It’s the union thugs vs the immigrant thugs.
I like union thugs better than Republithugs. In fact, where are the labor thugs when we reallly need them? The Republicans could benefit from some attitude adjustment.

Hey Stefan, I know you read this blog! (Yours is so pathetically boring, even you prefer HA.) Why are you keeping all the loot from your lawsuit against King County for yourself, instead of sharing it with the generous donors to your “legal action fund” who paid for the lawsuit?
Our good friend Richard Pope is once again on the cutting edge. Richard posted this @ SP:
Jim McDermott quit-claimed his house, which had been his sole and separate property, into community property with his wife Therese Hansen on January 25, 2006, and recorded the deed on February 10, 2006. Did he do this in order to keep his house from being sold to pay the debt?
Posted by Richard Pope at March 28, 2006 04:43 PM
McDermott only owes $178,000 on his house and it is assessed at $781,000 for property taxes. Looks like he did the property transfer to avoid paying the judgment. Why didn’t the plaintiffs’ lawyer recorded a certified copy of the copy with Dean Logan’s office, so that it would be a lien on McDermott’s house, and he couldn’t get away with this?

He ought to just say…….to try to avoid the Judgment!!!
But he won’t…..McDimWit is too arrogant to tell the truth!

MTR ANTI-HATRED VIGIL: DAY 2
On Sunday, March 26, Mark the Redneck claimed the following:
“Me? hate and intolerance? When? Give me an example.
No, you guys have cornered the market on hate and intolerance.”
Commentby Mark The Redneck— 3/26/06@ 3:38 pm
This comment was pretty cheeky, because MTR has proposed genocide far larger than that perpetrated by the Nazis:
“There are 6 billion people in the world. 2 billion of them are muslim. That means that all the rest of need to pair up and kill one of them. When we all do that, the problem will be solved. And it really is like a cancer… you hafta get every trace of it… every cell, or it will come out of remission with a vengeance. This also solves the global population problem you guys are so worried about, so we kill two birds with one stone.”
Commentby Mark The Redneck— 12/17/05@ 8:51 pm
How long will it take for MTR to repudiate or apologize for such hateful and intolerant words?

Silly Liberals, politics are for grown ups. Goldy’s last post about Rosenberg at SP took a quote out of context. Rosenberg defended the parents of the two teen girls who were at the party–14 and 15, a little young to be at an all night party if you ask me. Nevertheless, the emphasis wasn’t on the fact that the victims and partyers might have been “liberals”.
…There’ve been a number of shootings in Puget Sound claiming multiple victims, but the Capitol Hill killings of six early last Saturday morning were particulary horrific because the slain included two teenage girls: Melissa Lynn Moore, 14; and Suzanne Thorne, 15. Prayers to the families, friends and loved ones of all the victims.
Yes, the victims were of a group that often sported dyed hair, danced to electronica, and certainly in most instances were liberals, if they voted at all. Who cares? The issue here is not raves; every generation has had drug-and/or-booze-fueled dance parties of one sort or another. Usually, people don’t end up dead.
To an extent, the analysis needs to include a look at basic rules of trust in a sadly changed urban environment, where the “easy come-easy go” ethic no longer works. I would not let anyone into my house who wasn’t a trusted friend of a trusted friend. There is no point scapegoating the parents of the slain teens, who are surely more than kicking themselves for having allowed their kids to be out all night partying, in a house rented by naive twenty-somethings. A parent of one of the older victims underscores the point in the middle of this report…
Sorry Goldy–Rosenberg isn’t the fanatical right-wing conservative you make him out to be. In this instance, it’s easy to prove your a liar–and an awfully dumb one at that.
Let’s see, Congressman for Life McDermott has to pay a fine, republican standard bearer Deke Cunningham gets the longest prison sentence delivered to any Congressman on record. So a fine v. time. Who do you think is the bigger lawbreaker? Obviously the rethug. He got time. And he’s a hero to the Rich Popes of the world. I have forwarded a copy of Pope the Dope’s post to the Congressman’s office in case Jim wants to sue the punk for defaming him.
Folks the new sin cops are coming for you, so do not pick on our little liberals, please. You might hurt their feelings and they might cry and get depress.

One in 10 teenagers say they are victims of the rise of the cyber bullies
Experts have seen many strains of abuse on the web, ranging from rude emails to complex operations such as the manipulation of photos, sometimes taken secretly using mobile phones. Schools in Hertfordshire are confronting a particularly vicious online campaign, in which anonymous users are invited to discuss and attack named victims on website forums.
Like ordinary bullying, the online version can often be dangerous and sometimes even result in suicide among depressed teenagers. “There’s a wide spectrum when it comes to cyber bullying, and schools do need to come up to speed,” said Mary Louise Morris of Child net International. “I think there are psychological implications that can make it more disturbing than real-world bullying.”

Dlaw the high gas prices can be blame on Maria and the large parking lots it this state is not a problem. Hell the Mayor of Seattle is turning the city into a little Hong Kong by putting all the Socialist Democrats on bicycles. Now she would really be a hit if they legislate a new law that requires cities larger than 10.000 socialists would have to turn the street lights off after sunset. Then after sunrise, they can turn them back on to help with their bouts depression. Seattle will have to build their own windmill farms right there in downtown, and all the transmission lines cut coming from BPA and any other power generating source out side the city. Maria can get government grants to put all the waste treatment plants in the Green Lake area. Let us not forget to place the trash recycling plant in west Seattle now that will provide low paying job for the graduates from University of Washington. All drinking water and other uses of water shall come out of Lake Union and ban all bottle water use in the city. No one in the city will be allowed to use any drugs, because that would put heavy metals in the human waste. The waste will be used to fertilizer their food produces in their gardens. The only meat sources will be any rodents living in the city limits (rabbits, rats, raccoons, possums, and all creatures living in the zoo). You know only organic foods for all Socialists it could cause brain damage. The possible are endless on what this great Socialist Democrat could do for the Republic of Seattle and damn the rest of the State.

Because you record liens with the auditor’s office, not the elections office, dope! And you call yourself a lawyer?? Also … it’s a felony in this state to file bogus liens, and the lien wasn’t legal until the plaintiffs had a judgment, and they didn’t have a judgment until yesterday.

Can anyone here sum up in a paragraph what exactly it is that the dems want in an immigration bill? It seems to me that what they want is whatever is the opposite of what the repubs propose. That isn’t a policy.
Do you want completely open borders?
Do you want amnesty for those already here? Automatic citizenship?
Do you want to send everyone here home?
I’m confused. The repubs put out a bill that begins to convert those here illegal to some kind of legal status, and all we get is nonsense from the MExican govt to start mob rule here. And the dems are silent on the issue.

“Rog—Your a lawyer…. How does this McDimWit action look to you????? Commentby Mr. Cynical— 3/28/06@ 7:52 pm”
Looks like the height of hypocrisy to me, Cynical. Let’s put this in perspective:
1) A GOP congressman who supports wiretapping by a GOP president that plainly violates the Constitution and a federal law passed explicitly to prevent exactly what the GOP president did … is complaining about being wiretapped;
2) The tape that came into McDermott’s possession consisted of politicians discussing public business;
3) McDermott didn’t order, request, or participate in the wiretapping; he only made its contents available to a reporter.
Now, Cynical, let me ask you this: Do you, or do you not, believe nonconsensual recording of phone conversations should be illegal and/or civilly actionable? Currently, it’s illegal in our state, and under federal law. We have a president who not only thinks he has a right to violate that law, but also has a right to lie about it. This is a goose/gander deal. If you think McDermott should pay the judgment to Boehner, but defend Bush’s actions, you’re a hypocrite. You can’t have this both ways. We don’t have two different sets of laws in this country for citizens, and for powerful elites (or office holders).
Cynical, a law is like an egg. An egg is either broken, or it isn’t. There’s no such thing as a half-broken egg. You asked my opinion of what McDermott did. Here it is. McDermott probably did not have the intent to violate the federal wiretapping law, and since intent is a required element of this particular crime, he did not commit a crime. On the other hand, intent is not a prerequisite to a tort, and the court has ruled that he committed a tort. I would characterize it as an inadvertent tort, but lots of torts are inadvertent, and if a car accident is your fault, you pay regardless of whether you intended to get in an accident. That’s what this is — an accidental invasion of someone else’s legal rights.
Now, what to do about a president who intentionally invades the constitutional and statutory rights of American citizens? In Bush’s case, it’s clearly intentional, and its illegality is hardly debatable. (Despite the self-serving claims of administration officials that it’s within a “wartime” president’s legal authority, no impartial legal scholars agree with them, and many of the nation’s leading constitutional law experts have publicly stated there’s no legal basis for their argument.) Bush’s conduct is not only tortious, it’s criminal, and in addition, impeachable.
Now here’s my answer, Cynical. When you’re ready to get serious about the illegal conduct of the Bush administration — get back to me, and we’ll talk about McDermott.
Until then, fuck you! If you guys can do it, then so can our guys. We’re not going to have one set of rules for Republicans, and a different set of rule for Democrats.

Israel’s Likud falls from grace
BBC News website, Tel Aviv
It was a disappointing result for Likud Party supporters
For once, the Likud leader Binyamin Netanyahu appeared lost for words.
The former Israeli prime minister’s eyes darted through the convention centre as he stood in front of supporters and a small army of cameramen and photographers.
The once mighty Likud Party, the dominant force in Israeli politics for almost 30 years, had fallen to its knees.
“We have no doubt the Likud has suffered a tough blow,” Mr Netanyahu told the crowd.
“I intend to continue along the path we have only just begun in order to ensure this movement is rehabilitated and takes its rightful place in the nation’s leadership.”
State of shock
A pall of stunned silence had descended on the group of about 200 supporters, before Mr Netanyahu’s speech, when the initial election exit polls were announced on Israeli television.
The largest party in the last parliament, Likud was predicted to be in fourth place by the exit polls. Worse was to come in the actual count, when it slumped to fifth, just four seats ahead of Gil, a group advocating a better deal for old age pensioners.
Nobody anticipated a stellar election performance, but nobody expected this.
Thanks for the insight Rog–
I do have a question for headless lucy, rujax and clueless however……
A cow, a horse and a deer all eat the same stuff—–grass. Yet the deer excretes little pellets, the cow turns out a big flat patty and the horse produces muffins. Why do y’all suppose that is?
I am amazed at the level of vitriol here. I don’t quite understand what the moderator’s level of disgust has to be before he deletes some of this hate-speech. If it’s supposed to be like this, I guess that’s cool, but I don’t see how all this right-wing junk is useful to educating folks about the issues.
Here’s how I see the issues discussed here so far:
1. Jim McDermott lost his case, sadly. He has to shell out big cash he doesn’t have to a multimillionaire tobacco lobbyist because he dared to expose Boehner’s criminal activity to the press. I feel his pain, because it takes real courage to try to be a Congressman and retain your integrity when millions of slush payments are flying all around you. McDermott is intensely vulnerable to this kind of stuff because he hasn’t used the office to make himself a multi-millionaire the way Boehner and all the other Repugs have. God bless him if he can keep his house – you know Tom DeLay isn’t gonna lose his fortune from this mess.
2. France – I am sick and tired of hearing ignorant assholes rail against the French. They are a democratic country that has come so much farther than we have in terms of workers’ rights. What these kids are protesting is the fact that the labor protections for workers are being stripped from anyone under the age of 26. When workers get laid off in France, they have a little severance pay and enough time to find a job. All their workers should have that benefit, not just the adults. We should have the same benefit as well. Also, the idiot that named union thugs as the problem doesn’t know shit. A thug is a thug, and just because he holds a union card doesn’t make him a union leader. Most union activists understand that our strongest tools are the general strike and nonviolent civil disobedience. French labor is using those tools now to force the government to back down and restore the rights to young workers. Don’t blame unions for the actions of a few pissed off poor people. We have more than our share of those guys here.
3. Maria Cantwell sucks. And Obama is not the leader the progressive movement needs to win this country back. A real African-American leader would have come out of Garfield and met with Cantwell’s opponents, ir invited them to a special meeting to find out what their needs are. This guy’s just another big DP machine guy, too afraid to censure the President or come up with a sensible foreign trade and immigration policy.
My prediction, Cantwell loses by five hundred votes, and Dixon’s campaign and the Green Party are blamed for it. But we the people in organized labor will know that Cantwell herself is responsible, for her totally misguided votes on Republican “free trade” and illegal wiretapping. This President has to be impeached and the whole administration has to go to jail, and these weak-willed Democrats won’t go the distance.
If a Repug has to win this seat to send the DLC a solid message, then so be it. Organized labor has been shit on for far too long. NAFTA and GATT (which put us in the WTO) have destroyed this nation’s national sovereignty and dramatically increased outsourcing and illegal immigration (up hugely since NAFTA’s passage)
If Dems really want to win this seat, they will join Wilson’s campaign and try like hell to move Maria to the left. Only then will we be able to preserve this important seat.
And I agree with whoever it was that said that Maria doesn’t deserve credit for saving ANWR. It’s already lost.
Come to The American Peoples’ Congress and sound off on these and other issues!
And before you come back at me with some crapola about catching “terrorists,” let me clarify what the liberal complaints about Bush’s unconstitutional/illegal wiretapping are all about.
Despite what right-wing liars say, liberals are not sympathetic to terrorists. We want them killed, caught, jailed, or whatever, as much as you fucking self-appointed “patriots” do. This isn’t about “terrorists” at all.
It’s about Republican thugs harassing their critics and opponents. We see this same old shit every time a right-wing president gets into office. Nixon did it. Reagan did it. Now Bush is doing it.
We know FBI agents are infiltrating peace groups. Not because they’re a threat to national security, but because they’re perceived threat to the GOP warmongers’ political security, or maybe just for the hell of it — because GOP warmongers don’t like peace, and don’t like people who prefer peace to war.
We don’t trust you fuckers. We know damn well this wiretapping is being abused. I would bet money the Bushie thugs are wiretapping people who have criticized the president or his policies. There’s no question at all in our minds this is going on, and this is exactly why Bush refuses to seek easy-to-get warrants from a court in which no colorably legitimate request ever gets denied. The only question is whether they’re going to get caught doing it. Nixon got caught, and would have been impeached if he hadn’t resigned, back in a time when Republican congressmen still had enough decency, integrity, and sense of self-preservation to impeach a president of their own party whose actions were a direct attack on the liberties of us all.
This isn’t about wiretapping terrorists. It’s about wiretapping American citizens on American soil who have done nothing more than disagree with the party in power. I say hang the bastard. He’s a tyrant, not a constitutional president.
I do have a question for headless lucy, rujax and clueless however……
A cow, a horse and a deer all eat the same stuff—–grass. Yet the deer excretes little pellets, the cow turns out a big flat patty and the horse produces muffins. Why do y’all suppose that is?
So, Roger, the new rule is we only find one side guilty if we can find someone on the other side guilty as well? McDermott is off the hook for something proven in the courts because the case against Bush hasn’t been made or tried yet?
Are you arguing that Mcdermott accidentally received the tapes and then inadvertently gave them to a reporter at the TImes? I guess you can plead incompetence, but i don’t think it makes Jim look better.

Any way you shape it, it’s still “shit.”
Aaaaaand … any way you twist, spindle, spin, or shape Republican lies … it’s still shit.
I can’t wait for you losers to make a guess at this one.
C’mon, why do you think???
Tahoma Activist – getting large amounts of people to rally in the streets is a form of mob rule. It is an act of intimidation. The unions in France have been using this tactic for years and it works there. The govt gives in, and the country is now a basket case. On any given day, there is a strike by one union or another. What a disfunctional backwater.
Unemployment is very high, compared to the US. And it is worse because those at the top have their jobs permenantly, and the rest are left to live off the state. Those protesting the new law are being assaulted by those who have no jobs in the first place. And the police hose them down, as their only means to deal with it.
Boy, do we need to pattern ourselves after that enlightened society!

You must be new here.
HA is a liberal blog, and itt isn’t moderated or censored. Anybody can post whatever they want.
Sooooo … rightwing trolls and at least one paid GOP operative (Kevin Carns, a.k.a. “AngryVoter” and other screen names) flock here.
Probably their original intent was to disrupt Washington state’s most popular liberal blog. However, the liberals on HA aren’t wimps. We dish their shit right back at them, with interest!
Maybe that’s become the attraction. Occasionally an unsuspecting righty wanders in here, is caught off balance by the name-calling and vitriol we fling back at the rightmongers — and flees. A chickenshit named “John MacDonald” comes to mind. But the regular trollfucks know what they’re in for, and keep coming back for more, so they must like it or something. In any case, we enjoy dishing it out to them, because (a) their side has been doing it to us, and it’s high time they got it back, and (b) they’re so deserving of anything and everything we do to them, plus (c) deep down in their black hearts, they are unpatriotic America-hating neo-Nazi shitsuckers.
Does that answer your question???
58
“Tahoma Activist – getting large amounts of people to rally in the streets is a form of mob rule.”
So what? The Bush administration is little more than mob rule. It sure as hell doesn’t let the Constitution or laws get in its way. If Bush can blow up whole countries, why can’t French kids break a few windows and overturn some cars? Why should Republicans have a monopoly on mob violence? Republicans want a monopoly on every fucking thing.
You wanna see mob rule? I’ll show you mob rule! How about the RNC-orchestrated riot at the Miami-Dade canvassing board? What do you think of trying to tip a presidential election by bussing screaming, fist-waving, punks across state lines to disrupt the duly appointed election officials from carrying out their duties? Thuggery and mob rule put Bush into the White House. He’s an illegitimate president in every sense of the term. And you’re worried about mob rule in France??? Give us a fucking break.
Wanna see a photo of mob behavior? Here ya go. http://talkleft.com/new_archives/007851.html
Notice how the righties want to do everything in their power to sidestep Rog’s question? If wiretapping by a Congtressman is illegal then it is illegal when the Pretend President does it. But that’s just TOO much truth for the inbred right wing morons.
55
“So, Roger, the new rule is we only find one side guilty if we can find someone on the other side guilty as well?”
No, the new rule is you fuckers either start respecting our Constitutional rights and obeying this country’s laws, or there’s going to be civil war.
57 – I’ll pass on that one BOZO, I’m too busy working to make you irrelevant – again.
I’m worried about mob rule in Los Angeles. That was an act of intimidation staged by the Mexican govt. The point was to scare congress into not acting to solve the problem. We are not a subsidiary of mexico. I am as much in favor of immigration as the next person. But I want them here legally, with permission. Mexico wants them here however because it is the only way their govt can exist. We close the border, the country falls in to chaos and the govt will get tossed out and probably killed.
But, don’t worry you pretty little heads over this. Just keep on with bush derangement syndrome and ignore that there is a country to govern.
I do have a question for headless lucy, rujax and clueless however……

What makes YOU think you are qualified to discuss Politics, Iraq or much of anything WHEN YOU DON’T KNOW SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!

What a SUCKER you are clueless you dumbass!!!
Actually, civil war is Newt Gingrich’s idea. To quote that luminary:
“ … this is a civil war, that … has to be fought with the scale and duration and savagery that is only true of civil wars. While we are lucky in this country that our civil wars are fought at the ballot box, not on the battlefields, nonetheless it is a civil war.”
Idiot @ 66
Take a closer look at Bush’s guest worker program – the plan is to allow U.S. companies to import workers from ANY country, i.e. who will work the cheapest.
It is a plan to expand the cheap labor benefits that agribusiness, meat-packing, construction and menial service work contractors have enjoyed for years – to even more sectors of the economy.
It is a plan to LEGALLY IMPORT POVERTY. It’s going to fail.
Get lost, troll.
67 – Wow BOZO/Oink, you really showed your knowledge of politics there with that post.
I’ll credit you with one thing BOZO – you do know a lot about SHIT and I do mean the stuff that excretes out the exit orifice. Keep on working on that Phd in that subject.
In the meantime I’ll be making you irrelevant.
OK, we’ve established that the immigration bill under consideration now is a non-starter with the folks on this blog, mostly. Does anyone have an idea on what you think should be done? Does anything need to be done?
Hey righties, your hero Jackoff Jack just got the first of several prison sentences handed to him. Nearly six years. And that’s just the start. Man I sure am glad you guys restored honor and dignity to the federal government. Yeah right!
Clueless – too late, they are already here, you moron. Bush is trying to figure out how to make the process legal and trackable.
This is true Bush derangement syndrome – shout down any and every idea from a repub, whether you agree with it or not. But don’t propose anything in its place. Just yell and scream that the other side is a bunch of mobsters out to get you.
There is a vaccuum of leadership on the left. If Reid or Pelosi had any idea what they were doing, they would have a policy presented to the public. Don’t tell me they don’t have a voice because they are in the minority. That is crap. They have a forum – the MSM trips all over themselves every time one of them utters the stupidest of words. Like Hillary saying the repubs are against religion.
When the left grows up and figures out what it believes in, you will easily be back in power. But the right has nothing to worry about because you all aren’t figuring it out.
The Kennedy/McCain bill I hear is much better although immigration advocates say they don’t like a few points in it.
Idiot troll @ 73
Why are they here fool? Who hired them?
The Sennsenbrenner/Tancredo garbage is pure racist. It is expensive and bound to fail yet it plays well with the extra chromosome crowd.
The Bush plan is a multi-millionaire’s wet dream – a plan to assemble a labor pool THAT CAN’T VOTE!
The first is just plain stupid, the second is pure Rovian EVIL!
Take your talking points somewhere else.

There’s no problem here that can’t be solved by a good labor organizer.
So Roger, your idea is to have the workers from Mexico and other countries organize into unions for collective bargaining purposes. Thence, they would receive higher wages and benefits for their labors.
Wouldn’t this negate the advantage of hiring undocumnented workers?
Oops! Sorry about misspelling “undocumented.”
Roger and Gang there is still hope for you lost souls in Seattle. Check it out!

Catholic leaders focus on positive to combat drop in priests and nuns

WASHINGTON – Picking at her black fingernail polish and fiddling with her shirt and shoulder-length blond hair, 16-year-old Chelsea Sledgeski seems every bit the typical teen.
Like her friends on the basketball team or her classmates hanging around Anne Arundel County’s new malls and subdivisions, she has pressures: divorced parents, an injury that landed her on the team bench and an argument she just had with her father about her report card.
In the past few months, though, she has found a salve. It sets her apart from her family, her neighbors, even her friends at Our Lady of the Fields Catholic Church, where she stood beaming at a packed youth Mass one recent Sunday night.
klake – I find your comments the easiest to ignore on this board.

Francoise you do not come from around here, your English is a lot better than the Socialist in Seattle. You are little sharper than Roger the Rabbit, but do not let him fool you. Roger is our next greatest General who is going to free Tibet without firing a shot. The real problem with the folks on the left is they cannot step out of their own box and see the world from a different vantage point. They remember what Bill Clinton did to Yugoslavia when he was in office. We the USA toasted a country because of ethic cleansing and we were lead to believe that we will be there for a short time period. Now after what has happen last weekend demonstration you could get a repeat of that in the southwest part of this country. That part of the country could ask the United Nation to separate that area so they can rule that new country as their own. You know like Kosovo when the Albanians took over the country from the Serbs. What the President is trying to do is the first step in many to prevent a civil war in the future. The real problem lies in Mexico when the government does not educate the poor and they have no net worth in their own country. The dream they are looking for is across the border and the risks are minimal to make you dream come true. The greatest fear for the Socialist Democrats is that they will become Republics and expand that dream. The Jessie Jackson fraud will not work on them because of their culture.

Two illegals, GBS and a Republican taxpayer all sat around and desided to vote on who should pay for lunch. The vote was 3 to 1 that the Republican should pay. The Republican decided to just leave. The illegals and GBS were very upset and decided that the Republican was mean and racist. [hehe]

Glad to be of service Clueless, it does require some mental capacity to think and reading is not one of yours. Abuja – Shouts of ”Allah Akbar!” (God is greatest) rent the air in parts of Kaduna, northern Nigeria on Wednesday as a four-minute eclipse turned daylight into darkness. Many residents ran indoors before the eclipse started. Some did so for fear of looking at the phenomenon directly and damaging their eyes. Others did so in the belief that it was a satanic development. /break/ ”Why Nigeria? Why Kaduna, if not because our sins are legion?” he asked, even after he was told that other countries would also experience it. [GBS!!! Stupid Liberals!!! Gay Bob From Boeing!! Roger Rabbit!@! Roger and Gang I got another letter from the DCCC today, why have you not contributed to their cause. I know you are to cheap, no, now I know you are still paying for that monorail you voted for many years back. Belly up to the bar and pay generosity for it could be many years of Republican rule. Right General Roger Rabbit, the greatest hindsight warrior in the world and will be freeing Tibet very soon.
Dear Klake,
There should be no doubt in your mind.
Democratic candidates are facing a Republican attack machine that is gearing up for the most vicious, malicious and massively-funded assault in the history of American politics.
Karl Rove knows what the stakes are in 2006. And, I think you do too.
That is why I know that you understand how important it is that the DCCC meet its first quarter fundraising goals. We have just three days until we have to report our first quarter fundraising totals, and you can guess that Rove and Co. are doing whatever it takes to fill their candidates’ coffers. We need your help to compete with the GOP’s special interest-funded war chest

Go to your doctor. You have a tumor in your brain.

You’re so incoherent you can’t even be offensive, which is sad.
Stop wasting your time on blogs and get an MRI.
Rabbit Pellet: So is McDimwitt a convicted felon now?
Drinking Liberally… with Jim McDermott
by Goldy, 08/09/2005, 3:26 PM
Seattle’s very own Rep. Jim McDermott will be stopping by Drinking Liberally, which meets tonight (and every Tuesday), 8PM at the Montlake Ale House, 2307 24th Avenue E.
The best post on ASSes about McDimwitt:
I don’t resent eastern Washington their congressman-for-life. After all, we have Jim McDermott.
Comment by Roger Rabbit —; 10/11/05 @ 12:20 pm – Yes you do. Convicted Felon?
Rabbit: Is having “Jim McDermott” like having venereal disease??
Comment by Mr. Cynical — 10/12/05 @ 6:19 am
Now the others!
And Seattle is the home of the McDermott Wing of the Dem Party. So, now we’re even. Both parties have their nutballs and gadflies. You just have enough “true believers” to get yours elected.
Because I said that Seattle elects a kook like McDermott in George Romero-esque fashion every time?
Comment by Mark — 8/30/05 @ 11:04 am
“Unlike Jim McDermott, Tom Delay has not been found guilty yet.”
What has Jim McDermott been found guilty of, Michael? Last time I checked, he hadn’t even been charged with anything.
Comment by Roger Rabbit — 1/24/06 @ 5:40 pm
Well Rabbit Pellet, looks like this has changed!!! There couldn’t be any better outcome! McDimwitt got his comeuppance! He should apologize to Gingrich!
