “That’s a corrupt advocate commie judge”
Hot take: you are a monster if you detain a 10 year old.
You’re an even bigger monster when you detain a 2-year-old.

The Nazis shipped infants and toddlers to detention camps, too. And given the rising death toll in ICE facilities, it soon may be fair to refer to those facilities as death camps.
If (((Goldy))) is tired of taking it in the ass from Hanauer, the NYT has a job listing that might interest him.
The uncircumcised need not apply.

Itโs always, โThatโs a corrupt advocate commie judgeโ
Well, in Minnesota these days, pretty much.
You saw the knock on Walz last year, right?
Still more preoccupation with other dude’s junk.
My god. What a freak.
Vance is inviting Minnesota and Minneapolis officials to participate in ICE’s constitutional violations, presumably so they will go to jail too, and the state and city can help pay the ยง1983 settlements. However, I don’t think the locals will take the bait.

Three out of three panel judges agreed that the rationale offered in court for termination of the agreements was not credible and concluded that the counsel representing the government was probably lying.
It’s pathological. Republicans just lie. Almost always. About almost anything.
ICE has been routinely violating the 14th Amendment since last summer, so they’ve likely racked up quite a lot of legal liability by now.
I think intentionally violating basic constitutional rights should overcome qualified immunity, though there’s no telling how far this Supreme Court will go in facilitating fascism.
Not help.
Minnesota is a joint and several liability state (modified). And ยง1983 does not create any cause of action against the federal government. Nor is the federal government lawfully permitted to indemnify any state or municipal employee, even when such an employee is acting under the direction of a federal agency or officer (Brownback v. King). So under any such lawsuit, unless a defendant is found to be at least 50% at fault (Minnesota statute), the state, and state taxpayers will pay 100% of the damages in all cases.
They are not “sanctuary” laws. They are risk management and state taxpayer protection laws.
@2,4 The GOP has made a calculated decision to exploit the half of voters who are below-average intelligence. Doctor Dumbfuck, though he doesn’t realize it, is one of their useful idiots.
@6 Bypassing a judge who found no probable cause is a good way to get her ass disbarred. If the Florida bar won’t do it, she can still be booted from federal courts.
@8 Neither does anyone who doesn’t want to risk jail.
Not all federal judges are in the tank. This week a federal judge ruled the Fascist Bureau of Investigations can’t look at the contents of devices seized from a Washington Post reporter’s home.
@14 You’re right, and that raises an interesting question. If a detained and abused toddler who turns out to be a U.S. citizen sues the state under ยง1983 and pursues an FTCA and/or Bivens claim against DHS, how do you apportion damages?
Of course, this is mostly theoretical, because I can’t imagine any but a couple of third world red states being stupid enough to participate in home invasions, secret arrests, and kidnappings of citizen infants and toddlers.
This Supreme Court would decline to hear an appeal on a circuit court ruling denying QI. Because to do so at that level would create a precedent applying across all circuits uniformly.
As it currently stands, the “clearly established” standard exists independently in each of the 13 circuits. Once any circuit holds that a statutorily or constitutionally protected right was abridged, as particularized by the unique circumstances in each case (prong 1 of the Saucier test), but also holds that any reasonable official would not have known that such a right was “clearly established” (prong 2), then QI is granted. However, once QI is granted that right as particularized by the unique circumstances of the case, becomes thereafter “clearly established”, but only in that circuit.
That’s why the Supremes deny cert for QI appeals, either way. In most cases it would deprive law enforcement of greater immunity than if they remain silent.
19,
FTCA claims are limited to the classes of claims authorized in the statute and further limited to specific monetary damages arising from property loss or damage, or physical injury resulting in costs for medical treatment. They do not extend to civil or constitutional rights. And the administrative claim must be deemed exhausted before a civil suit may be filed in federal court.
Bivens, in these cases, would be limited to 4th Amendment claims only. And QI applies to Bivens claims. Moreover, a Bivens claim may not be brought unless and until all lower court and administrative claims are exhausted (Egbert v. Boule). One common defense against Bivens claims is to extend administrative adjudication indifinitely, driving plaintif expense beyond the reach or capability of most claimants.
More federal judge fun.

This is recommended for dumbfuck. It might get hired as see BS’s misogyny correspondent. Just call it kreepee two cuts. Ouch!
Why the US Special Envoy for the Middle East and Jared Kushner who can’t legally represent the country and has grand plans to ‘resettle’ Palestinians anywhere but their home are having a private meeting with Vladimir Putin is a question you might ask if you were a journalist.
@ 11
However, I donโt think the locals will take the bait.
The MN locals propped up Walz long enough to be picked by Boxcheck Momala. Although, arguably, not long enough to survive his second term.
The MN locals deserve derision, nothing more.
@21 The problem, of course, is that where there is no remedy there is no right, because rights cannot exist without enforceable remedies.
@27 The MN locals deserve derision, nothing more.
What do you deserve? Derision for sure. My guess is the horse is laughing at you behind your back.
March 28, in time for Baseball Season, Judkins Park and Mercer Island stations open.
The Leg should bar ex-ICE agents from police work in our state. It isn’t arbitrary. These folks have been trained to use racial profiling, excessive force, and to violate rights. No amount of retraining can unlearn these habits. Their presence would undermine the integrity of our state and local police agencies, and influence other officers to join them in unconstitutional policing. Such a ban is lawful; being a LEO is a privilege, not a right, and the law already bans felons and other undesirables. Passing this legislation merely adds another class of undesirables to the list of persons banned from LE work.
The problem I see is how do you maintain a democracy when you have a large class of unintelligent and uneducated ignorati. I haven’t quite figured that out yet.
Kristi Noem posted,
(at 2:45 of this video). Minneapolis averages less than 100 homicides a year, and ICE has arrested nowhere near 10,000 people in Minneapolis (Noem says 3,000 in the same post).
28,
Precisely.
The limitations on Bivens claims are all judge made. We keep appointing judges far more interested in protecting the elite status quo than in protecting the rights of individuals other than gun owners.
32,
Perhaps paying sport-murdering illiterate police officers on average three times more than public school teachers has something to do with it.
# 35,
We must have law and order imposed violently and constantly upon a population of ignorant, unwashed, dirty-dirty others. We must surrender more of our freedoms in order to be safe.
Lots more heavily armed aggressive police is a price of freedom.
The FBI agent who attempted to investigate Jonathan Ross in the murder of Renee Good has been fired by Kash Patel.
23,
Not only the violent arrest of multi-denominational, multiple faith leaders live streamed to the world, but more than 50,000 demonstrators turning out on the streets of Minneapolis in subzero conditions while nobody showed up for work except the masked, jack-booted slave catchers.
Two Minneapolis trained observers were unlawfully detained by two ICE Fat Asses and being transported to the Minneapolis ICE detention facility to be tortured when the ICE Fat Ass driving began having a medical emergency and became incapacitated.
While waiting for EMS to respond the two observers asked to be uncuffed so that they could render life saving first aid assistance. The other Fat Ass did so, albeit reluctantly. They marked the time, stabilized the driver, kept him alive until EMS arrived, communicated his vitals to the EMS and to the ER physicians, and helped guide and reassure the stricken Fat Ass as well as his partner.
They were taken back into custody at the ER and delivered to the detention facility to be unlawfully tortured.
