It’s also, ironically, my birthday. So celebrate by watching Robert Reich explain why our tax system sucks (for everybody but the One Percent).

  1. Yawn. I filed my extension last week. I’m not punctual about anything else, so why would anyone expect me to file my tax return on time? I’ll do it when I feel like it. Which isn’t today.

  2. My parent’s 41st anniversary. Also the anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic.

    Totally coincidental, I’m sure.

  3. I am proud to say I have made my annual payment into the police / firefighters / troops / paved roads / public transit / public library / public schools / public lands that republican cattle ranchers don’t want to pay for using fund. Doing my patriotic part for the common good.
    Taxes are the price of living in a civilized society.
