Apparently, some of my readers would like to discuss Darcy Burner’s law school grades. Good idea:
Contract law: A-
Torts: A-
Civil Procedure: A-
Basic Legal Skills: A
Property law: A
Criminal law: A
Constitutional law: A
Hmm. We all know Darcy’s smart, but it takes a lot of hard work to get grades like that at a top law school like the UW.
So, Richard Pope, are you going to release your transcripts?
Richard Lamar Pope Jr. Seems Darcy did a decent job doing her research into law. How were your grades in law school? Or did you get your degree from ‘Dial a Prayer OnLine University’?
So what! Cynthia McKinney punched a cop! So there!
If all of you idiots are finished with the law school stuff, you can start defending your Senate candidate now…
Cougarstein, I’ll bet a Hershey Bar that you have the same military service as Goldysteinburgloeb. Bet???
3..So, That’s a felony and Ms McKinney needs to resign and spent a little time in prison with lots of “Tookie Williams” black Democrats.
WASHINGTON — The fate of the estimated 350,000 illegal immigrants currently living in New Jersey is in the hands of U.S. senators, as they worked Thursday to reach an agreement on a measure that would give immigrants legal status and eventual citizenship. New Jersey Sens. Frank Lautenberg and Robert Menendez are siding with their Democratic colleagues in favoring a measure that would allow the estimated 11 million illegal immigrants in the United States to remain here for six years if they stay employed and pay fines. [350,000 new Democrat votes!!!!!!!!!!!!!]
Why would I bet with a wingNUT like yourself? Everyone knows RepubliCONS do not pay their gambling debts.
Well now POPE-A-DOPE will have to find some other thing to harp on. Let’s see if we can help Dickless Dickie. How bout this Dickie…I hear Darcie’s mother is an alien. Run with that. Maybe that will work for you. But hey, no luck finding out she BEAT her own mother, that’s what your guys do.
Richard Pope is an alumni of UW. I’m not sure when he graduated, but they may have had the late, unlamented Distinguished, Honors, Pass, Fail grading system at that time. He also sued the UW, but that’s another sordid tale.
Is it just me or are we living in a nightmare? Our pretend president is outing CIA agents for political gain. Can a Saddam – like reign of terror against his detractors be far behind?
[Just another Chicken Hawk]:
Have you ever found a subject that you can’t throw a racist epitaph at? Do you wear your hood when you post here?
JCH,
I’d be thrilled if McKinney retired. She’s an embarrassment. I was making fun of you because you have some internet version of Tourette’s where you just post random nonsense that has nothing to do with what’s in the thread.
[Just another Chicken Hawk]
The President and Vice President authorized the outing of a CIA agent for political gain.
I take it you are now in favor of him resigning and spending a little time in Prison.
Wow, you are more severe than Wrongboy, who just wants to impeach him.
I think it’s funny that a bunch of right wing kooks are attacking Darcy BUrner for NOT going to law school. What the fuck, gentlemen? Don’t we already have enough lawyers? Isn’t this a good thing?
As a college dropout, I’m proud Darcy went to Harvard and tried the UW School Of Law. If she had her fill after a year, that’s fine with me. Way to go Darcy!
Will,
I actually found it entertaining that some people thought that a person who got their undergraduate degree in computer science from Harvard would struggle at UW Law School. But at least they managed to dig up her maiden name after only about 2 days.
Commentby (The Real) Mark— 4/6/06@ 11:29 am
Uh – Real Mark – do you hold GWB to the same standard?
Andrei Vyshinsky was my mouthpiece, and he was terrible. The only cases he won were “shows” I had fixed in advance. I wouldn’t hire Richard Pope to lick his boots.
What a baaafooooon.
Uh – Real Mark – do you hold GWB to the same standard?
Even on a day with so much wingnuttiness to laugh at, this stands out. Thanks Moose, you made my day.
RE: the thoughts expressed in #16…remember to take into account that especially in the Ivy League, there’s two kinds of grades: the ones that are earned, and the ones that are bought.
Those grades are pretty good, even though the current grading system is quite different — and based on a somewhat higher median curve than when I started law school almost 19 years ago.
Why doesn’t Darcy Burner mention this in her campaign biography? Something like “I left Microsoft to go to law school so I could change the world. After completing my first year in the top 5% of my class, I took a leave of absence in June 2005 to pursue my congressional campaign full-time.”
You have answered some of the questions, but not nearly all of them. It makes me wonder even more why she is evasive and incorrect in her campaign biography.
Some poker expert should chime in here now about what Darcy’s done to the wingnut conspiracy-mongers.
Hmmm…someone who wanted to learn about the law before trying to get elected to enact it. And did a pretty darn good job at learning.
Stefan…sounds awful, eh?
Wow..Stefan’s still at it repeating the same old stuff over and over…hoping the fear and uncertainty will stick.
Sad, really.
Thomas @ 22:
You have to understand, the minnow has made a career out of his ignorance of the law. If he actually cared about the law, he would have nothing to post.
Oh, someone wanted to know MY GRADES at the University of Washington School of Law. Here is what I got during my first year:
Contract Law: 3.9
Torts: 3.9
Civil Procedure: 4.0
Basic Legal Skills: 3.8
Property Law: 3.7
Criminal Law: 3.9
Administrative Law: 3.6
Back when I attended, Constitutional Law was not a graduation requirement (or a first year course), but Administrative Law was. Since that time, the two courses have been reversed on the requirement list.
I did take Constitutional Law during my second year, and received a 4.0 in the course.
The grading scale is much different now, than it was 18 years ago. Back then, a 4.0 grade was rarely ever awarded in a course. Now, a professor must award a A (modern equivalent of 4.0) to 5% of the class, and may award an A to up to 15% of the class.
When I attended, a 3.2 was supposed to be the median grade in each course. Now a professor must award a B+ (3.4!) or better to at least 50% of the students, and may award this grade to up to 75% of the class.
My first year grades gave me the highest weighted average for my class, and I received an award for this. While Darcy Burner’s grades were certainly good, and would no doubt result in a higher weighted average with modern grade inflation, she probably didn’t have the highest average for first year students.
Hey Richard, be careful. With the weather getting warmer, you’ll want to switch from the double-wrap tinfoil hat to the single wrap pretty soon. Or perhaps you can move to a colander. The little holes help your scalp breathe when it gets too hot.
Those grades are pretty good, even though the current grading system is quite different – and based on a somewhat higher median curve than when I started law school almost 19 years ago.
So what are you saying? Is an A- like an F now? C’mon. Before you post something, read it to a class of first graders. If they laugh at you, don’t post it.
Why doesn’t Darcy Burner mention this in her campaign biography? Something like “I left Microsoft to go to law school so I could change the world. After completing my first year in the top 5% of my class, I took a leave of absence in June 2005 to pursue my congressional campaign full-time.â€
I have an even better question. Why did you assume that when a person writes their campaign bio that they will write every last detail of their life? To some people, what you wrote might sound cheesy or pretentious.
You have answered some of the questions, but not nearly all of them. It makes me wonder even more why she is evasive and incorrect in her campaign biography.
Keep digging Clouseau! You’ll find the holy grail eventually!
Let’s start parsing Sheriff Dave’s resume. Being an ex-cop, I am sure he lied about something.
@ 27,
Actually, we should parse his voting record from the past two years. In fact, many of us will be doing that for the next 7 months. It’s not going to be a pretty sight when the voters of his district see what he’s voted on.
A friend of mine was in your law school class, Mr. Pope, and she always talked about this irritating crackpot with the same name as yours.
Oh, snap Howie!
“Let me just say something about leaks in Washington. There are too many leaks of classified information in Washington. There’s leaks at the executive branch; there’s leaks in the legislative branch. There’s just too many leaks. ”
“And if there is a leak out of my administration,” Mr. Bush said, “I want to know who it is.”
-George W Bush
September 2003
It will be interesting to see how they spin this. This “president” is a disgrace.
“Now, by the way, any time you hear the United States government talking about wiretap, it requires — a wiretap requires a court order. Nothing has changed, by the way.
When we’re talking about chasing down terrorists, we’re talking about getting a court order before we do so. It’s important for our fellow citizens to understand, when you think Patriot Act, constitutional guarantees are in place when it comes to doing what is necessary to protect our homeland, because we value the Constitution.”
-George W Bush, campaigning in Pittsburgh, 2004
Howie @ 29
Tell her thanks for the compliment :)
Richard Pope,
I actually attended law school with you. With the grades you just posted, you should have been on law review–half graded on, half wrote on, remember? You were not on law review, I don’t believe. Why not?
Gee, Howie, looks like your Seattle for Dean website has been hacked by some Islamic fundamentalists from Turkey.
http://www.seattlefordean.com/index.php
Or were you just trying to show what things would have been like if your man had won the presidential election in 2004?
Proud Leftist @ 35
Gee, you have a good point there. I have told the truth about my law school grades, and I will presume that Darcy Burner has told the truth about her law school grades.
I will assume that 6 A’s and 2 A-‘s would easily put Darcy Burner in the top 8% or so of her first year class and qualify her for membership on the Washington Law Review — regardless of what she did in the writing competition, or whether she did it at all.
I will also assume that Darcy Burner wasn’t very much interested in the law review thing either. Not everybody is.
You guys love talking about funny coincidences. Is it a coincidence that Richard Pope gets slapped by Howie and then Howie’s site gets hacked and Richard Pope reports it here? I think not!
Catfight!!!!!!
Watch republifucks chew their arms off trying to get out of bed with Bush.
Moose &
Squirreltheheehawhim – “…do you hold GWB to the same standard?Standard of disclosure so the public can make up its mind? ABSOLUTELY! And if he wasn’t held to that standard, you wouldn’t have had the inclination to make the comment.
As for poor grades being an issue? I agree that they’re relevant… to a degree… and when taken together with the rest of the resume.
Her actual grades concern me far less than the overall appearance of dishonesty in her bio. AND, as I have said before, I also recognize that she is in a damned-if-you-do/don’t position unless she blames it on a staffer or the web designer (and that blows it out of proportion).
So, Regis, my final answer is that her law school grades mean something but are of far less relevance than many other things — like honesty.
Right now, the biggest thing about her that scares me is that Goldy is nearly brought to climax every time he mentions her name. [Goldy, you’re not schtupping her on the side, are you?]
I think the NeoCONS in DC should pass a new law! Any resume must be approved by them. Every minute detail of your life must be brought out in black and white. When you lost your first tooth, when you grew your first pubic hair, what your 4th grade teacher’s name was, whether you ‘hid’ with a towel in the locker room or walke proudly, if your first ‘love’ was older or younger, same sex or opposite sex, your first drivers test results, your first case of clap, your first ‘wet’ kiss, etc. Then maybe these RepubliCONS could be happy. LOL (extremely doubtful, as 98.9% of them would lie, as usual)
Cougar, Perhaps a little military service on YOUR part might do you some good. Then you will not feel inferior.
Goldy, Is the bitch leaving you??? Gee, I’m feeling for you. I hope she doesn’t retain the services of Myron Silverstein, ESQ or another Jewboy lawyer to rape you financially.
JCH, the day that I or anyone on this planet has to feel inferior to you will, as they say, be a cold day in hell. What makes you think I have no military experience? You, the all knowing racist coward, have been using your crystal ball perhaps?
Hey, I’m wondering if you moonbats can help me out here to determine if librul media bias exists.
Newsweek cover headline is “Illegal Immigrants Under Fire”. I guess I gotta give ’em credit for saying “illegal”, but then they portray the pooooor Meskin immigrants as victims in accordance with The Librul Prime Directive.
Would it be too much to ask to have the headline read “Congress Gets Serious About Border Security”.
Just wondering….
Goldy. I think we should start a fund to pay a researcher to look deeeeeeeeep into Sheriff Dave’s background. I mean everything. Interview his classmates. Talk to people who served under him. Get copies of each resume he ever filed with a government agency under FOIA to see how much each version changed. I would be willing to contribute. Since this is the kind of campaign the inbred righties want, let’s give em what they want. I am sure you could uncover some interesting tidbits about Davie!

McKinney vs. Capitol Police: Who’ll blink first?
By Steve Lubet
Published April 5, 2006
If Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney (D-Ga.) ever gets tired of politics, she ought to consider a career in poker. She obviously is skilled in the art of the bluff. Rather than apologize for hitting a Capitol Police security officer, McKinney has launched a caustic campaign to discredit the officer and characterize herself as the victim of police brutality. Her claims are extreme, but of course that’s the point. The more aggressive the bluff, the more likely it is to work.
The closest Bush ever got to piloting a jet was the picture he posed for in front of one. He didn’t have enough hours to fly one of those. Figure it out , clown. 300 hours in a part time military thing that he ditched half the time anyway.

Why Johnny can’t be bothered
By Thomas Geoghegan, a Chicago attorney and author, and James Warren, a Tribune deputy managing editor
Published April 4, 2006
The crisis in America, where ironically we have the world’s highest rate of bachelor’s degrees, is that if people don’t read papers, they generally won’t vote. The crisis of the press here is a crisis of democracy too. The single best indicator of whether someone votes is whether he reads a paper, according to political scientist Martin P. Wattenberg in his book, “Where Have All the Voters Gone?” But the converse is also true. Whether one votes is a much better indicator than a college degree as to whether one is reading a daily paper.
The reaction between these two trends, a decline in voting and the decline in the reading of dailies, is what scientists call autocatalytic. One drives the other in a downward spiral. The under-30 young read far less, and vote far less–and according to their teachers, have fewer opinions. Not reading, not having political sentiments, they aren’t especially capable of voting intelligently anyway.
Dick Cheney masterminded 9/11. This administration is covered in human blood.
The UW Law school grading system is found here:
http://www.law.washington.edu/.....ading.html
Basically, 5 – 15% of the students get A’s
20 – 40% of the remaining students get A-‘s
The rest get B+’s
I think it’s terrible that the Capital Cops didn’t recognize Her Highness Cynthia McKinney. Clear case of profiling if ya aks me. She had every right to hit the cop. Instead of apologizing, she should sue the cop, the department, the mayor and everybody in DC up to the lying motherfucker president we have. Further, she should propose legislation to BAN cops from ever questioning or arresting African hyphen Americans because they are incapable of committing crimes.

Harry Poon when was the last time you ever climb into a fighter aircraft like the F102. With your sharp wit, tell me how many hours did you spend in a two-seat jet before they let you solo an aircraft like the F102. Harry many a pilot flew in Viet Nam with half that many hours in the cockpit and did quite well. Now consider this the Air National Guard did not call any of its Units up at LBJ request. That did not prevent Pilots from flying in that War, but the F102 was not suitable for that kind of conflict and missions. The Fighter was a super sonic aircraft, and was used only for an interceptor of Bombers and any aircraft that defended them. Viet Nam required aircraft that operated at slow, and super sonic speeds, and required a gun to defend itself at slow speeds. That is the real reason President Bush did not serve in Viet Nam the aircraft could not perform in that environment. Now President Bill Clinton was another story and his lack of service in the military should not be considered. For one he would not cut the grade that is required of a solider in the battlefield and that should not be held against him or anybody else that skip the country to avoid the draft.

Roger Rabbit your friend Sandy is not the President of the United States, so what is your point? When Vice President Cheney showed up Qatar, in 2002, that location was classified to the public, and no one was allowed to divulge that location. After he left that location was downgrade in its classification due to the entourage of reporters that were with the VP. After the VP left, nothing changed and the enemy was still dieing like flies in the battlefield in Afghanistan, and the War in Iraq started a few months later. Roger classified information is release to draw the enemy into a different conflict that we can win. That is what happens in the fog of War and the dynamics of change on the battlefield dunning the conflict. The reason for losing the Viet Nam War was the many requests to get permission from LBJ to carry the War to the enemy. Roger that time lag cost this nation lot of lives and created your bad attitude. I do believe Sandy Berger was charge and admitted that he remove classified information and destroyed it to cover up or hide what really happen in the White House at that time.
Is Darce the farce still an executive? Or did you give up on making people one job past entry level into executives…

MTR ANTI-HATRED VIGIL: DAY 11
On Sunday, March 26, Mark the Redneck claimed the following:
“Me? hate and intolerance? When? Give me an example.
No, you guys have cornered the market on hate and intolerance.”
Commentby Mark The Redneck— 3/26/06@ 3:38 pm
This comment was pretty cheeky, because MTR has proposed genocide far larger than that perpetrated by the Nazis:
“There are 6 billion people in the world. 2 billion of them are muslim. That means that all the rest of need to pair up and kill one of them. When we all do that, the problem will be solved. And it really is like a cancer… you hafta get every trace of it… every cell, or it will come out of remission with a vengeance. This also solves the global population problem you guys are so worried about, so we kill two birds with one stone.”
Commentby Mark The Redneck— 12/17/05@ 8:51 pm
How long will it take for MTR to repudiate or apologize for calling for a Holocaust far larger than that waged by the Nazis?
Roger and Gang they need your help please make large donations to save the Socialist Democrat Party. The Republicans are really scared right Roger.
Dear Klake,
Don’t believe the spin — the Republicans are scared.
Just days after Tom DeLay announced his intention to resign from the House amid scandal, the DCCC learned of new developments in the special election to replace Duke Cunningham – another high profile Republican forced to resign from the House amid scandal – that show that Republicans across the country are in panic mode.
On Monday, our Republican counterpart, the NRCC, dropped a cool $360,000 into attack ads against proud Democrat Francine Busby, who is running in the special election in California’s 50th.
https://www.dccc.org/contribute/ca50_ad/?id=20060406_busby_ad
You won’t be surprised to hear that the ad is misleading – after all, that is what we expect from the Karl Rove playbook. Francine Busby is running a model campaign with a platform of stringent ethics and lobbying reform.
And here’s the final irony. The NRCC wants to talk about dirty money, so let’s talk about dirty money. Disgraced Duke Cunningham and Tom DeLay have given the NRCC over $1.5 million to spend on attacking Democrats – just like they are here. So as this upstanding Democrat, Francine Busby, runs one of the cleanest races in history, the NRCC is smearing her using some of the dirtiest money ever to taint the halls of Congress.
We won’t stand for it. The DCCC has already invested hundreds of thousands of dollars to help Francine get the best field team in the country and hard-hitting ads to answer the NRCC attacks (we’ll give you a look next week!). When Republicans are scared, they lash out – but it won’t work this time, and it won’t work this November.
Scared? They should be.
Stay tuned, I’ll keep you up to date on Francine’s inspiring campaign and the Republicans’ dirty money smears against her.
Sincerely,
Karin Johanson
National Political Director

“Would it be too much to ask to have the headline read “Congress Gets Serious About Border Security”. Just wondering….” Commentby Mark The Redneck— 4/6/06@ 7:31 pm
Yes, it WOULD be too much to ask, because (the GOP) Congress is NOT serious about border security. To wit:
Nov. 14, 2001: Senate Democrats propose $15 billion for homeland security; the White House warns against “permanent spending on other projects that have nothing to do with stimulus and that will only expand the size of government.”
Dec. 4, 2001: Senate Appropriations Committee votes 29-0 in favor of $13.1 billion for homeland security; the next day, Bush threatens to veto it.
Dec. 6, 2001: Senate Republicans reduce homeland security funding by $4.6 billion.
Dec. 19, 2001: Under pressure from White House, House-Senate conferees eliminate another $200 million of funding for airport security, port security, nuclear facility security, and postal security.
June 7, 2002: Senate votes 71-22 for $8.3 billion of homeland security funding; the next day, Bush’s advisors recommend a veto.
July 19, 2002: Under White House pressure, homeland security funding is further reduced by cutting money for food security, cyber security, nuclear security, airport security, port security, drinking water security, coordination of police and fire radios, and lab testing to detect chem-bio weapons.
Aug. 13, 2002: Bush decides not to spend $2.5 billion appropriated for homeland security on the grounds of “fiscal responsibility.”
Jan. 16, 2003: White House reacts to Democratic efforts to increase homeland security funding by stating, “The Administration strongly opposes amendments to add new extraneous spending.” Later that day, Senate Republicans vote against funds for smallpox vaccine.

klake, I see you’re still reading day-old newspapers to save quarters! Here’s today’s news:
“McKinney Apologizes for Scuffle With Officer
“WASHINGTON (April 6) – With a grand jury investigating and little support from House colleagues, Rep. Cynthia McKinney reversed course and apologized Thursday for an altercation in which she entered a Capitol building unrecognized, refused to stop when asked by a police officer and then hit him.”
Didja notice the part about “little support from House colleagues?” Democrats weren’t exactly lining up behind her, were they?

I agree RR; We should arm and when the righties start busting up press confrences like they did in Houston today for Dumbass DeLay’s opponent, we should show them the business end of the rifle. Chickenshit chickenhawks wouldn’t know what to do if they found someone who’d fight back.

Why shouldn’t we look the other way when an African American congresswoman smacks a cop for grabbing her arm? You look the other way at a lot worse than that! My Lai, Abu Ghrab, to name just two. Why should Republicans have a monopoly on looking the other way? Why can’t we look the other way too? Republicans want a monopoly on every fucking thing!

Roger and Gang it looks like French Socialism is not working very well today. Look at that unemployment rate in that socialist country where everyone is suppose to have a job for life. I bet Seattle can do a better job at making Socialism work and everybody will also have free health care like Canada. Folks who will pay for all this success?

French PM defends youth job law
French PM Dominique de Villepin has said he will battle on to the end to solve youth unemployment, and urged protesting students to resume studying.
He told his monthly press conference that it was time to “end the crisis” over his controversial youth jobs law.
Millions have demonstrated over the past few weeks against the law.
The unions have given the government until Easter weekend to withdraw the law or face a repeat of the recent general strikes.
Rejecting rumours that he was ready to resign in face of the protests, Mr de Villepin said the new law was a tool to bring down unemployment.
Mr de Villepin said that in underprivileged areas up to 50% of young people were jobless. The national rate of youth unemployment is more than 20%.

The French were magnificent at Verdun. The world owes them a debt it can never repay. Honor them; they bore horrors and made sacrifices beyond any army before or since.
Verdun is a tragic example of the horrors visited upon humanity by right-wing politicians and the xenophobic idiots who support them.
Richard Pope, are you saying you qualified for law review but totally voluntarily declined … or is there more to the story?
117
Verdun….. uh yeah. Well these sort of things happen to the socialist lefties of Europe. A righty in Europe is a socialist at best.
The reason why the US is so much better than the rest of the world is because it is more conservative. The world consists of the US (the best) and then the rest.
Is there some proof of these grades, or is it because Goldy said so? I would be happy to post my UW transcript if you post hers.
-The reason why the US is so much better than the rest of the world is because it is more conservative. The world consists of the US (the best) and then the rest. –
Apparently, RUFUS hasn’t been to the UK, Ireland, India, Hong Kong, Taiwan or Shanghai in recent years. My god, even the Loonie has been catching up with the dollar since George W started beating the dollar to a pulp.
Do we waste more of our money on insane military incursions and weapons systems than some of these other places? Yes. Maybe that is what morons like RUFUS are talking about when they use the word “better.”

Speaking of which: klake, have you found that “escape goat” yet?
-But a black Democrat Cindi McKinney?? She could have killed him [a la Teddy’s Mary Jo K] and you libs would look the other way. –
Think you may be stretching it (even for you!) a little bit there, JCH/Puddy? And what IS the purpose of switching between these two screen names? They both spout the same juvenile drivel. Why not just combine the two for full (idiotic) effect?
-Didja notice the part about “little support from House colleagues?” Democrats weren’t exactly lining up behind her, were they?-
That’s strange, RR – JCH/Puddy was trying to have us all believe the ENTIRE PARTY was behind McKinney, since that episode was just par for the course when you’re a Democrat.
I still find it hard to believe JCH/Puddy is even serious. I mean, NOBODY could be that dumb, right?
LiberalRedneck, nobody ‘left’ could be that dumb…..but upwards of 50% of the right are verifiable.
How do we even know POPE-A-DOPE is a lawyer? He’s lied about so many things, he could be lying about that. If he is a lawyer, I am going to create a text of his posts here and forward them to the Bar and see if there isn’t some sanction they can post against him for being a lying asshole.

I am a senior at UW and I don’t know a single person who cites their grades in terms of A and A-. UW is on the 4 point system. If a person got a 4.0, they say 4.0. I challenge Darcy’s grades as they are posted.
Do we waste more of our money on insane military incursions and weapons systems than some of these other places? Yes. Maybe that is what morons like RUFUS are talking about when they use the word “better.”
Commentby LiberalRedneck— 4/7/06@ 12:01 am
LiberalRedneck where did you dream up that name or was your dad Johnny Cash? First, I cannot blame you for not understanding what a military is use for, and protecting this nation borders is a small part of their responsibility. Your schoolteacher and the failing school district can take credit for that shortcoming. Those weapon system you so gleefully dislike saves many of our soldiers and brings a conflict to and early closure. The enemy on the other hand loose in a big way, but it is more humane than watching them starve to death, like North Korea. I see you prefer to starve a nation to death rather than remove the villains, and provide the local citizens a multitude of options. You know the Jimmy Carter way of saving the world from mass murders i.e. Pol Pot. Then your definition of better would be licking the dog shit off someone’s boots more to your liking.
LardASSRedneck: You are the stooopid one. I am not JCH. I would love to be retired on the southern end of the big island Hawaii but alas I still have to work for a living.
I was in McKinney’s district working about a month ago. She is an embarassment to the intelligent people there who live and work in her district. When I asked people how they liked McKinney they broke up laughing. How does she keep getting elected? Her people want a black congresswoman even though she is a wayout loony moonbat. When another black woman, Debra Majette, ran against her, McKinney’s sorry ass was kicked out. Then Majette thought she could run for Senate and her ass was kicked. So McKinney regained her seat. The reason the black caucus was quiet and the donkocraptic leadership was quiet is McKinney is a congressional embarassment. This is why we can’t let librul donks like you LardASSRedneck lead Congress again. That’s why I elevate Cynthia McKinney to ASSHead status to demonstrate the best the loony left has to offer as lawmakers!
We know there were numerous warnings of the events to come on September 11th. . . . What did this administration know and when did it know it, about the events of September 11th? Who else knew, and why did they not warn the innocent people of New York who were needlessly murdered? . . . What do they have to hide?
MicKinney’s own words and more.
I elevate Cynthia McKinney as a prime example of a loony librul jerkoff. This is why you can’t lead the country! For example LardASSRedneck these are her supporters:
Harry Belafonte – Supporter of Fidel Castro- who supports Hugo Chavez who wants to escalate the barrel of oil to the stratosphere so YOU PAY at the pump!
Harry Belafonte – In 2002 called Secretary of State Colin Powell and then-NSA advisor and now Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice “house slaves”.
Actor Danny Glover [whom my wife and I met in San Francisco after he finished Lethal Meapon 4] – an avid supporter of Cuban dictator Fidel Castro.
Singer Issac Hayes whom McKinney spends $1000 of taxpayer money to fly him down to Atlanta to dedicate an office. Oops… when caught, she admitted she can’t do that!
Michael@130:
UW Law School grades are different. See http://www.law.washington.edu/.....ading.html for more information, and translation to numerical grades.
As to UW quality, (comment #124),take a look at US News:
http://www.usnews.com/usnews/e....._brief.php
UW ranks #27 and is in their top tier.
KLake: LardASSRedneck forgets the technology on the M1A1 Abrams tank was the reason we decimated Saddam’s T-55, T-72 and T-80 tanks in Gulf War 1 and we didn’t lose one one tank in ANY BATTLE!
LardASSRedneck forgets the technology on the M1A1 Abrams tank is the reason today when the Zarqawi attackers use specially designed rockets made in France and Russia (yes you libruls forgot about those illegally gotten weapons Saddam acquired from France and Russia during the UN Embargo didn’t you) to attack the tanks today, and no soldiers die in those attacks because of the tank armor.
LardASSRedneck forgets the technology on the F-15 Eagle Supersonic fighter is the reason when Saddam tried to send two French built F-1 Mirage planes into Saudi Arabia to attack, the only double kill in Gulf War 1 was by a Saudi pilot.
So LardASSRedneck Google this:”Saddam Weapons France Russia UN Embargo” “Results 1 – 10 of about 300,000 for Saddam Weapons France and Russia UN Embargo. (0.34 seconds)” and enjoy your reading!
IN JULY 2004, DURING THE COURSE of a little-publicized event while on a visit to Kazakhstan, Russian President Vladimir Putin made some unusual remarks: I can confirm that after the events of September 11, 2001, and up to the military operation in Iraq, Russian special services and Russian intelligence several times received..information that official organs of Saddam’s regime were preparing terrorist acts on the territory of the United States….
ts:
Putin said in 2004 that Saddam had planned terrorist attacks on America. New Iraqi documents suggest coolaberate his coments. [BUSH lied!!!!!!!!! BUSH lied!!!!!! Oh……..He didn’t????????? Never mind!!!!!!!!!!!!!]
RU @40 THE SAME PEOPLE GETTING OUT OF BED WITH YOUR WIFE
@134 Rofl. Washington University in St. Louis ranks higher that the University of Washington … in Washington.
@133 I know how to convert the two. I just have never heard any student refer to their grade in a class as an “A-“, its always a number like “3.3”.
what kind of law school gives grades like “A” or “A-“? I have only heard of students getting 3.5, 3.2, etc…
Have you heard of other law schools giving out 159-186 as grades? What about a “high pass” or “pass”? A 0-8? The schools with those grading scales are Chicago, Yale, and Harvard, respectively. Schools that give out letter grades include: UW, Columbia and Boston College, among others. It seems there is a lot of accuse first, do research later going on here.
Well, I can’t speak for how Chicago does it, but I can tell with certainty that UW grades look something like (by the way, I work full time in addition to carrying 15 credits/quarter, so some of my grades aren’t the best)

Greetings from Europe:
Well, it’s all over the news here; Bush LIED about the CIA leak. Turns out the Democrats were honest and republicans are shameful liars.
Like, JCH who claimed he never WASHED out of Naval Air.
It went something like this.
Libertarian, I never said I washed out of flight school. It’s all a figment of GBS’s vivid imagination. All my training was in (blah, blah, blah)”
“Windie, I washed out of Naval Air [bad GI] going mach 2 is not for the pussies of this world.”
That’s close enough, hope you got your fill Roger Rabbit. I’ll repost the whole story when I get back home.
Bush LIED about the CIA leak.
What did Bush say that was a lie?
Yes, but you attend the University of Washington undergrad. Do you also attend the University of Washington Law School? The Law School has adopted a different grading procedure than the undergraduate institution. I don’t know why this is so hard to understand. The grading examples cited above from Harvard, Yale, etc., are different from the grading procedures at the corresponding undergraduate colleges. The UW Law School also has a different honor code, exam system (for example, law students can take exams anywhere in the law school, on their computers, and don’t put their names on the exam), and course scheduling procedure. Did you know that at one time, the UW law school did not give out grades at all? I am sure UW undergrad still gave out numerical GPAs at that point. If this is still unclear, I suggest contacting someone at UW Law School’s academic services to inquire about the grade scale.
-The reason the black caucus was quiet and the donkocraptic leadership was quiet is McKinney is a congressional embarassment. This is why we can’t let librul donks like you LardASSRedneck lead Congress again.-
God, Puddy – McKinney is one out of 435 members. Nobody cares about her but you. So, what, you think she would get a committee chairmanship if the Dems took over the House? I mean, I know you’re dumb as a rock, but this is a pretty ridiculous notion
And I don’t ever see you obsessing over CONVICTED GOP CONGRESSMEN WHO TAKE BRIBES FROM MILITARY CONTRACTORS or MAJORITY LEADERS WHO RESIGN IN DISGRACE AFTER THEIR STAFF ARE INDICTED. No biggie for a hypocrite like you, right Puddy?
Top Democrat on Ethics Panel Vows to Stay
WASHINGTON – The senior Democrat on the House ethics committee said Friday he won’t step down from his post, contending there’s no truth to allegations by a conservative group that he violated financial disclosure laws.
Rep. Alan Mollohan (news, bio, voting record) of West Virginia accused Republicans of orchestrating the complaint by the congressional watchdog group and then using it to call for him to leave the ethics committee.
The National Legal and Policy Center said Friday it filed a complaint in February with federal prosecutors, alleging that Mollohan consistently undervalued assets on congressional financial reports and also omitted assets. Mollohan denied any wrongdoing…

-What did Bush say that was a lie? –
Michael, you need to leave your hole more often.
Or, just read the Bush quote I posted on this thread.
-First, I cannot blame you for not understanding what a military is use for, and protecting this nation borders is a small part of their responsibility. Your schoolteacher and the failing school district can take credit for that shortcoming. Those weapon system you so gleefully dislike saves many of our soldiers and brings a conflict to and early closure.-
Klake – I see you are still looking for that “escape goat” – as well as proof you ever made it past the sixth grade. Anyways, if you paid attention to these threads, you would see I have as many disagreements with anti-war pacifist types as I do with idiotic right wing sheep like yourself. I am a proud Scoop Jackson Democrat who supports military programs and military action WHEN OUR NATIONAL SECURITY IS AT STAKE. Problem with you partially retarded paranoid reactionary neocons is that it doesn’t take much to invent “the next threat.” Ever since the fall of communism, you stunted morons have been looking for a new threat to justify your highly unpopular ideas.
“Protecting our borders?” You mean like the non-existent Iraqi UAV’s that Saddam was supposedly going to fly over our country? Or the non-existent yellow cake he was trying to procure to nuke us? Fact is, your whole spiel is just a big lie, and the only people who believe it are living in trailer parks, reading Newsmax and still believing Pro Wrestling is real.
-You know the Jimmy Carter way of saving the world from mass murders i.e. Pol Pot. Then your definition of better would be licking the dog shit off someone’s boots more to your liking. –
Funny you should mention that, klake, since it was Richard Nixon’s bombing of Cambodia which pretty much created Pol Pot. And speaking of which, how’s about your man George W and his pre-emptive actions in Darfur? Looks like he’s taking a page out of the Carter handbook, no?
It’s always funny when right wingers pretend to care about human rights!
-I elevate Cynthia McKinney as a prime example of a loony librul jerkoff-
Jerkoffs have a tendency of attracting other jerkoffs, JCH.
You pretty much prove that theory every day here.
