Good news for competency in office came Thursday when Elections director Sherril Huff’s residency was confirmed by the King County Canvassing Board, allowing her to continue her run for the office she now holds.

One nameless blog continues to carp on about the unfairness of it all, but who cares what a guy who can’t get over losing an election four years ago thinks about it anyway

    dutch spews:

According to latest reports, the inauguration of President Obama will cost the tax payer between 160 to 170 Million Dollar. That is a lot of money and way more than the last Inauguration of President Bush Cost (50 Mill). Now here is something I would like to see Obama do: Take the oath of office and then declare: Let’s go to work, I’ll be in my office at 1 and expect everyone else to do so. Use the funds to help the economy, bail out some home owners, build roads, you name it.
Wasting 170 Mill on inauguration balls and other crap is not sending the message the nation needs.
If he’d do this…I would even vote for him the next time.

“Saudi cleric Sheikh Abdul Aziz Al-Sheikh says it’s OK for a girl aged 10 or 12 to get married.”

“It is incorrect to say that it’s not permitted to marry off girls who are 15 and younger,” Sheikh Abdul Aziz Al-Sheikh, the kingdom’s grand mufti, said in remarks quoted Wednesday in the regional Al-Hayat newspaper. “A girl aged 10 or 12 can be married. Those who think she’s too young are wrong and they are being unfair to her.”

Let’s go to work, I’ll be in my office at 1 and expect everyone else to do so. Use the funds to help the economy, bail out some home owners, build roads, you name it.

That’s what Obama’s been saying and that’s why we voted for him.

I’m not sure, but I don’t think tax payers on on the hook for the entire 170M. Either way, it’s a hell of a lot of money that could be used for other and better things.

After observing Barack and Michelle together in several interviews, it is my opinion that he is not in love with her. He may have some degree of love for her, but he is not in love with her. And it’s obvious that he is not sexually excited by her. She, on the other hand, is in love with him, but I’m sensing some jealously issues.

My analysis of the monster truck video…

As the monster truck was driving over the car, a piece of metal from the car got lodged or stuck into the tire. Then when the truck floored it, and spun its wheels, the metal piece flew out into the stands.

You heard it from me first!

    WeBentOverTheGOP spews:

When we were bending over the GOP and teaching them that they don’t matter – that they are fools – that they are punks – and that they are complete cowards, they didn’t notice that we also happened to elect a popular President.

The predictable screaming, moaning and crying from the right wing assholes about the festivities of this week are laughable. You idiots try this stuff every time. It’s all you have left. And it no longer works. Take a look at the election. You were fucking slaughtered!

It’s also funny that the right gets concerned about deficits – yet they ran up the biggest deficit in US history under “STUPID” aka George Bush. And that doesn’t count the Trillion Dollars wasted in Iraq.

When the right cries about deficits let’s remind them we don’t care what they think. We kicked their ass. It’s time for them to do what they do best. Bend over and be laughing stocks!

  13. 14

    WeBentOverTheGOP spews:

The pain, agony and suffering the right wing fools will suffer this week has made them look as they are – weak, impotent, spineless little girls. Their tragedy is America’s joy. As each special event leading to the replacement of STUPID (GW BUSH) takes place, the right wingers cringe a little more, deflect a little more, lie a little more and yes – suffer a little more. And I FUCKING LOVE IT!

We’ve made laughing stocks out of the GOP. We bent them over and taught them that traitors never win.

It’s going to be a great week. I hope all the right wing idiots hang out here to be reminded of their crushing defeat.

To get them, I went through the hoops required by Alameda County, CA and she with Cook County, IL and got certified copies.

Is a website made by Phillip Berg the democrat attorney that is bringing forth all the facts and the lawsuits.

    WorldNetDaily is another one.

    My thoughts on the subject.

Why not show the people of America that you are a citizen, why buy alot of expensive lawyers, have files closed,10 or 15 dollars could prove it.But mr.obama doesn’t think it’s important to have to prove himself to anyone. But until he does he, in my books will be a userper, and anything he does will be not be legal according to The Constitution of the United States of America.

  47. 64

    Harry Tuttle spews:

So you’re saying that if some crackpot challenges my registration as a voter, say, that I have to prove that I am a citizen?

That flies in the face being innocent until proven guilty and I’d fight that to the highest court in the land, should some government bureaucrat be so foolish as to grant a challenge with no evidence.

If the assertion that Obama was born somewhere other than Hawaii is to be considered, those making that assertion must produce witnesses and testimony either in person or by deposition. Where’s the midwife or doctor who delivered the babe Obama, the assistants at the delivery, the village elder who knows of the event?

This kind of story is too much like challenging voters based on the section of the city their addresses identify. People get away with making irresponible accusations like that too often.

  48. 65

    WatchManOnThe Wall spews:

If I have to show my birth certificate to get a a valid id or to drive and even for my social security card then he should have to prove he is who he says he is.If its governments right to see mine, then it is mine to see thiers,Yes,they should come up with the real thing.

This is America for the people by the people. And I am sure that it will not go away until the issue is satisfied. And don’t think they wouldn’t ask you for yours anytime you file for any governmental program.Usually is 3 types of id,You name what you have for id.I have bc,ss card, and dl that is the three, My brother who is a vet had to show all 3 to be able to see a doctor at the veterans hospital.

So it is legal for anyone to ask for that kind of info, it is up to you if you want the services,to provide it.

And if he wants the respect and trust of Americans he should also provide what they are asking for. Whats ten bucks to a guy that can afford 160 million dollar inauguration?

  49. 66

    Harry Tuttle spews:

“If I have to show my birth certificate to get a a valid id or to drive and even for my social security card then he should have to prove he is who he says he is.”

He shouldn’t be required to show any more than your or I. Hawaii officials have gone on record to state that his birth records are in order. You have no case. You can produce no evidence.

  50. 67

    WatchManOnThe Wall spews:

I dont want a case, you said you that you haven’t been following it. I told you where you could get some info. You wanted my opinion I gave it to you if you can’t live with it, to bad so sad.
I don’t really care,When, where or how he was born or that he was even born.If you want to make a case then make it with someone who really gives a rats crack.

    You can have your obamessiah.
Instead of asking others to do your investigating, maybe you should do some yourself.
