He declined to say whether the White House objects to the proposal from the Senate group that would tie citizenship to border security and employment-verification measures.

Team Obama providing their usual clarity.

And this:

At the same time, Chuck Schumer’s office declined to respond to my request for clarification on this point.

has got to be the first time Chuck Schumer has declined to be on camera for anything.

2. Serial conservative spews:

To be fair @1, Rubio and McCain aren’t in sync this morning, either.

The Clinton-Obama interview on 60 Minutes was nice.

One might even use the term ‘fawning’.

Whaddya know, someone did:

CBS’ News Steve Kroft appeared on Monday’s broadcast of CNN’s “Piers Morgan Tonight” to defend what some critics have described as a fawning interview with President Barack Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on Sunday’s “60 Minutes,” and pushed back on allegations that he is the president’s “favorite interviewer.”

The election is over. Why can’t the media put away the kneepads?

4. Serial conservative spews:

Kroft was so nice in his interview with Obama and HRC, he asked no specific questions about Syria and how the US perspective there seems to have changed. Here’s a link to the list of questions he asked:

http://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2013/01/steve-krofts-softball-obama-interviews-diminish-60-minutes/272611/

Note that the author pointed out that Jon Stewart asked harder hitting questions.

You would think Syria would deserve more than a passing mention. It’s sort of still in the news these days:

But asking about that, particularly with HRC sitting there knowing full well she had referred to Assad as a ‘reformer’, wouldn’t be nice.

Barack Obama, War Criminal.

U.N. Drone Investigator: If Facts Lead to U.S. War Crimes, So Be It

That carries the possibility of a reckoning with the human damage left by drones, the first such witnessing by the international community. Accountability, Emmerson tells Danger Room in a Monday phone interview, “is the central purpose of the report.” He’s not shying away from the possibility of digging up evidence of “war crimes,” should the facts point in that direction.

That’s what happens, I guess, when you give out a Nobel Peace Prize to a guy who hasn’t done a thing yet.

Barack Obama, War Criminal.

heh, try batshit insane right winger silencer…

What happened to the “one term President”?

Vanished like gas passed in a wind tunnel.

Not excusing him of course.. But like the wing dings said in 2004 – “no successful attacks on the homeland”..

9. Roger Rabbit spews:

@3 I’m sure the wingers will use that as another excuse to deport Piers Morgan.

10. Roger Rabbit spews:

If someone says something wingers disagree with, they want to either deport or kill him. Just like the old days in the USSR under Stalin.
