Contraception’s now a sin,
Screwing G.M. in the clutch.
Incivility’s a virtue,
Homophobic. Out of touch.
Filibusters. Budget scrums.
Ultrasounds & speculums.
To the Dark Side they’ve succumbed.

Soon Election Day will dawn,
We were meant to hold this seat!
At the ballot box of freedom,
Unemployment’s in retreat!
Now the battle lines are drawn,
And Detroit’s back on its feet!
Will you take your place with me!

The time is NOW the vote is NEAR!
One Term More!
One more day to re-election,
And until the music stops,
We will fight to save the jobs of
Teachers, firemen & cops!
One Term More!
One more day to resolution,
We’ll defeat those fetid nuts,
We are fed up with pernicious
Talk of prostitutes & sluts!

Just as an FYI, all that Fracking in the Dakotas that’s supposed to insure our energy freedomz and shit? It relies on sand from China!

The Port of Olympia is back in the import business, bringing a product to the marine terminal that arrives in 11/2-ton “super sacks,” is dumped into enclosed rail cars and then travels 900 miles to the northwest corner of North Dakota, where it plays a role in an economic oil boom reminiscent of Alaska in the 1970s.

The new cargo represents $1.5 million in annual revenue for the port.

The product, manufactured in China, is called ceramic proppants – grains of sand with a hint of alumina that are coated with ceramics. The proppants are used in an oil exploration process known as hydraulic fracturing, or “fracking,” that literally props up the weight of the earth so that oil, deep underground, can be released.

For some, fracking is a controversial process, prone to contaminate groundwater, while others say fracking takes place at such deep levels underground that there is no threat to groundwater. Others, too, say the fracking process in North Dakota is closely regulated and means jobs and growth, as well as jobs in Olympia.

The reason recent growth of food stamp reliance has increased more in GOP-heavy areas, YLB, is that food stamp reliance has been so heavy for so long in Dem-heavy areas that it’s hard to detect any further use of them in those areas.

Food stamps are a new thing to a lot of Republicans, you’re right. They’d rather have jobs.

@11. That’s one heck of a spin Mr Cheap Shot. You lie and distort very chance you get.

In this map from 2009, the rural areas and the south, where most food stamps were used. Notice that the food stamp use is generally LESS in the liberal urban areas that have not been destroy by republican economics. Check out Portland and Seattle. Much less use than the south.
http://kindredblood.files.wordpress.com/2009/12/national-food-stamps-map.jpg?w=869

http://www.policymic.com/articles/14007/food-stamp-use-is-highest-in-red-states-the-truth-republicans-do-not-want-you-to-know

If the poor are uplifted even just slightly then they become tax payers rather than living off food stamps. Republicans are angry about food stamp usage because they have failed to uplift the poor in their states. The top down, trickle down, economic approach has broken social mobility in Republican led states. Republicans are angry because their failed economic approach leaves them with fewer tax payers and more people on welfare.

Con policies are not working, so instead of changing the policies, Cons punish the people who now need help from the policies that screwed them.

According to Lib Sci’s definition, anyway:

http://horsesass.org/?p=47501#comment-1198028

It’s not enough that some of the HA libbies, like Lib Sci, have to see conservative leanings in white people as racism. They have to see conservative leanings in African-Americans in racial terms as well.

35. No Time for Fascists spews:

@33 My partner is black. He has talked many many times that black republicans more often than not have self loathing issues and/or are blatant opportunists that can make good money promoting republican talking points so long as they are not personally being screwed by them. what kind of sick parents send their kids to be brainwashed at a youth political camp? I didnt even think such things existed. its almost like a partisan lemming factory.

LOL!! Well look what what maxee’s heroes the Koch Brothers are doing with homeschooled kids from the dreary burbs:

Other sources said that Sean Noble, a Koch operative, has been steering cash to groups in swing states – including many that pay canvassers – to bus or fly in out-of-state tea party activists and homeschooled high school students to do canvassing.

“This is a national effort – we’re taking kids from where they’re available to where they’re needed,” said Mike Farris, president of the Home School Legal Defense Association. “Fifty kids can outwork 100 union members every single time. The energy levels are just dramatically different.”

It’s “terrific government education,” Farris added. “You can’t get this kind of education in public schools.”

BTW. Claiming that America shouldn’t re elect President Obama because he didn’t lower the unemployment rate enough, is like saying the Batman should be replaced by Two-Face because Batman didn’t lower the crime rate enough.
That’s an analogy simple enough even for conservatives to understand.

38. Serial conservative spews:

@ 33, 34

Then what’s your explanation for black Democrats who take issue with The One’s glaring inadequacies?

Wilder chooses not to endorse for president

http://www2.timesdispatch.com/news/2012/nov/04/wilder-chooses-not-endorse-president-ar-2335331/

Wilder does not expressly back Romney, but he says the Republican has met the test to be president.

“The Republicans endured a bad nominating process. Yet in the end, they seem to have chosen a credible candidate that many Virginians tell me they would feel fairly comfortable with in the Oval Office.

Democrats counted on using ad hominem attacks to make Romney seem too unworthy and too unsteady to be the country’s chief executive because of the rough nominating process. But that has not been 100 percent effective.

Will it be effective enough? We’ll find out on Tuesday.”

Wilder hasn’t exactly been a good Democrat:

Wilder, who served as governor from 1990-94 and as mayor of Richmond from 2005-09 has a long history of breaking with fellow Democrats.

There must be some derisive term to decribe him that Lib Sci can gin up. Something ‘provocative’ so he doesn’t overtly embarrass himself in front of his children.

Until they go and look up the definition of the term he used to describe Artur Davis.

39. No Time for Fascists spews:

We already discussed Wilder as an opportunist.

40. No Time for Fascists spews:

Then what’s your explanation for Black Democrats who take issue with President Obama?
Can you read? Apparently no. I covered this in 34.

41. Serial conservative spews:

@ 39

Er, no, you did not. Wilder is a Democrat. @ 34 pertained specifically to Republicans.

42. Liberal Scientist is a Dirty Fucking Socialist Hippie spews:

http://kunstler.com/blog/2012/11/the-tides-of-event.html
Finally, I just don’t like Mitt Romney. He’s the over-eager twerp in the classroom with his arm always sticking up. He’s the missionary bozo in a necktie ringing your doorbell to sell a fairy-tale cult religion dreamed up in the 1820s by another over-eager con artist. He’s obviously using the national stage to work out his father issues (George Romney ran for president in 1968, blundering his way out of the race early on). He shamelessly panders to the worst elements of his own party – the ignorant, militaristic, punitive-minded Nascar evangelicals – and dissembles so automatically that there is nothing left of whatever core beliefs he might have theoretically developed earlier in his career. He’s too chicken to engage with the realities of climate change, so visibly on display this season. He’s spoiling to rumble with China, apparently oblivious to the fact that China’s leader-in-waiting, Xi Jingping, is an army brat. I pray at my little alter of ecumenical totems that the tides of history will sweep Mitt Romney out to the seas of retirement from public life, where he can enjoy his Medicare entitlements secure in the guarantee that he will not be hassled over any pre-existing conditions.

48. No Time for Fascists spews:

@40. If you cannot figure out the difference between the spirit of what I wrote vs niggling over my exact wording, I cannot help you. Wilder is a pissed of opportunist who didn’t hold enough liberal views to get re elected in the primary. Nothing wrong with that, but don’t complain if democrats don’t vote for you.
BTW
Republican Colin Powell is for President Obama.
Republican Former Gov. Charlie Crist is for President Obama.

49. Serial conservative spews:

@ 47

So I’m supposed to infer, then. Although if I were to infer that you were saying that black people with conservative leanings are all alike, that might not be correct.

In the future, when you mention xxx Republican, should I infer that you meant Democrat as well, or is it just this one time that I should read X and perceive Y?

Tell your partner to slap you upside your head for me.

A recent history of election stealing by the right :

In 2002, the G.O.P. regained control of the Senate with such victories. In Georgia, for example, Diebold’s voting machines reported the defeat of Democratic senator Max Cleland. Early polls had given the highly popular Cleland a solid lead over his Republican opponent, Saxby Chambliss, a favorite of the Christian right, the NRA, and George W. Bush (who made several campaign appearances on his behalf). As Election Day drew near, the contest narrowed. Chambliss, who had avoided military service, ran attack ads denouncing Cleland—a Silver Star recipient who lost three limbs in Vietnam—as a traitor for voting against the creation of the Department of Homeland Security. Two days before the election, a Zogby poll gave Chambliss a one-point lead among likely voters, while the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported that Cleland maintained a three-point advantage with the same group.

Cleland lost by seven points.

She told me that her church told her she could not vote for Obama because he is for abortion and he is for the gays. She said she didn’t know what to do, or how to vote.

Florida is about the only state where Obama lost ground, while he surged in Wisconsin. Everywhere else, the movement was incremental, and mostly in the president’s direction. Wow. A right winger who obsesses over what the IRS “thinks”. Not enough loopholes in the tax code for you asshat? Shit it’s been proven that Romney paid no federal income taxes from 1996 to 2009.

It’s sick crazy in the right wing fever swamps.

LOL! Mitt’s been way ahead of you asshat. You are slow on the uptake.

For some reason you’re not voting for him. He ought to be your freaking role model. Must be prejudiced against Mormons.

Heh. Like that’s a surprise.

Suzuki’s out of the American car market.

http://www.reuters.com/article/2012/11/06/us-americansuzukimotor-chapter-idUSBRE8A501D20121106

Mon Nov 5, 2012 7:25pm EST
(Reuters) – Japan’s Suzuki Motor Corp (7269.T) said it will shutter its unprofitable automobile sales business in the United States and instead focus on its motorcycle, ATV and marine boat sales, as it fights a strong yen and slumping U.S. demand for its small cars.

Considering car ownership peaked in 2004 or so it’s pretty predictable that a minor player is leaving the market.

90. Michael spews:

Yay Tammy Duckworth. Joe Walsh is going down.

Tammy Duckworth holds a 10-point lead over Rep. Joe Walsh (R-Ill.), an advantage the Democratic congressional candidate is seeing thanks to Walsh’s controversial comments and Tea Party membership, according to a poll released Friday by the Chicago Tribune and WGN-TV.

Ewuuu… Ick!

A drug-sniffing dog was called in, and indicated that there were possibly drugs in the front seat of the car. The deputy reported finding six amphetamine pills in a plastic cigarette wrapper in the woman’s purse. The woman said they belonged to her daughter.

The woman was taken to the Utah County jail, and during a search was found to have a baggie containing what police said was cocaine in her mouth, as well as a 3.5-inch-long, 1-inch-diameter methamphetamine crystal in a body cavity. Based on the amount of drugs found, she was arrested on suspicion of possessing a distributable amount of methamphetamine in jail, a first-degree felony.

You know, I’m just fine with whomever found that meth making a good wage and a union rep.

Mitt Romney Mormon video goes viral
A day before the election, a video that depicts a visibly angry Mitt Romney defending his faith has become a viral hit.

To bad this didn’t go viral a long time ago. What a nutter.

I just read an article on CNBC. Looks like all of Romney’s fans on Wall Street are depressed. Only 24 hours to go until the backbiting starts! Sure is fun watching Republicans devour each other! Meanwhile our friends at (u)SP have nothing to talk about except stolen yard signs, which almost has a deer-in-headlines fatalism to it.

A PROCLAMATION OF TYRANNY
HE patient sufferance of The Sovereign People of the United States of America will no longer continue silently at the mercy of our government. We, The Sovereign People, of the United States of America bring before the government our grievances. This comes as a response to the campaign of tyranny and misrepresentation being waged by our federal government. Our Constitutional Republic is for and by the Sovereign People, and in saying this we remind those in government, We The Sovereign People are the stakeholders in our country not our representatives. We, The Sovereign People, have repeatedly petitioned the government to halt legislation and laws that alter or dismiss our natural rights. The Sovereign People of the United States of America, demand that our grievances are heard

Hope Hoss doesn’t go all Tim Mcveigh when Obama wins tomorrow and his righty tea party folks lose.

Fascist farts

@33 My partner is black. He has talked many many times that black republicans more often than not have self loathing issues and/or are blatant opportunists that can make good money promoting republican talking points so long as they are not personally being screwed by them. Classic “I got mine, to hell with you” mentality.

Good for him. To attack black people who don’t toe the reservation line is so progressive of him. Puddy has no self loathing issues. I am as comfortable in the Rainier Valley as in Bellevue. In fact, Puddy comfortable just about anywhere in da world. God is great. Puddy will throw down my charitable contributions against your partners any day of the week. Does your partner volunteer to help poor blacks read and write? Just checkin’. Does your partner know about a special place on South Othello? Just checkin’. You libtards like giving away other peeps money, not your own.

So Puddy bets you and he gots yours and no one else gets any from you two. Personally been screwed by libtard talking points so that’s why Puddy went Republican. If fact many of us who let da reservation were screwed by DUMMOCRAPT policies. Ya see, Puddy saw what the Philly inner city was like. Nuthin has changed in the old ‘hood.

So Fascist, why you hiding behind his coattails? And you ain’t ‘splained nuthin in dat post.

No, the Illinois DUMMOCRAPTS reapportioned his district to put more DUMMOCRAPTS in it. Of course that wasn’t brought up at all.
