Yay! Go Tacoma!
Anything to deflect from what is really happening!
Tuesday, March 30, 2010
Support for candidates from both parties surged following Congress’ passage of the national health care plan, but Republican candidates still hold a seven-point lead over Democrats in the latest edition of the Generic Congressional Ballot.
Oba-MaoCare has polarized America.
His own Strong Approval is up to 30%.
But his Strong Disapproval is 43%.
Oba-Mao is a divider.
Anti-reality, anti-fact. What are we going to go back to Republicans who JUST RAN this country into the ground for 8 years just a few months ago? YOUR last attempt ended with a President with HALF the approval rating Obama has now. Your same little Republican pollster gave YOUR last President TWICE the negative ‘approval index’ difference. So Obama has a LONG LONG LONG way to fall to just MATCH your horrible party. And while you don’t understand politics, half of Obama’s “disapproval” is from Democrats unhappy he hasn’t been liberal ENOUGH. But you’re too dumb to know that and just assume all disapproval is because we want another catastrophically bad Republican in office. Maybe Mitt Romney…you know, who signed into law mandatory health insurance in Mass. LOL LOL LOL LOL. Good luck running on that Mitt!
Just no sense of reality. Hell, think about SAINT REAGAN (god bless his magic soul). What were HIS magically perfect approval ratings:
Ronald Reagan January 1983 – 35%
P.S. Ronald Reagan WON a 2nd term after having 35% approval ratings 2 YEARS into his first term. ROTFLMAO. Arguing with Republicans is like taking candy from a baby. I almost feel bad doing it.
Or maybe they’re right and Obama is the anti-christ here to take our guns and convert us to Communism and Islam. Or maybe the Reps are nuts.
2 – I guess Cynical is convinced the country is hungry for stimulus RNC-style..
Tacoma cartoonists are full of WIN!
Looking forward to the McKenna Horsey cartoon.
Looks like an RNC staffer is taking the fall for the little trip to the Hollywood club. While MSNBC and the Seattle Times keep referring to “an unnamed staffer”, other sources earlier referred to the staffer as Alison Meyers, director of the “Young Eagles”, a group which charges $7,500 a head for membership and “access” to politicians and policy experts. Of course, their vision of “young” is “under 45″. Apparantly this was the group which was being hosted on that excursion.
Who is this RR Anderson fella? A Tacoman… Seems fishy. Tacomans make me nervous.
The majority of people want health care reform. If they think they don’t it’s just because they’re being lied to. The division is masterfully fabricated. If we could achieve any sort of real dialogue in our politics in this country this fact would be easy to see.
Instead, we’re destined to just stick “Mao” and “Communist” and “Socialism” into witty one-liners and call that discourse. We seem content with the notion our leaders and our “media” can simply MAKE S*** UP and call that debate.
The health care discussion – and all of our political discussions – have become totally removed from reality. At this rate – health care bill or not – there’s no hope for any of us. We’ve become ignorant, pop culture savages living off Pepsi and fear.
Maybe everyone DOESN’T deserve health care?
Mr. Driscoll, what is reality?
So here’s what it costs to be a “Young Eagle”, and what you get for your money:
Young Eagle Program
Why does this remind me of Amway, for some reason?
Oba-Mao ? What’s that? Sounds like maybe “mr cynical” has something stuck in his throat.
On subject: McKenna’s law suit has no merit. It’s simply a political ploy to gain attention. It backfired on him and he’ll never again be elected to office in Washington State.
@2 Hey goatfucker, how come you didn’t think divisive and polarizing politics was a problem during the 8 years you guys did it?
@10: Yeah, but that doesn’t mean the damn thing still won’t go all the way to the Supreme Court.
Tacomains make you nervous? Could that be because we still know how to build stuff, weld, grow stuff & catch fish, in other words we can still do real work?
I thought Mr. Psycho was a Montana sheepfucker. Though I guess he’d never pass up a used goat from ButtPutty.
goldenjew, you are incting violence by showing a cartoon with an axe in it.
Matt Driscol hurls: “If they think they don’t it’s just because they’re being lied to.”
Well damn, its a good thing you are here to tell us why we dont want this particular health version of health care theft…
What would we do without people like you who “know whats best” for the rest of us.
LMFAO….Ricky Martin comes out of the closet and admits he is a peter-puffer….
Maxie @ 17
So the fuck what?
Max, it is ok, you too can come out.
Ricky Martin comes out of the closet and admits he is a peter-puffer….
“limp-wristed”,”carpet-munching” and now “peter-puffer”. Interesting…
And little max the coward is perhaps acting out due to his closeted/self-loathing condition?
30 years from now when we move to a single payer system, Max will be one of those old farts yelling “keep your damn hands off my health care insurance!!!! Ooops, I just crapped my pants.”
Maxie should stock up on Depends. For all of us.
The election will not be about health care at at all. It will be about jobs. If the job situation is better, Democrats will be magically lots more popular.
By “theft,” do you mean the Congress passing a bill that exercises its Constitutional powers to levy taxes and regulate interstate commerce, by a majority in both Houses passing a bill for the president to sign into law? That kind of “theft?”
You mean… nevermind…
Add this to your “collection”!
If the job situation is better
Those are the magic six words between now and November… THE DUMB BUNNY has issues with “IF”
