“The David Goldstein Show”, tonight on 710-KIRO

by Goldy — Sunday, 6/25/06, 4:50 pm

It’s 90 degrees in Seattle today, but it’ll be even hotter tonight on “The David Goldstein Show”, Newsradio 710-KIRO, from 7PM to 10PM. (Actually, it’s pretty chilly in the studio… that “hot” thing was just a stupid figure of speech.)

7PM: Can senate challenger Mike McGavick really run as a “moderate” and “independent” when he’s filling his campaign coffers from mining, oil, insurance and the rest of the GOP’s usual suspects? We get a totally unbiased, objective, nonpartisan answer from WA State Democratic Party chair Dwight Pelz.

8PM: What will it take for Democrats to win in Eastern Washington? We’ll get the answer from rancher, microbiologist, and Democratic candidate for congress (WA-05), Peter Goldmark.

9PM: If I spoke out in favor of poisoning Supreme Court justices and killing congressman, or attacked 9/11 widows as “witches” and “harpies”… I’d be pretty damned marginalized. Whereas when Ann Coulter does it, she simply sells more books. Local author and blogger (Orcinus) David Neiwert has been tracking the steady drip of violent, right-wing extremist rhetoric into the mainstream, and he joins me for the Blogger Hour to try to answer the question: Why won’t Republicans disavow Ann Coulter?

Tune in tonight and give me a call: 1-877-710-KIRO (5476).

I think Ann is trying to address the progressive lefts’ tendency to foreclose all arguement by proximity to death. The widows’ husbands perished in 9/11 so don’t even try to counter with their views that Bush is responsible for it…

Good luck to you and Neiwert coating yourselves as po’ little victims of right-wing meany talk – you of the Kos “screw them” of American contract workers butchered in Falujah, of darling Churchill’s little Eichmanns, of those beloved Democratic reps who have trotted out the Nazi imagery to describe the president, of the leadership in the NAACP, ditto the stream of calumny coming from Dixiewood entertainment Bush haters…

    Ah, yes, Sing to me of the super-sane left – such a trial to share the planet with those trash-talking righties;

    Try tackling a real issue: why are the left’s enemies such softballs? Radio wonks, civil servants and elected officials in free democracies;

Obvisouly, you’ve never served in the US armed forces. When private contractors go flat-hatting all over Iraq, get shot down and put the Army in the position on saving their asses, that’s what Kos was talking about. When a private in the US Army (paid about 15 grand) has to risk his life to save the ass of some paid mercenary (paid 120 grand), this is bullshit. I support the US Army. Chickenhawks like you support Blackwater Security.

You guys kick in the doors of peoples’ homes and murder their women, children, and babies by firing military weapons into their heads at point-blank range.

    GOP CAMPAIGN STRATEGY REVEALED

Disenfranchise people of color. Interesting that they, themselves, believe they can “win” elections only by keeping American citizens from voting in their own country.

“Don’t kid yourself: the Republican party’s decision yesterday to ‘delay’ the renewal of the Voting Rights Act has not a darn thing to do with objections of the Republican’s white sheets caucus. Complaints by a couple of good ol’ boys to legislation have never stopped the GOP leadership from rolling over dissenters.

“This is a strategic stall that is meant to decriminalise the Republican party’s new game of challenging voters of colour by the hundreds of thousands.

“In the 2004 presidential race, the GOP ran a massive, multi-state, multimillion-dollar operation to challenge the legitimacy of black, Hispanic and Native American voters. The methods used breached the Voting Rights Act, and while the Bush administration’s civil rights division grinned and looked the other way, civil rights lawyers began circling, preparing to sue to stop the violations of the act before the 2008 race.

“So Republicans have promised to no longer break the law – not by going legit but by eliminating the law.

“The act was passed in 1965 after the Ku Klux Klan and other upright citizens found they could use procedural tricks – ‘literacy tests’, poll taxes and more – to block citizens of colour from casting ballots.

“Here is what happened in 2004, and what’s in store for 2008.

“In the 2004 election, more than 3 million voters were challenged at the polls. No one had seen anything like it since the era of Jim Crow and burning crosses. In 2004, voters were told their registrations had been purged or that their addresses were ‘suspect’.

“Denied the right to the regular voting booths, these challenged voters were given ‘provisional’ ballots. More than 1m of these provisional ballots (1,090,729 of them) were tossed in the electoral dumpster uncounted.

“A funny thing about those ballots: about 88% were cast by minority voters.

“This isn’t a number dropped on me from a black helicopter: they come from the raw data of the US election assistance commission in Washington DC.

“At the heart of the GOP’s mass challenge of voters was what the party’s top brass called ‘caging lists’ – secret files of hundreds of thousands of voters, almost every one from a black-majority voting precinct.

“When our investigations team, working for BBC TV, got our hands on these confidential files in October 2004, the Republicans told us the voters listed were their potential ‘donors’. Really? The sheets included pages of men from homeless shelters in Florida.

“Donor lists, my ass. Every expert told us, these were ‘challenge lists’ meant to stop these black voters from casting ballots.

“When these ‘caged’ voters arrived at the polls in November 2004, they found their registrations missing, their right to vote blocked or their absentee ballots rejected because their addresses were supposedly ‘fraudulent’.

“Why didn’t the GOP honchos fess up to challenging these allegedly illegal voters? Because targeting voters of colour is against the law. The law in question is the Voting Rights Act of 1965.

“The act says you can’t go after groups of voters if you choose your targets based on race. Given that almost all the voters on the GOP hit list are black, the illegal racial profiling is beyond even Karl Rove’s ability to come up with an alibi.

“The Republicans target black folk not because they don’t like the colour of their skin; they don’t like the colour of their vote: Democrat. For that reason, the GOP included on its hit list Jewish retirement homes in Florida. Apparently, the GOP was also gunning for the Elderly of Zion.

“These so-called ‘fraudulent’ voters, in fact, were not fraudulent at all. Page after page, as we have previously reported, are black soldiers sent overseas. The Bush campaign used their absence from their US homes to accuse them of voting from false addresses.

“Now that the GOP has been caught breaking the voting rights law, it has found a way to keep using its expensively obtained ‘caging’ lists: let the law expire next year. If the Voting Rights Act dies in 2007, the 2008 race will be open season on dark-skinned voters. Only the renewal of the Voting Rights Act can prevent the planned racial wrecking of democracy.

“Before the 2000 presidential ballot, then Jeb Bush purged thousands of Black citizens’ registrations on the grounds that they were ‘felons’ not entitled to vote. Our review of the files determined that the crime of most people on the list was nothing more than VWB — Voting While Black.

“That ‘felon scrub’, as the state called it, had to be ‘pre-cleared’ under the Voting Rights Act. That is, the US justice department must approve “scrubs” and other changes in procedures.

“The Florida felon scrub slipped through this ‘pre-clearance’ provision because Katherine Harris’s assistant assured the government the scrub was just a clerical matter. Civil rights lawyers are now on the alert for such mendacity.

“The burning cross caucus of the Republican Party is bitching that ‘pre-clearance’ of voting changes applies only to southern states. I have to agree that singling out the old confederacy is a bit unfair. But the solution is not to smother the voting rights law but to spread its safeguards to all 50 of these United States.

“Republicans argue that the racial voting games and the threats of the white-hooded Klansmen that kept African-Americans from the ballot box before the 1965 passage of the Voting Rights Act no longer threaten black voters.

“That’s true. When I look over the ‘”caging lists’ and the ‘scrub sheets’, it’s clear to me that the GOP has traded in white sheets for spreadsheets.”

    das, you are a fool.

You have proven, through your demonstrated ignorance of liberal ideals, that you were never a liberal. You have the common wingnut idea that youth and liberalism are synonymous. This stems from an old jibe from Sir Winston Churchill, and nut cakes, like you, have taken it as revealed truth. It was a joke son.

This misinformed state about liberals melds into another situation your post at #9 and #12 reveals. That is you suffer from a common failing among conservatives, an inability to perceive irony, sarcasm and satire. It is hard to state why this is so, perhaps it is genetic, although P. J. O’rourke seems to get it. Maybe the fault lies elsewhere…

I’d like to weigh in on this, Harry. My sense — and here I speak with the authority of someone who has earned four degrees — is that the fault lies with the liberal media.

Look at the TV news shows. How many times did you ever see a shred of irony coming from Brokaw, Rather or Jennings? Never, I say!

Liberals didn’t discover humor until Jon Stewart escaped from a mental institution, took refuge in a TV studio, and got the bright idea of holding hostage a camera. Get this: His show was a complete accident!

Funny you should mention irony, Harry. A recent study produced by the Institute for the Extermination of Liberalism shows that iberals have a 56 percent less capacity for irony than Wall Street conservatives, 73 percent less capacity than cultural conservatives, and 103 percent less capacity than neo-Nazi conservatives.

This clearly proves that you are not only wrong, Harry, but sadly lacking in irony yourself. Perhaps you should start going to church.

my liberal friends whooshed past me into a nut-land of HalliburtonBush-Hitlerville, while the rough beast slouched towards Bethlehem, born and devouring as he went.

Clearly, I have no idea who your friends are, but as a life-liberal who first voted in 1962, the position of liberals in my circle was that the routing of the Taliban and destruction of al-Quada camps on Afghanistan was A-OK and curtailed before the job, capture of the guys on the top (bin Laden and his lieutenants) was complete.

Instead, a job was left undone there, and the U. S. then focused on enemy that had been incapacitated by ten years of military action against them, Iraq.

I do not see how this was of personnel and materiel in any way stems terrorism. In fact, the evidence is ample that terrorism has grown as a result of our excursion in Iraq.

Instead of enhacing the security of shipping containers, nuclear installations and chemical plants, I am told that intercepting terabytes of personal data and communication records about U. S. citizens enhances my safety from terrorist attack. That arresting a U. S. citizen to eventually charge him with making a contribution to a charity, and that charity that then may have given money to an al-Qaeda connected organization is somehow a protection against terrorist.

Instead of dealing with a North Korean foe, who now has both the weapon and the delivery system, I see the administration becoming less and less effective in their dealing with the foe. Turning its attention to Iran, that does not have a weapon or delivery system.

To have you say that disagreeing with a very inefectual effort that costs a nation’s ransom and enriches industry atop the bones of the dead is, somehow, cheering on the terrorists is so illogical, it’s hard to think you ever thought any differently.

so, don’t be so disrespectful as to assert that 9/11, as horrible as that event was, was an epiphany for you that drives you to post as you do here. That story doesn’t hold water.

I’m not gonna call tonight — I can’t speak for eastern Washington folks — but I’ll post the following observations here.

First, there are people in eastern Washington who will vote Republican no matter what. To hell with them. Democrats should worry about how they can support the one-third of eastern Washington voters who vote Democratic. We need to educate ourselves about their issues, support them on things like gun rights, and in general make it possible for them to support our candidates by not antagonizing them. Even if they can’t elect Democrats to local offices, we need their votes to win statewide contests. They’re important, and we need to make sure they know that we understand that.

Second, there’s nothing we can do about people like Beverly (or whatever her name was), who called in to Goldy’s show and started shrieking about abortion. Like Beverly (or whatever her name is), I believe abortion is morally wrong. But there’s a host of moral issues in politics, and Republicans are on the wrong side of most of them. Emotion-driven single-issue voters like Beverly (or whatever her name is), who wilfully blind themselves to the GOP’s incompetence and corruption, can’t be reasoned with. Also, people who support abortion rights have as much right as she does to have their views represented by a political party, and to have a say in what our laws are, and how we govern our country. What Beverly (or whatever her name is) wants the Democratic Party to do is cave in to her temper tantrum. The DP’s answer to that should be, “no.” And my answer to Beverly (or whatever her name is) is, you can be an anti-abortion Democrat. I am. That puts you on the right side of the moral issues facing our country. The Democratic Party is a big tent. There’s room under it for disparate views.

Finally, I think it’s totally unrealistic for conservative, anti-government, eastern Washington Republicans to think they can run this state. They’re only about 13% of the state’s population. Furthermore, everything they have over there exists because of Democratic policies, and everything they do over there is subsidized by urban taxes. If they don’t like our money, then let’s stop sending it to them.

    It is hard to talk to you and roger because you keep putting forth all these “Grail” sentences posing as arguement but, in reality, they are not;

You think you gain high ground – shutting my mouth – by mentioning the 2500 hundred dead over and over as though you owned these lives now gone, now sacrificed for us. Again, this is a leftist tactic to foreclose on the whole issue of Iraq by appealing to the dead. These dead soldiers are important to you insofar as their deadness helps you to foreclose your argument about Iraq; See, dead soldiers; Iraq no good. Well pick a number and stand in line because these men and women soldiers were lots of things before being snared as a cipher in your frustrated arguing about Iraq. These men and women had committed themselves voluntarily to military vows, to an elected civilian commander in chief; these are sacred and ancient vows made more so now because they are voluntary. The nail in the head of the left is that the military is a volunteer military. And no amount of sneering and yes, blaspheme upon their vows and purpose will change that. You think by screaming about the military dead you are implicating those of us committed to the war in Iraq – again another leftist quest for purity.

another thing that is weird about the left: you’re so eager to scream about the dead soldiers and you are so eager to believe they walk into houses to shoot women and children in the head. What is the matter with you?

Apparently I’m not the only one wondering why Coulter hasn’t been disbarred for publicly advocating the murder of judges and other public officials. Liberal blogger Taylor Marsh is wondering the same thing. http://www.taylormarsh.com/arc.....hp?id=1797

Yes, I realize Coulter isn’t making her living by practicing law, and lifting her attorney’s license would be merely symbolic. You can say exactly the same thing about Bill Clinton, but that doesn’t stop wingers from making a big deal of Clinton’s suspension from the Arkansas bar for lying to a grand jury about his affair with Monica Lewinsky. The “attorney” title — which Coulter is entitled to — gives her credibility she doesn’t deserve. And letting someone like her have the license is a black mark on the entire legal profession. Attorneys are officers of the court, and simply can’t display the disrespect for judges that Coulter does. It is in the best interests of the legal profession and our system of justice that Ann Coulter not remain an attorney.

You’d think with all the trial lawyers in the Democratic Party, somebody would file a complaint against her. I’m not sure where she’s licensed; I assume New York, because that’s where she was (briefly) in private practice. It’s also possible she was licensed by Michigan, because that’s where she went to law school.

Since I’m a Washington lawyer, I can guarantee you that Coulter does not meet the character and fitness requirements for admission to our state bar. She could never get a license here, thank God. But my point is, she shouldn’t be licensed anywhere.

Disbarring Ann Coulter would send a message: You can’t incite public hatred against judges and the courts, because that undermines the administration of justice. And if you do — you can’t be an attorney. Disbarring Ann Coulter would send another message to the general public: Coulter is a fringie of low character who is not fit to practice law, and is not worth listening to.

Somebody in the Democratic bar needs to get cracking on this.

Man, this is gonna be TOO easy.

“1) it wasn’t necessary, Iraq was a negligible threat
    “Right. Leftist dreaming.

No facts here; just rightwing rant — “leftist dreaming.” How so? What was the threat, das? Can you specify one? Iraq had no WMDs; no ICBMs, bombers, or submarines to deliver WMDs; no nuclear weapons, no nuclear reactor, no nuclear program; no interest in attacking the U.S. (Saddam only wanted to coerce his neighbors); no Al Qaida training camps, and no Al Qaida terrorists (Saddam and Osama were on the outs with each other; in addition, terrorists would be potential rivals and a threat to Saddam’s regime); and Saddam couldn’t possibly invade Kuwait or Saudi Arabia while they were under American protection.

Saddam was, at most, a pain in the ass.

“2) it has cost this country countless billion in treasure
“Wait till things really crank up. In WWII we spent 30% of the GNP on war; we’re nowhere near than yet.

Actually, the billions Bush has spent on his war CAN be counted — about 300 billion of direct spending so far, and estimated indirect costs to the American economy of around a trillion dollars.

The Iraq war is a contributing factor to high oil prices, and Bush’s deficit financing of the war will lead to inflation, high interest rates, and high unemployment. In addition, the money diverted for war spending (plus future interest payments on the new debt) can’t be used for things that benefit the American people here at home.

“3) it has cost this country the good will of much of the world
    W”e never had the goodwill of the people who write for newspapers in foreign countries; america bashing is oldtime religion among the writer classes of the world; on the other hand the world’s poor are dying to get here;

This statement is simply false; a lie. America liberated Europe and the Pacific from Hitler and Tojo, and for decades defended the Free World against Soviet domination. We were considered “a beacon of hope” in the world. Thanks to Bush and his followers, those countries now regard the U.S. as a warmonger and bully.

“4) it has exhausted the resources of the U.S. military
    “which US Military?

Your reply, das, is beyond stupid — it lacks meaning. It says nothing. Perhaps you thought it clever; but it is merely banal and vacuous. While I don’t agree that Iraq has sapped U.S. military resources — our nuclear deterrent is uninvolved in Iraq and remains unimpaired, and the bulk of our conventional forces are NOT in Iraq and are either performing garrison duty in various locations or are in CONUS and available for deployment in a crisis — neverthless Iraq is hurting morale in the volunteer military, is consuming equipment, fuel, personnel, munitions, and other resources, and is a hindrance on tactical flexibility if the military finds itself in the position of having to respond to a crisis elsewhere.

“5) it has cost 10 of thousands of Iraqi lives
“terrorists kill, that’s what they do…

It’s true that U.S. military operations in Iraq have killed thousands of civilians. How many thousands is debated. It’s not true that Iraq has anything to do with “terrorists.” It may be that some terrorists are now operating in Iraq, thanks to the U.S. creating the opportunity for them to do so. But the so-called “insurgency” — a misnomer — mostly consists of people trying to throw a foreign invader out of their country. The run-of-the-mill fighters attacking our troops are not “terrorists,” they are an opposing military force, which is employing guerilla tactics and therefore its fighters can aptly be called “guerillas.” It’s also correct to call them “the enemy.”

“6) it has maimed and traumatized many more thousands of Iraqis
“terrorists are having a field day in Iraq”

An inflated claim. Such terrorists as are able to operate in Iraq are too few in number and too lacking in resources to have a significant impact on the course of events.

“7) it has maimed and traumatized thousands of Americans
“who happen to be volunteer soldiers committed to this fight”

This is true of some of our military personnel, but not all of them. Those held in the military against their will under “stop loss” can’t be considered volunteers; they’re effectively conscripts. Obviously, the hundreds of American soldiers who have deserted aren’t committed to this fight; and thousands more who are complaining about repeated deployments to Iraq don’t seem very “committed to this fight,” either. The dissension is even reaching into the ranks of retired generals. Even within the military, there is nowhere near unanimous support for continued involvement in Iraq.

“8) over 2500 Americans are dead
“See post 58. You don’t care about the soldiers except as dead soldiers – only as an illustration for your argument; the live soldiers you slander and accuse of murder and heap any kind of defamatory innuendo upon them – do don’t give me your dead soldier bit, bub.

This statement, along with your post @58, is beneath contempt and frankly if you said something like that to my face you would regret it. First of all, you rightwing motherfuckers don’t own the military; we’re all responsible for America’s soldiers. As citizens, we have the right and obligation to inquire about the wisdom of committing them to battle, and spending their lives on questionable military actions. Whether you like it or not, this is a democracy, and you don’t have the right to silence critics or opponents. Secondly, the death of a single American soldier is an occasion of sadness and sorrowness, made especially keen by a sense that this loss of life is senseless, pointless, and profitless. It certainly has nothing to do with fighting the bastards who attacked us on 9/11.

Keep drinking the rightwing kool-aid; you fuckers have divided our country, sown hatreds among our own people, and undermined the troops you claim to support.

The ugly fact is, rightwingers don’t support the troops. You’re not willing to pay taxes to buy even basic battle gear for the soldiers in the field. Your party tried to cut their combat pay, and cut veterans benefits. All of your party’s leaders are people who copped out of military service when it was their turn to serve — and you vote for these draft dodgers and deserters.

I donated $99 to http://www.operation-helmet.org/ to buy one (1) helmet upgrade kit for a soldier serving in Afghanistan or Iraq. This should be the government’s responsibility, but our government is failing our troops in the field, so it’s up to us as private citizens to buy the equipment for the troops that our government won’t purchase for them. What have you contributed to this cause, wingfuck? Nothing, I’ll bet. You’re nothing but a mouth. I repeat: YOU’RE NOTHING BUT A MOUTH. Empty suit. All hat, no cattle. A flat tire where the rubber meets the road. That’s you. From now on, whenever you claim to “support the troops,” I’m going to mock you, because you deserve to be mocked.

You don’t support the troops. You’re USING the troops — for your own selfish ends. Fuck you, traitor bastard.

I have to apologize for something. Last night I criticized the people who participate on this blog for shouting down everyone who disagrees with them. I got up on my high horse and insisted that this was wrong – that people can disagree with reasoned argument and come out with everyone learning something new.

That sounded pretty good. The problem is that I haven’t been walking my talk. You could probably list dozens of examples (and in an effort to clear the air I invite you to do so), but I will sheepishly present just one big whopper.

I haven’t treated Darcy Burner fairly. I have repeatedly demanded that her supporters explain her merits, and when they did I pulled a Mark the Redneck routine of only hearing what I wanted to hear (which was quite close to nothing). I also refused to give an adequate answer to their entirely reasonable question: What has Reichert done that justifies re-election. Why did I deflect? Because he is no Abraham Lincoln.

Truth be told, I find it very hard to be objective on this race. I’ve given money to Reichert, my husband is a lobbyist who requires a good working relationship, and almost all of my friends are Republican insiders. Our cocktail parties frankly have an echo chamber quality.

That’s not the case at this blog. I give Goldy credit for not censoring people. You have lots more debate here than at Sound Politics.

So my apologies. I will try to listen more carefully and not present my views with such shrillness. I will try to loosen up and have a better sense of humor. I’ll even do a better job of spelling my name right.

Nice try at 111. But isn’t it chickenshit to fake who you are? If you disagree with me, have the guts to sign your name to it (even if it is an alias).

Darcy Burner is in the spotlight now, on her own choosing. If she can’t be criticized, then she needs to get out now. Why does she need some lying ass like you defending her? Is her case so week? All I have asked is some meat to fill out a very thin resume. Can’t be done, because there isn’t any. She is a shallow dillantante, supported by wishful thinking in the dem party.

This is a leftwing blog, so I talk about the left wing candidates. When this becomes a rightwing blog talking about REichert, then we can all talk about his qualifications. I’m sure goldy has some last minute smear he is working on, because even he knows that darcy is weak and can’t make it by playing it straight.

You can speculate all day who I am and where I fit in the political picture. If spending that much time thinking about me makes you happy, then I have spread some sunshine into this world.

Oh, I’m so confused. My head and my heart are pulling in opposite directions! What do I do?

I was raised to be a good girl. Do what you are told, be polite, wear lots of make up, and you will be rewarded. For years Libby Dole has been my role model, because she has been a great soldier – and has been rewarded in spades!

I’ve tried to be like Libby. You can see that in how I’ve participated in this blog. I really want to carry the water for the Republicans this year because their majority status is imperiled. And that’s why I’ve gotten rather snippy and manipulative.

But you know, I do feel sad. Because when I was in college a part of me did enjoy learning for the sake of learning; discussing big issues without getting angry at each other when we disagreed. For the first time I really understood what democracy was all about – the give and take of ideas; the sharing of who we are and where we stand. Oh, to walk away from those discussions feeling respected and respectful! I fondly remember those times.

That’s not what it’s like out there in the political trenches today. It’s open warfare. I complain about your lefties, but I have seen enough Republican game plans to know that our strategy has been to polarize, polarize, polarize. Truth be told, that’s my main “job” here.

I wish it weren’t so. Perhaps someday we can just be people and talk real.

“The increasing privatization of Australia’s health-care system has not meant a better bang for our buck,” said Dr. Jim Maher of the University of New England in New South Wales. “Instead, it has led to increasing complexity, higher costs and a two-tiered health system. The more we privatize, the deeper citizens have to dig into their own pockets.”

“What is remarkable,” said Dr. Patrick Dubreil, “is that two countries that are continents apart are seeing the same negative outcomes of privatization. Increasingly in France we have a health-care system that financially punishes the sick, particularly those with limited income.”

In 2002, 11.2 per cent of the French adult population reported they couldn’t get health care for financial reasons. French doctors are becoming big businessmen, Dr. Dubreil continued. Many now exact fat additional fees beyond a patient’s private insurance.

In Australia, which also has an official two-tier system, the cost of private health insurance is climbing by up to 20 per cent per year. Yet, just as in France, many private hospitals and doctors still impose additional “substantial” fees,” Dr. Maher said.

I like Coulter sometimes and don’t like her at other times. Haven’t read the book so can only comment on the BS I read in this thread. I did however see Bowling for Columbine and then did my due dilligance and researched what passed for “facts” in that work of fiction. Of course a great many of the items in that film were totally discredited, if not factually than for the errors in their context. Those errors completely obscuring the actual factual basis.

I don’t see that in this thread about Coulter’s book or in general. I see alot of crying about her calling people names or “being mean” to them but not a lot of rebuttal. I see a lot of name calling but come on … tear the book apart item by item or else do the right thing and withhold your assinine comments.
