Making the OSC investigation into a partisan conflict helps to encourage all voters and keeps them engaged in what they perceive to be a partisan battle.
It’s all bullshit. Obviously. This is a Republican launched OSC probe of Republican corruption, influence peddling, election tampering, and conspiracy. But declaring that plain truth discourages the trailerbillies, makes the angry racist PornHub Party base less likely to participate in mid terms, and reduces partisan engagement with the story on both sides. That’s why even so-called “liberal” media outlets like HuffPo and almost all others persist in this kind of bullshit reporting.

Media is the problem. Specifically a media more interested in presenting public policy issues in terms of partisan identity than in terms of ideology. Partisan identity is better for business. It gets people more jacked up and engaged with the reporting. It’s the secret sauce that created FOX News and that is now being emulated by almost all other media companies.
We’ve probably never seen a better example than the OSC investigation.
There is really nothing partisan about the investigation itself. Comey – a lifelong Republican – while tilting hard against Clinton, approved the initial inquiries but kept a very tight leash on it. He kept the President and the AG informed, but they essentially recused themselves and kept the whole thing at arms length, even when very troubling reports began to emerge. Then Trump (Republican) fired Comey for refusing to halt the investigation, Sessions (Republican) lied to his Senate colleagues and agreed to recuse himself, appointed his DAG to run the show, and Rosenstein (Republican) appointed Mueller (Republican). Even Stephanie Clifford and Karen McDougal are Republicans. There are just no Democratic Party fingerprints on the investigation itself, despite all the crazed conspiracy preaching from America’s trailer parks. It’s a Republican investigation, supported by a Republican Congress, routinely funded and authorized by a Republican Congress, and targeting a whole bunch of Republicans.
But outside the investigation the partisanship has run amok. Partly that is owing to Democrats grasping for a way to rationalize the failure in November of 2016. Partly it is owing to a desire on the part of largely powerless Democrats to feel some sense of agency and power in opposing Trump. But mostly it is because the media feed off the partisanship and prefer to report on the investigation in those terms.
If there are any “sides” in this investigation they are the Trump dominated Republican party versus the rule of law. But presenting the story in those terms will not tend to engage media consumers the way the partisanship angle will. Media executives exist in a corporate pressure cooker driven by eyeball metrics and ad dollars. Channing Dungey’s decision to cancel Roseanne is no more driven by ethics than her decision to green-light the re-boot in the first place. ABC Entertainment’s “Heartland Strategy” was about deliberately appealing to an audience of retrograde hooting meathead racist assholes. In other words, it was Stephen Bannon’s strategy.
But even a “balanced” appeal to a modern form of partisanship that resides more in identity than it ideology will destroy our democracy. Democrats still have the authority (barely perhaps) to claim an underpinning of ideology. But we will lose it if we submit to the media tropes and false narratives surrounding these issues. Sure, Repukes are the immediate problem that must be dealt with in November. But the longer term risk is presented by the corporate controlled media who, should Republicans lose in the mids and in 2020, will do everything possible to rehabilitate their racist, un-American identity and pretend that none of this shit ever happened.

Yep, for Comcast you can purchase a block of five static IP Addresses at a time and you pay for those each month. You can purchase more as needed in blocks of five. For home systems you can get a static IP Address or even two (which you pay for) or you can use their built in DHCP system which supplies a system generated on from Comcast central.
Comcast agreed with Puddy. If you arbitrarily put any IP Address into your router’s WAN IP Address you could choose one that another system already implemented and if there is a collision then both systems will shutdown their IP interfaces by rule:
