Is the “mainstream” media ignoring Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s expose on vote fraud and suppression in Ohio? Well, as far as local political writers go, you can’t get much more mainstream than the Seattle P-I’s Joel Connelly. (And I mean that in a good way, Joel.)
How could the PI and Times cover the theft of the 2004 election in Ohio when they had their hands full covering specious charges of fraud by Dean Logan? That they were no more than cynical suspicions triggered by those who came out on the losing end of a recount was too opaque for our lazy press. They even sucked up the great vacation flapdoodle.
They can’t be bothered looking a real fraud. Their masters might get mad.
One of the Kennedy clan pled guilty to DWI, and ya know what? That’s the end of it! Let’s not have a bunch of yahoos making a big deal out of this foible. The Kennedy lad will pay the consequneces for DWI, and that’s it. Case closed.
The charges coming out of the minnow pond, I mean.
Of course the MSM is ignoring it because they see it for the load of manure that it is.
2.
A non sequitur. The only purpose in mentioning the troubles of Robert’s cousin is to avoid the issue at hand.
Does being a libertarian mean you suck Karl Rove’s dick?
4.
Oh sure, we get pounded with absolute bullshit about KC in 2004, charges that were adjudicated and found lacking years ago. But testimony and evidence of Republican fraud don’t even merit an official investigation.
Of course, Republicans always want special rules. They can’t win otherwise.
Here in Washington a completely open, transparent recount has been pounded at for going on two years now. Not an iota of evidence of official misconduct has passed the laugh test.
Republican election officials in Ohio and Florida are such partisans they use their records of stolen elections to rise in the party heirarchy.
Katheren Harris was awarded a Congressional office, Ken Blackwell wants to be governor.
The lesson is clear. Fire needs to be fought with fire.
This is what Washington Republicans want in an election official.
When ROLLING STONE confronted Blackwell about his overtly partisan attempts to subvert the election, he dismissed any such claim as ”silly on its face.” Ohio, he insisted in a telephone interview, set a ”gold standard” for electoral fairness. In fact, his campaign to subvert the will of the voters had begun long before Election Day. Instead of welcoming the avalanche of citizen involvement sparked by the campaign, Blackwell permitted election officials in Cleveland, Cincinnati and Toledo to conduct a massive purge of their voter rolls, summarily expunging the names of more than 300,000 voters who had failed to cast ballots in the previous two national elections.(55) In Cleveland, which went five-to-one for Kerry, nearly one in four voters were wiped from the rolls between 2000 and 2004.(56)
55) The board of elections in Cuyahoga, Franklin and Hamilton counties.
56) Analysis by Richard Hayes Phillips, a voting rights advocate.
Always look in the cities for people to remove from the voter roles, never in the ‘burbs. The GOP knows where their votes are.
HARRY PUT YOUR HEAD BACK IN THE BAG OF GLUE AND TAKE A DEEP BREATH.YOUR AN IDIOT.
Just keeps getting worse for you guys doesn’t it. Documents found after Zarqawi got his “virgins” show AQ getting worried about us winning. You guys must hate that huh?
Question: How long will it be until Kerry and TSWITW and Reid and the rest of the kooks claim that they were behind the war all the time?
Stock market up again today on more economic good news. Gummint revenues up 14% last quarter on stronger economy AND TAX CUTS.
@2 WHICH DWI WILL HE BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR THIS IS NOT THE FIRST ONE HE HAS HAD.AND IS NOT THE LEFT WHO BRINGS UP BUSHS DWI.GUESS THAT IT ONLY GOES FOR THE RIGHT.
Didja hear Coulter’s books is #1 on NYT best sellers list? Guess you hate filled extremists are out of the mainstream. And your victim spokesmen will continue to be attacked, except even more vigorously.
Connelly is wrong about the exit polls, they are the mechanism used in Germany and France to check the validity of elections results. And as for the “tiny margin of error””
The first indication that something was gravely amiss on November 2nd, 2004, was the inexplicable discrepancies between exit polls and actual vote counts. Polls in thirty states weren’t just off the mark — they deviated to an extent that cannot be accounted for by their margin of error. In all but four states, the discrepancy favored President Bush.(16)
16) Evaluation of Edison/Mitofsky Election System 2004” prepared by Edison Media Research and Mitofksy International for the National Election Pool (NEP), January 19, 2005, Page 3
Exit polls in three of the 49 sampled in Ohio were examined and found to have results that indicate either massive vote miscount or entirely implausible behavior, such as Bush voters lying more than Kerry voters. That is the way Edison/Mitifsky attempted to explain away the variance of the exit polls from the results. In the three precincts in Ohio, the odds of the exit polls share for Kerry being much higher than the official vote counts were 1 in 867,205,553; 1 in 294,832 and 1 in 17,815.
Connelly should do more homework.
10 – yawn. Global stocks are way down. What 2 or 3 trillion over the last quarter? Any appreciation in the U.S. stock market reflects a “flight to quality” or in reality people swimming to the boat that’s sinking slower.
Revenue’s up? Have we balanced the budget like under Clinton? Have we paid down the debt like under Clinton?
Nope. Keep spinnin’ though. You might get to China.
Just can’t keep your eye on the ball, can you trolls.
Want to change the subject, don’t you. You don’t want anyone to
look at Ohio.
Keep beating up KCRE, that’s the ticket. The Kennedy’s are kooks.
Exit polling is mysticism. Republicans have a God given right to
steal elections
14
Voters aren’t as stupid as you think they are. We were tired of the media calling election results base on exit polls so we just didn’t tell the exit pollster who we really voted for. It really is just that simple.
9.
You left out a few words there YO. You mean “YOUR [CRITIC IS] AN IDIOT.”
Happy to help out.
Now, go back into the trailer and have another Mickey’s.
What, is Y’O hitting the mickey’s. . .guess his ‘dime bag’ ran out. . .
14 – Global stocks down? Data please… And if they are, is that GWB’s fault too?
16.
I stopped believing in fairy tales long ago.
But, it is true that Republicans are pathological liars.
It just wasn’t possible for there to be that many of them in those Ohio precencts.
Improbable, to say the least.
Harry, YO is right, you are an IDIOT
HARRY HOW MUCH DOES THE GLUE COST YOU CHEAP BASTARD.
The fact is that it really doesn’t matter what RFK jr or anyone else has to say about the 2004 election. Mr. Bush is the President of the United States until Jan. 2009.
YO
Are you even smart enough to figure out that you wipe after, not before, you take a shit? You do know that’s the order in which you take care of things on the toilet, don’t you? You may be even less literate than JCH, which is a pretty low bar to crawl under. It’s pretty easy to see how the rightwing could sway a knuckle-dragger like you.
YO @ 11:
What I was referring to is that I’m sick and tired of hearing about politicians and their drunk driving beefs. It’s all about as relevant as Wilbur Mills, a prominent politician, who, about 35 years ago, got involved in an episode ladeled “Fanny-Gate” because it involved Congressman Mills, a stripper named Fanny Foxe, and large quantities of bourbon.
All it turned out to be was an embarrassment that the press couldn’t wait to exploit. Both left and right. Let’s save the air time and ink for reporting important stuff rather that the gleeful humiliations.
19 – Excuse me. Two trillion in the last MONTH!
If anyone knows about stealing elections, it is the Kennedys.
Rossi Files Unprecedented 8th Run for Governor
By DJ Savage
THE SEATTLE DAILY STRANGER
May 12, 2032
Failed slumlord Dino Rossi filed today for an unprecedented eighth consecutive run for governor of Washington State. Rossi will run for the first time on the Independent-Oddfellow ticket. Rossi has run in every gubernatorial election in Washington since 2004, failing to advance beyond the primary in the last six tries.
Rossi gained national attention in the 2004 election when, running as a Republican, he lost to Democrat Christine Gregoire by just 129 votes, a margin of 0.0045%. His subsequent legal challenges to the result were unsuccessful. Rossi has also named part-time net-journalist and long time political ally Stefan Sharkansky as his campaign manager.
Rossi joins a crowded field led by Republican Reagan Dunn hoping to unseat first term Democratic Governor Dean Logan.
The once successful real estate investor fell on hard times after it was discovered that a Renton apartment building that he purchased and renovated in 2009 had been insulated with shredded voter registrations and asbestos waste. The resulting litigation proved financially devastating to Rossi, and he filed bankruptcy in 2012. Since 2015 he has shared a trailer in Algona with Sharkansky.
29 – hilarious! You forgot that Sharkansky was still working on the “last word” on the 2004 election to be published “any day now”.
22.
If two idiots tell you that you’re an idiot, does anyone hear it?
Had Enough Yet?—@29: If you only applied that talent to making money, you’d be rich!!! But we know otherwise! You are a democrat and making money would force your “buds” to call you a Republican. Can’t have that, right?
Harry Tuttle: I remember Puddy calling you “Mummified”. I see the name is still relevent!
Not a whit of substance in any rightie post.
They’re wrong — again.
22
“Yo” is a contraction of “yahoo” (as in “trailer park yahoo”) and is properly spelled “Y’o.” Like most wingnuts, Y’o can’t spell his own fucking name; and you can’t spell his fucking name either.
11
Y’o, you’re the first person who has mentioned Bush’s DWI here for a long, long time. Also, Bush was DRINKING, Patrick Kennedy was not. “DWI” is not limited to drinking and driving, you can get a DWI if your driving is impaired by a legal prescription medication, which is what happened in Kennedy’s case. Not the same thing as Bush’s DRINKING AND DRIVING.
Roger: Cuzin’ Kennedy “claimed” he wasn’t drinking. But we Kennedys’ know what really happened! You, being a liberal lover, swallowed cuz’ kool-aid!
Roger, since you are the “expert” on HorsesASS regarding everything conservative, how would you know trailer trash unless, of course, the “burrow” is in the trailer park? You only dream of visiting Greenlake but you really live in Granite Falls?
Excuse Me !!
I LIVE in Ohio and have to report to you the ONLY election irregularities were found in DEMOCRATE districts under DEMOCRATE election supervisiors.. “The conspiracy theorists focus on Franklin County, home of the heavily Democratic city of Columbus. They allege, among other things, that long lines there on Election Day were a cagey tactic to keep blacks from voting. It just happens that Anthony is chairman of the Franklin County Board of Elections and also chairman of the Franklin County Democratic party. “I am a black man,” he told the Columbus Dispatch. “Why would I sit there and disenfranchise voters in my own community?” Good question.
Lots of hot air and blogging back then, but when the dust setteled, only ACORN and a few other Democrate partisons were in the Hoscoow for stuffing ballot boxes and such.
Sorry guys.. no foul
PS, Blackwell performed magnificently for a guy papered with suits and judges orders flying at him from all over before the election.
Welcome to HorsesASS Olmoss. Right now the left-wing whakoff jobs are NOT giving you the benefit of the doubt because you live there. They will be calling you all types of names.
Put on the “tin-foil hats” boys and girls before the evil republicans hit you with their mind altering brain scanner!
After all, this has got to be the only the reason why the MSM thinks that Robert Kennedy Jr’s book is really written by a crazy paranoid schizophrenic.
We all know he is simply “speaking truth to power” (gag, choke).
Please use Kerry sounding voice when uttering the “speaking truth to power” phrase……………
Thank you jaybo for your hit and run post on voting irregularities. Odd that you’re not coming here to make a wiseass comment about Maria Cantwell. I guess the McGavick campaign had to let you go along with Patrick from the Tacoma chickenhawk site. They had to switch strategies because so far nothing’s worked. Thanks for revealing that to us!
MWS – You right wingers reveal so much through your spews. It’s quite amusing to analyze them. It appears you take some offense at the term “trailer trash”. Could it be that your own origins are somewhat humble in nature? In a subsequent comment you introduce the epithet “wakoff” (sic?). Does this also reveal something about your favorite leisure activities?
Given the context provided by your remarks it is too easy to draw certain conclusions. Thanks for sharing with us MWS!
43
They’re touchy about their illiteracy, too.
39
Please stay in Ohio. We have enough wingwackos here.
38
I live in Green Lake Park, but I have cousins in Granite Falls that I correspond with regularly.
29
HAR HAR HAR HAR HAR! Good one! I’m saving it into my “HorsesAss” folder, and you trollfucks will be seeing it again.
39
Hey Ol’mossy brain — welcome to HorsesAss.org! Here are the rules:
1. This is a liberal blog
2. Unpatriotic, America-hating, fascist pig fuckers are welcome to post here
3. There’s no censorship
4. There is, however, a lot of name-calling
5. Make your wingnut buddies wear a rubber before they shove their dick up your ass because they’re all carriers of exotic diseases in addition to being traitors
A few days ago, “sillyguy,” a BIAW shill, asserted the constitution should be amended to require revotes in close elections.
(Karl Rove reportedly was overheard screaming: “WHO THE FUCK IS THIS MORON? WHO THE FUCK AUTHORIZED HIM TO DO THIS?! HAS HE FORGOTTEN FLORIDA AND OHIO?!”)
I called sillyguy’s idea “a flying machine that won’t fly.” (For photo of sillyguy with his flying machine, click here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/I.....hopter.JPG )
My words may have been prophetic — sillyguy has disappeared. I haven’t seen him for a couple of days. I wonder if he and his flying machine are in a tree somewhere.
Isn’t Ohio where the republican governor and all his asshole buddies are going to jail for ripping off a bunch of rare coins? What a place for republicons to be proud of.
While you’re fretting about a 100,000-vote difference, take a look at Washington state ’04. They had a 129-vote difference. Funny, but I don’t hear gnashing of teeth over THAT one.
51
Sorry dude — it was a 133-vote difference. You forgot to subtract Rossi’s 4 fraudulent votes from his total.
Oh, there was plenty of gnashing of teeth by the sore-loser Republicans! After all their whooping and hollering about “fraud,” it turned out they were just blowing smoke. I’ll bet 90% of those felons casting illegal votes were Republicans. We have a higher percentage of white males in our prisons than other states, and those guys vote Republican (if they vote at all) — all the crooks and thieves are in YOUR party!!!
Hairy Turtle-
Yawn.

Wow. It sounds like you would be for voter ID. Wait your a donk and you would lose to many illegal/dead/fraudulent votes if that happened. Nevermind. Hehe
@Wabbit How much gnashing of teeth has there been from Democrats over Bush elections in 2000 and 2004? And how many have been overturned?

“Didja hear Coulter’s books is #1 on NYT best sellers list?”
Funny, but when you, you know, LOOK at the NY Times best seller list, you find that, ummm, Ann Coulter’s book ISN’T EVEN ON IT.
http://www.nytimes.com/2006/06.....ction.html
Jesus, what a wanker!
Coulter was # 3 on Amazon yesterday when I checked. But MY Times? Nope.
“Stock market up again today on more economic good news. ”
And we all know that all the experts say that you should pay attantion ONLY to any single good day in the market and ignore, for example, the DJIA’s last month trending downward from 11.5K to 11K. http://money.cnn.com/quote/cha.....t1=Refresh
Don’t pay attentio to falling housing starts (http://money.cnn.com/2006/06/1...../index.htm), rising inflation (http://money.cnn.com/2006/06/1...../index.htm), high enerrgy costs, or rising interest rates. The good news is that the sotck market had a good day!!
I LIVE in Washington and have to report to you the ONLY election irregularities were found in REPUBLICAN votes.
PS, Logan performed magnificently for a guy papered with suits and judges orders flying at him from all over before the election.
We face lots of problems in teh US. Bogged down in iraq, health care costs rising while coverage shrinks, corruption scandals and citizen privacy in danger daily. So what do the GOP propose for America? Same old, tired, non essential shit. The gay marriage amenment. The flag burning amendment. The anemic, partisan, electioneering Iraq War “resolution.” However, lest I be accused of short-changing their hard work, I want to note that they also have been busy cutting Medicaid, aid to the disabled, foster care, child support enforcement, the food stamps program, reduced-cost school lunches for children, and student aid.
What do Democrats propose? Keep the troops to train and support the Iraqi “standing up” and bring the rest homw (squelched by the GOP). Senator Clinton introducing the Privacy Rights and Oversight for Electronic and Commercial Transactions Act of 2006 (PROTECT Act). Democrats introduce legislation to secure our ports, nuclear and chemical plants, and other sensitive facilities against attack (killed by the GOP–why do they hate America?). Clean water and clean air? Republicans against, Democrats for.
Amnesty for Iraqis who have killed Americans? Republicans for, Democrats against.
I think our choice is clear.
Senator Clinton’s PROTECT Act will protect consumer information by allowing credit card companies, banks and other financial service providers to share information only when customers “opt it.” Current law requires consumers to opt out.
-It will protect cell phone numbers and call records against disclosure.
-It will allow victims of identity theft to immediately freeze their credit rating.
-It will allow consumers to sue financial service providers to sue directly in federal court for violations of their privacy.
-It will create a right to be notified immediately if you are a victim of identity theft, to know when your information is transmitted overseas, and to receive a free copy of your credit report each year.
-It will create a “privacy czar” within the Office of Management and Budget.
-It will expand HIPAA by adding additional sanctions to ensure violators are held accountable.
I think we should be better prepared to deal with privacy that we were to deal with hurricanes, don’t you?
So supposedly we are to beleive that some “new” damning document just happens to be discovered in the middle of the week that the Republicans have devoted to using the war in Iraq to help their electoral chances in the fall?
Suuuuure it was. Couldn’t be any connection. You can beleive the administration, right?
I wish I could learn to to type “believe” the right way every time.
@62 But will it protect Republican candidates from having their credit reports ordered up by Chuck Schumer’s office?
