Obama’s minister hates America!
http://abcnews.go.com/Blotter/.....038;page=1
An ABC News review of dozens of Rev. Wright’s sermons, offered for sale by the church, found repeated denunciations of the U.S. based on what he described as his reading of the Gospels and the treatment of black Americans.
“The government gives them the drugs, builds bigger prisons, passes a three-strike law and then wants us to sing ‘God Bless America.’ No, no, no, God damn America, that’s in the Bible for killing innocent people,” he said in a 2003 sermon. “God damn America for treating our citizens as less than human. God damn America for as long as she acts like she is God and she is supreme.”
In addition to damning America, he told his congregation on the Sunday after Sept. 11, 2001 that the United States had brought on al Qaeda’s attacks because of its own terrorism.
“We bombed Hiroshima, we bombed Nagasaki, and we nuked far more than the thousands in New York and the Pentagon, and we never batted an eye,” Rev. Wright said in a sermon on Sept. 16, 2001.
“We have supported state terrorism against the Palestinians and black South Africans, and now we are indignant because the stuff we have done overseas is now brought right back to our own front yards. America’s chickens are coming home to roost,” he told his congregation.

And John – what is that supposed to mean?
Does Obama have to agreee with anything his minister says?
Have anything that Obama has said to comment on?
Otherwise – shut up.
Minister Hagee who spoke before McCain and supports McCain says that Catholics and the Catholic church are the antichrist – have you commented on that?
If not – than shut up. Obama has repudiated the things his minister has said – Has McCain repudiated Hagee’s support – NO.
‘Nuff said.
John425 spews:
McCain HAS repudiated Hagee. One has to wonder about “hating” America as Wright does, and never being “proud to be an American” as Michelle Obama has said.
Taken together and coupled with Barack’s vacuous platform about “change”- I fear the change won’t be for the better.
Another TJ spews:
McCain HAS repudiated Hagee.
No, he hasn’t. He said he disagrees with some of what Hagee said (without specifying what he disagrees with) and claimed Hagee was quoted out of context (when in doubt, go with the classics). He also said he was proud to have Hagee’s endorsement, and, given how hard he worked to court Hagee, he had to have known what a slime Hagee is.
And that’s not even getting into McCain’s “spiritual guide” huckster Rod Parsley.
Prophet Jeremiah spews:
Obama has been with Trinity United for twenty years. He was married there. Kids go to ‘school’ there. Borrowed/stole the line, Audacity of Hope, from Wright, just as Wright borrowed/stole the line about chickens coming home to roost from Malcolm X.
If Romney’s religion was fair game for both the Huckabee fundies and for the secular left media, then Obama has some explaining to do about his separatist and supremacist Wright religion.
Prophet Jeremiah spews:
And Wiki doesn’t say it (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeremiah_Wright) but word on the street is that Wright took a sabbatical from TUCC on 10 February 2008 to hook up with the Obama campaign.
Wiki doesn’t say it, so go to YouTube, but some of Wright’s most virulent invective has been launched at a pampered pasty-white senator from New York. No, not Schumer. The other pampered pasty-white senator from New York. Wayyyyyyy beyond anything expressed or implied by Ferraro about Obama.
