Now that Idaho Senator Larry Craig has finally been discovered hiding in his closet, it’s becoming more and more obvious that there’s a segment of the Republican Party whose main motivation in politics appears to be making laws that are an attempt to keep themselves from their particular dysfunctional behaviors. We saw it with Mark Foley, who actually introduced legislation to punish the kind of behavior he engaged in. And strongly anti-gay Republicans like Ed Schrock and Jim West have supported and even pushed anti-gay legislation as they sat quietly in their closets.
As David Kurtz points out here, a website for the Idaho Values Alliance contains a remarkably familiar warning about what homosexuals do underneath a picture of family values champion Senator Craig (emphasis mine):

Let me just say, the charges against Senator Craig seem kind of thin–I mean, it’s not like he did a whole lot. If this had been the only incident in an otherwise unblemished life, I’d cut him some slack. But it isn’t.
A month before this arrest, the (presumably Idaho) Statesman was ivestigating rumors about homosexual doin’s by Craig, and they interviewed the Senator himself. DUring the interview, they played Craig an audio tape of a man claiming that he and Craig had sex in the Union Station (Washington DC) restroom. Like the Minnesota airport restroom, the Union Station restroom is known as a place where men can find anonymous sex.
That is among a number of other rumors and allegations they were investigating. I just think it’s weird that these strange closted gay Republicans are the most anti-gay of them all, legislatively speaking.

It’s a well-known phenomenon in the gay community, and it’s a form of denial. You can see the same thing in some forms of religious self-denial. It’s seriously annoying to gays, who generally hold that if you’re gonna hate ’em, at least don’t be a practicing closet case.

A short trip to SP today was informative. I’m with Headless Lucy that this guy is another personality of the group to which Bill Cruchon belongs. The stylistic similarities are pronounced.

That’s not gonna work. I, and lots of others, have dynamic ip’s. All I have to do to change mine is reset the router, and presto, I’m somebody else.

What if you and I and “x” all show up on the same provider, dolt?
If your IP address is located on Mars, which seems increasingly possible, there might be some value, otherwise it establishes nothing, which is pretty consistent with your postings, now that I think about it…..

O(K Marvin, you may well be correct. I never saw a post wherein you stated you are from Los Angeles. Assuming that you DO know where you are, and that the Cruchon organism is, indeed, located here, then obviously IP address would establish that.

I’ve only been posting here for a short time. I didn’t know what admin rights I had until that came up. I saw Darryl doing some things and thought that I had the same rights as him. I don’t. He and Goldy have more admin rights than the rest of us.
As for Bill Cruchon, I see him at SP. He’s a local guy.
