This is important. We can’t let people like this decide who’s going to run our country:
“Ted Nugent is now pondering whether the world would have been better off had the Confederate States … been victorious in the Civil War. The … outspoken conservative activist writes in a new op-ed for The Washington Times of his fundamental fear of … a government with a social safety net. Triggered by Chief Justice John Roberts voting to uphold President Obama’s Affordable Care Act … Nugent says, ‘… I’m beginning to wonder if it would have been best had the South won the Civil War … limited government is dead.’ A longtime critic of the president — he received a visit from the Secret Service after making allusions to beheading Obama and members of his administration while at an NRA convention in April — Nugent blasts Medicare, Social Security and Medicaid as parts of what he calls a full-on socialist state.”

Roger Rabbit Commentary: This infantile yahoo must be desperate for attention, but that’s beside the point. I don’t want people like him running my country! The only way to prevent that is to vote. So if you’re not registered, do it now! Every vote matters.
Roger Rabbit spews:
If people like him want to re-negotiate the main issue of the Civil War, let’s do it — let the red states go! I’m tired of subsidizing them. I’m tired of kissing their wingnut asses. They can have their own country and run it as they please — no Social Security, no Medicare, no unions, no safety net, no minimum wage, no nothing — as long as they stay the hell out of our country. It’ll be so much more pleasant around here without them.

Norm Dicks ran for office after the Republican that represented the 6th CD before him had to step down do a possible game law violation. It turned out he was innocent and he was still forced out. Nugent’s been convicted TWICE on game law violations and they still listen to him. My how the Republicans have fallen.
Republicans don’t give a fuck about the rule of law,

Feeling pleased that I’m doing my part. My Sis moved in with me this last Easter, her Daughter also moved to south WA.
Was pressing Sis to register to vote (she’s a staunch Dem from AZ) and DANG! When she went to get her driver’s license changed they simply asked ‘Do you want to register to vote?’ YEP, instantaneous done deal.
Now, her daughter came up for a visit, had already changed her DL. Kid admitted she had never voted before (Huh?) but she would go register. Like I’ve been telling her, that she has many gay friends & this is an important election. But she’s busy and probably wouldn’t bother.
So, last time she came up I pulled up the website that Carl posted. Told her hey, you don’t have to go anywhere just do it now & here at my bedrm computer and they will simply mail you the ballot. (Gosh my bedroom was a mess!!) So, I’m hoping my Sis & niece’s Dem roommate will help guide her to vote for Obama at the same time, as well as a No vote for McKenna. I’ve been giving input but don’t want to seem overbearing.
