First, acknowledgement and gratitude to RR for his service history. Closest I came was filling out a form at the post office 30+ years ago.
You missed the point of the piece. Shortfalls are not being recognized because return assumptions are unrealistic. Ultimately, RR, does that not hurt both current and future retirees, when there is not enough money to meet obligations and the obligations are continually unmet because performance falls way short of unrealistic predictions? Blaming one side only works if that one side is making the decisions. Whom do you blame, say, in California, where the GOP is now an asterisk in an otherwise deep-blue legislature?
Perhaps stop laying blame and begin arguing for substitution of realistic assumptions based upon life as we now know it, not life in late 2006.

Whom do you blame, say, in California, where the GOP is now an asterisk in an otherwise deep-blue legislature?
That’s totally disingenuous – California is being destroyed by that asterisk, empowered by the wingnut, undemocratic 2/3 supermajority requirement for revenue laws.

California is being destroyed, I’ll agree. Although your assumption, apparenty, is that more revenue is always the answer. What happens when there’s no blood left to drain?
At some point the unions will have to give. The big question is whether CA goes tits up in a GOP administration (Romney) or in a Dem administration (Obama). They either get the big bailout or they don’t. (Oh, and IL will go bankrupt first, from what I read.)
I could substitute NY for CA. The CNBC piece @ 2 mentions NY and there’s a piece I read on Cuomo earlier today from another source which also details his battles with unions in order to control expenditures.
It’s disingenuous, in return, Lib Sci, to not mention that there are two issues to CA’s crisis. It’s not just insufficient revenues. It’s excessive expenditures.

CHRIS HAYES: Thinking today and observing Memorial Day, that’ll be happening tomorrow. Just talked with Lt. Col. Steve Burke, who was a casualty officer with the Marines and had to tell people. Um, I, I, ah, back sorry, um, I think it’s interesting because I think it is very difficult to talk about the war dead and the fallen without invoking valor, without invoking the words “heroes.” Um, and, ah, ah, why do I feel so comfortable about the word “hero”? I feel comfortable, ah, uncomfortable, about the word because it seems to me that it is so rhetorically proximate to justifications for more war. Um, and, I don’t want to obviously desecrate or disrespect memory of anyone that’s fallen, and obviously there are individual circumstances in which there is genuine, tremendous heroism: hail of gunfire, rescuing fellow soldiers and things like that. But it seems to me that we marshal this word in a way that is problematic. But maybe I’m wrong about that.

@7: There’s a lot more to the story, asshole.
In CA, in addition to the tryanny of a tiny minority of fascist fucknuts, there’s prop 13 in which granny gets to slide on property taxes, while the kids pay thru the nose.
Cuomo is owned by Wall Street and refused to tax them ~.05 a transaction — they would have been swimming in revenue, instead he went after working people.
While we’re at it, I’d like clawbacks for everything Wall Street’s “earned” since about 2005.
Fuck ’em. And you too.

God forbid that unions should have to share in the challenges of a failed economy.
Prop 13 passed in the 70s. Union homeowners slide on that same low real-estate taxation. Oh, and union pension investment funds don’t have to be hit by that transaction tax.
While we’re at it, I’d like my hair back. We don’t get everything we want in life.
Cuomo is the Dem governor providing cover for what GOP governors in WI, OH, and IN have been doing over the past couple of years. It’s been long overdue. Thuggish union behavior has been tolerated for too long, and the pushback has begun.
Be fruitful and multiply, yourself, Zotz.

A recent article in the California Journal of Politics and Policy by Colin McCubbins and Mathew McCubbins shows that, adjusted again for population growth and inflation, total state and local tax revenues in California were higher ten years after Proposition 13’s enactment than they were just before—and that they were half again as high in 2000 as in 1978. Census Bureau data show that California ranked tenth in the nation in 2007 in terms of per-capita receipts from all state and local taxes (property, income, sales, and excise taxes) paid by individuals and corporations. Per-capita receipts from individual and corporate income taxes were 64 percent higher in California than they were in the rest of the country: $1,764 in California, $1,077 elsewhere. All told, California’s governments received $4,731 per resident from all taxes, 14 percent more than the $4,160 average outside California.

Baal forbid that we have an adult, objective discussion about the myths surrounding war. What war almost always boils down to is the wealthy and powerful sending the children of the disenfranchised of each side to kill each other. And kill a lot of innocent noncombatants, mostly women and especially children.
So yes, we need to stop the hagiography of war, stop the mythologizing – and part of that is the use of the word ‘hero’. As a right winger, I expect you’ll object, because there’s been almost nothing as successful for your side as the ability to wrap yourselves around the flag and hide behind “the TROOPS!! Support the TROOPZZ!” while waging political war thus armored.

I’m not as one-note as you claim. I’m OK with higher taxation – just not on only one class of people. I’m pro-choice. I’m for gay marriage. Doesn’t exactly fit your preconceptions, but it is what it is.
Your side does its best to stereotype those with whom you disagree. It’s narrow-minded and it’s self-defeating. You choose not to engage allegedly because of my mindset. In reality it’s because you know that there will have to be significant pain at both ends to achieve solutions and you are unwilling to ask those on your side to assume part of the responsibility.
This discussion started because RR blamed a problem solely on the GOP. All I did was point out that much of the problem is based on false assumptions that people are unwilling to modify to realistic assumptions because of what the implication will be to largely unionized people.
No shilling involved. Simply a statement of reality.
Provocateur? Sure. Like many on this site, just from a different perspective. Which you apparently cannot tolerate.

Ah, the old “spits on the veteran” canard. Not true then, not true now – but very illustrative of my point above about right wingers wrapping themselves – usually chickenhawks – in flag and veteran.
As I said – learn to read above a third-grade level sometime – we need to examine – to replace – the mythology of war.
War is almost invariably a boon to the wealthy and powerful, whose interests are advanced and protected, while the children of the poor and dispossessed of both sides are used as cannon fodder.
War is a sin, for those of you more comfortable in ecclesiastical terms. It is a theft – the wealth of a nation – belonging to all its people – squandered on either the cynical or adolescent demands of the few. Always terribly expensive, always horrifically destructive – to both the dead and the survivors, who we are beginning to understand come back with their souls shattered.
Do Not Kill – remember that one? I guess that got thrown out with the cloth of multiple threads, and the kosher rules, while keeping all of Jesus’ anti-gay admonitions intact (the ones that really don’t exist).
My position is utterly aligned with the veteran. I don’t want any more kids coming back in boxes, or legless, or with their psyche crushed.

No, you missed my point, which is that shortfalls wouldn’t happen in the first place if politicians didn’t deliberately use unrealistic return assumptions as an excuse to opt out of making the public employers’ contributions to the pension system. In effect, they spent money promised to public workers on other things. And now, politicians are using the fact that they didn’t keep their moral and legal commitments to public workers as an excuse to claim they can’t afford to to honor their pension promises.
Btw, Washington has one of the best-run pension systems in the country; we’re one of only 3 or 4 states whose public pension system is, in aggregate, fully funded.

Bullets For Foreigners, No Food For Americans
In the upcoming campaign, watch Mittster shill for a bigger military, no deficits, and more tax cuts — all at once. And he’ll use the “need” for more bullets and bombs as an excuse to cut unemployment benefits and food stamps for American workers the Miracle Of Capitalism (TM) has no use for — watch and see. How can anyone with a conscience vote for this guy?
“Mitt Romney took advantage of one of his largest crowds of the campaign season on Memorial Day to warn of the dangers of a shrinking U.S. military in a dangerous world. …
“‘We have two courses we can follow: … To shrink our military smaller and smaller to pay for our social needs. And … hope for the best. Were we to follow that kind of course, there would be no one that could stand to protect us,’ Romney told an audience …. ‘The other is to commit to preserve America as the strongest military in the world, second to none, with no comparable power anywhere in the world.'”
Roger Rabbit Commentary: What a load of crap. First, the U.S. military is getting bigger and bigger, not smaller and smaller. Second, U.S. military spending exceeds the rest of the world combined — and is 10 times what China spends. Third, you can’t have a bigger military and lower taxes at the same time — the math doesn’t work — so if you want a bigger military, dickhead, then pay for it by raising taxes on those who received the biggest tax breaks and can most afford to pay.
Here’s a final thought: If Romney really believed in a strong military, he could have made our military stronger by volunteering to serve in it when he was a young man — as I and millions of others did. Forgive me, but I just don’t have the patience to listen to a draft dodger preach to me about a “strong military.”

Seems apropos today:
Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed. This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children. The cost of one modern heavy bomber is this: a modern brick school in more than 30 cities. It is two electric power plants, each serving a town of 60,000 population. It is two fine, fully equipped hospitals. It is some fifty miles of concrete pavement. We pay for a single fighter plane with a half million bushels of wheat. We pay for a single destroyer with new homes that could have housed more than 8,000 people. This is, I repeat, the best way of life to be found on the road the world has been taking. This is not a way of life at all, in any true sense. Under the cloud of threatening war, it is humanity hanging from a cross of iron.

“The N.L.R.B.’s inspector general, David P. “Mr. Berry’s report said, ‘Mr. Flynn’s public statement that he has engaged in no wrongdoing strikes at the very heart of the board and all but eviscerates the due process procedures that the board has established.'”

Republicans have long claimed to own the military vote, but that’s bullshit, because it’s illegal to conduct political polls on military bases, so there’s no way to know who soldiers vote for. The GOP’s guess, though, is that at least some soldiers vote for Democrats — which is why the GOP spends millions of dollars and thousands of man hours trying to keep soldiers deployed to overseas wars from voting.

I reject any efforts to diminish my opinion because I did not serve. I was not called and I did not volunteer. If I am somehow unworthy of an opinion regarding defense issues, how is Obama, or Hillary Clinton, or in all likelihood the majority of future presidential candidates, worthy of directing our national defense? Neither of them volunteered, either.
Sorry, RR. Hopefully the need for a military will never again require a draft of so many American citizens. This means our citizen government is unlikely to have military experience.

@114 “I reject any efforts to diminish my opinion because I did not serve. I was not called and I did not volunteer. If I am somehow unworthy of an opinion regarding defense issues blah blah blah ….”

124
Roger Rabbitspews:
@114 (continued) “Sorry, RR. Hopefully the need for a military will never again require a draft of so many American citizens. This means our citizen government is unlikely to have military experience.”
Oh, so the only way we can get leaders with military experience is if we have a draft? This seems to assume nobody volunteers. In fact, everyone currently serving in the U.S. military — and everyone who has served since 1973 — is a volunteer.
I get the feeling from your remarks that military service is something you would do only if you were compelled to do it. Where did that shit come from? If that’s your attitude, please don’t volunteer, because I don’t want to be in a foxhole with you.
Let me explain something to you, wimp. Back in 1968, when I signed my enlistment papers, a lot of people in my generation were trying to get out of serving in the military. This was sort of understandable, because we had on average about 200 body bags a week coming home from Vietnam.
Believe me, I didn’t have a death wish. Here’s how I figured things. A lot of those folks figured they were too good to go, because they came from middle class families, and exemption was available to anyone who could pony up college tuition. Vietnam is sometimes called the Working Class War, with justification, because it was fought mostly by blue-collar guys who came from farms, mines, assembly lines, or right out of high school.
Well, I came from a middle-class family of rabbits, and I sat out the first four years of the war on student deferments, but then I fucking enlisted and volunteered for Vietnam even though I couldn’t pass a military physical and had to talk the Army into taking me after I flunked the physical.
Why did I do that? I’ll tell you why. Because, even though I disagreed with the war — I participated in anti-war demonstrations both before and after my military service — I respected the guys who were over there. I wanted to believe I was good enough to be over there with them. That’s why I did it.
So, what’s your fucking problem with volunteering? Why is serving in your country’s military forces something you’ll do only if a draft drags you into it? America’s service men and women are the best we’ve got. You learn a lot about character, devotion to duty, and getting a job done — no matter how tough — from them. You come out a better person. Why didn’t you want that for yourself?
You sound to me like a person who doesn’t have much self-respect.

Roger Rabbitspews:
In other news, Republicans in Congress are trying to cut off unemployment benefits to millions of people their stupid economic policies threw out of work.
This is actually beyond stupid, it’s something for which a word hasn’t been invented yet, because the unemployment insurance these folks receive helps more than just them; it helps all of us, because it’s anti-depression insurance that protects our entire society.
Two big government programs enacted in the FDR days protect us against a repeat of the 1930s economic tragedy: Social Security and unemployment insurance. This money gets spent right away. It puts a floor under how far consumer spending, and therefore the economy, can fall when capitalism fails, as it periodically does. Only suicidal maniacs want to undermine these programs.
Corporations are sitting on trillions of unspent dollars. If they don’t like paying taxes for unemployment benefits, then how about using some of that money to hire workers? The next time a CEO tries to tell you there’s no demand, tell him the way to create demand is by businesses putting people to work. Of course there’s no demand if they won’t hire people!
The next time you hear a CEO complaining he can’t hire people with the skills he needs, tell him Henry Ford couldn’t hire people with the skills needed to assemble his autos, because nobody had ever done that before. He hired people who had a work ethic and trained them, and soon autos were rolling off his assembly lines, and the workers he employed bought them. Win-win. Ford got rich and his workers made living wages that supported their families.
What the fuck is wrong with saying to unemployed people, “If you come to work for me, I will teach you how to do the jobs I need done, and I will give you steady employment, and if you’re a team player, and have a positive attitude about your work, and you work hard, and give me your best effort, you’ll have a job that pays well, and that you can count on, and that you can retire from.”
That’s how things used to be in this country, and everyone was better off when things were that way. Maybe that’s what we need to get back to. You sure as hell can’t call what has transpired under 30 years of Republican rule “progress.” America has been going backward ever since Ayn Rand’s philosophy grabbed hold of our society and ripped its heart out.

I wish you’d carefully consider the governmental principle embodied in a sentiment like that one. How could a representational democracy embody that principle? Should only volunteers be permitted to vote? Serve in office? Express their opinions? How do you carve out the boundaries of a principle like that? Should it apply to every facet of civic life? Will there be exceptions for some who are unable to serve? How would the idea of “civilian government” be expressed by such a principle?
To me it sounds dangerously like a step toward military totalitarianism. Isn’t one of the greatest values expressed in the oath the promise to defend the Constitutional right of ignorant assholes to express their unfounded, warmongering opinions, right alongside all the intelligent opinions?

Cuomo is owned by Wall Street and refused to tax them ~.05 a transaction — they would have been swimming in revenue, instead he went after working people.

Just another punk-ass pussy progressive pussy who forgets that the freedom he enjoys was only possible by the sacrifices of people in the military(you know, the same people he spits on.)
Liberal Scientist is a slut who occasionally wears a hoodie spews:
You really are showing your true colors lately – flat earther/YECer, anti-gay bigot, now blatantly MOOSLUM hating – not that that’s unexpected.
You’re small, angry, frightened – delighting in the anticipated torture of people you call, “Other.” How terribly Christian of you (apologies to any out there who take Jesus’ (purported) admonition to Love One Another – you guys I love).
Liberal Scientist is a slut who occasionally wears a hoodie spews:
You keep telling yourself that. Did you serve in the military?
Puddybud spews:
Hey ASSHole, I travel all over the world. ALL THE TIME. Unlike you I get total respect everywhere. A black man in high speed technology. When I open my mouth people listen and become more intelligent.
When you speak all can view the ASS you R! So everyone notices the small man you are. You can’t deal with anyone disagreeing with your “grand thoughts”. Sorry moron, U live in the gutter.
U R slime. Big difference.
BTW SFB, where have I claimed the earth is flat? Working on another neologism? Talk to the “doc” daneeka. He can help!
Regarding Medea, would she get respect? Nope you dope. You haven’t been paying attention lately. Well you are a moron!
Thanks for playing!
Puddybud spews:
I love these “attacks” from Lib the moron. As Roger DUMB Wabbit said “Pot meet Kettle”!
Thanks for playing!
Puddybud spews:
And where is that “statement” found?
Thanks for playing!
Liberal Scientist is a slut who occasionally wears a hoodie spews:
Funny, I find as an atheist – my comments above, informed by nonviolence and the message of Jesus regarding Love, one of the few positives I took away from my time with the Catholic Church – the first two of which contained these:
And what happens? The ostentatious Christianists – puddles and Max – scream about spitting on veterans, and call me a pussy.
Jesus wept.
30 pack of Strohs, 30 pack of hoes spews:
can you please post where I said I was a Christian? Are you making ASSumptions again? Wow, thats not very “scientific” of you.
Puddybud spews:
Except in the Lib the moron world.
Roger Rabbit spews:
@4 “Shortfalls are not being recognized because return assumptions are unrealistic.”
Puddybud spews:
You are confused. Where did I claim you spit on veterans? Where did I claim you are a pussy.
Must be both are true. You got on your hind legs and started braying over someone’s comments.
Stupid; yesterday, today and we all know something stupid will appear tomorrow.
Puddybud spews:
Watch Lib the moron spin out of #30!
Liberal Scientist is a slut who occasionally wears a hoodie spews:
In my post – it’s my statement. I was using using the word ‘sin’ to convey the point that war is evil, war is an affront to love, war is a theft, war is wrong. I deliberately used the word sin to appeal to you self-proclaimed Christians out there who simultaneously applaud war and violence.
I was both appealing to your supposed morals, and pointing out your essential hypocrisy. It’s called having a command of the language.
Roger Rabbit spews:
‘The other is to commit to preserve America as the strongest military in the world, second to none, with no comparable power anywhere in the world.'”
http://firstread.msnbc.msn.com.....event?lite

Birds of a feather. If you’re offended that I lump you together, than differentiate yourself. You seem very similar in your outlook and opinion of what I wrote about war.
Liberal Scientist is a slut who occasionally wears a hoodie spews:
Unfortunately, they did away with that argument with BushII.
It’s the only song they know. No government except to wage war in the interests of the unshackled elite – no taxes on them, only on working people, no regulations on their activities, no commitment to ordinary people, except to commit that they can either work for free in any conditions the elite want, or they can join the military.
Roger Rabbit spews:
@32 You don’t need to shout out that you’re not a Christian. We already know that. It’s self-evident.
Roger Rabbit spews:
@25 I don’t remember seeing any Harvard Business School guys in the foxhole next to mine. All the guys I served with were blue-collar guys.
Roger Rabbit spews:
@7 No revenue is never the answer. The public infrastructure, schools, research, etc., that make private wealth possible isn’t free.
Roger Rabbit spews:
@8 You got a problem with someone criticizing you war lovers* love of war?
* I asterisked this because I’ve noticed that you war lovers only love wars you, yourselves, don’t have to fight in.
Roger Rabbit spews:
No one loves peace more than soldiers who bear the hardships and sacrifices of war.
Liberal Scientist is a slut who occasionally wears a hoodie spews:
From yesterday:
This and other posts whining about Christian bashing on this site led me to conclude that you self-identify as a Christian. If I was wrong, I apologize.
A silly mistake on my part – if one takes ‘Christian’ at its most charitable, one thinks of love and acceptance and nonviolence – and I have certainly never identified any of those attributes in any of your posts. Again, my apologies.
Roger Rabbit spews:
@39 If you didn’t say he’s a pussy, I will; in fact, I call him “pussybutt” all the time.
Roger Rabbit spews:

@30 So you think war is not a sin? That war is okay? If you like war so much, enlist, so some other poor dogface can come home.
Puddybud spews:
That’s why John Borelli left Roger DUMB Wabbit? He was a pretender? He was a leftist Christian!
Another useless comment from Roger DUMB Wabbit!
Liberal Scientist is a slut who occasionally wears a hoodie spews:
@52
He’ll never answer that question.
Puddybud spews:
Spin spin spin. Can’t find it in the Bible eh?
R U pathetic!
Roger Rabbit spews:
@55 So if the Bible doesn’t say war is a sin, then war is okay;
is that your excuse for supporting warmongers, killers, and torturers like Bush and Cheney?
Liberal Scientist is a slut who occasionally wears a hoodie spews:
@55
I never said I relied on the Bible – I’ve made quite the opposite point over and over on these threads.
You demonstrate again the narrowness of your thinking. Is all that is evil and good delineated in the Bible? Is it the only source of morality?
You apparently think so – I have never said this, and I can define a sin in any way I choose.
Moreover…
Roger Rabbit spews:
“The National Labor Relations Board announced on Sunday that one of its five members, Terence F. Flynn, had resigned after the board’s inspector general found that Mr. Flynn, a Republican, leaked documents to G.O.P. allies.
“The board’s chairman, Mark Gaston Pearce, said Mr. Flynn, who joined the board in January, had submitted his resignation on Saturday evening by fax and e-mail.
“The N.L.R.B.’s inspector general, David P. Berry, issued a report in early May that found that Mr. Flynn had committed serious ethical violations by leaking drafts of board decisions and details of internal deliberations to Peter Schaumber, a former labor board chairman who had been co-chairman of Mitt Romney’s labor advisory committee.
“Mr. Berry’s report said, ‘Mr. Flynn’s public statement that he has engaged in no wrongdoing strikes at the very heart of the board and all but eviscerates the due process procedures that the board has established.'”

@80 That begs the question.
Roger Rabbit spews:
@82 “Except in the Lib the moron world.”

Roger Rabbit spews:
Hey putz! Where were you between 2:00 and 3:00 this afternoon? Not at the ceremony honoring our nation’s war dead at the Washelli Cemetery — I was there and didn’t see you. So. What did you do on this Memorial Day to honor those who serve (past and present) in our armed forces? Freedom isn’t free, but some are freeloaders.
Roger Rabbit spews:
Meanwhile, while Romney was plumping for more military spending, Obama stood at the Vietnam Memorial and called the treatment of Vietnam veterans a “disgrace.”
Roger Rabbit spews:
Republicans have long claimed to own the military vote, but that’s bullshit, because it’s illegal to conduct political polls on military bases, so there’s no way to know who soldiers vote for. The GOP’s guess, though, is that at least some soldiers vote for Democrats — which is why the GOP spends millions of dollars and thousands of man hours trying to keep soldiers deployed to overseas wars from voting.

I despair for our country.
Roger Rabbit spews:
@88 Give it up, putz. You’ve already lost this argument. You’re just banging on a garbage can lid now.
Roger Rabbit spews:
@89 Oh, they’ll be back at it this fall again, with their caging lists and all, trying to block soldiers from voting if their home of record happens to be in an inner city precinct that tends to vote Democratic and is, ahem, predominantly African-American.
Puddybud spews:
Wow Roger DUMB Wabbit bringing up 6 year old crap.
Puddybud spews:

For those of you who didn’t read the article, here’s what the GOPers did. They sent registered letters to the home addresses of voters they knew were in the military and deployed in Iraq or Afghanistan — knowing those letters wouldn’t be signed for — and then used the unsigned letters to challenge those soldiers’ voter registrations.
“Low” isn’t the right word for these Repoublican vote-suppression slimeballs.
Puddybud spews:

Roger Rabbit spews:
@76 “Prove that he didn’t?”
Good one, pussybutt, asking me to prove a negative — the oldest and most dishonest rhetorical trick there is. Not surprising, as everyone here knows you’re dishonest.
Here’s a suggestion: As you’re the proponent of the assertion that he did, the initial burden of proof is on you, and I have no burden of rebuttal until you meet that burden. Therefore, as I said before:
Prove that he did.
Roger Rabbit spews:
@98 What’s surprising about the fact that warmongers who hijack the flag, patriotism, our soldiers, and anything else they can lay their filthy hands on to peddle yet more crimes against humanity makes honest people nervous?
Roger Rabbit spews:
@97 Two things you can be fairly certain of is:
(1) The trolls stinking up this place didn’t serve; and

If we are to accept a Commander-in-Chief who has never served in the military in any capacity, as seems likely going forward, we must also accept the rights of citizens with similar background to criticize their leadership.

Like everyone else, I’m mortal, so I have a limited amount of time in this world and I’m not willing to waste very much of it on you.
Roger Rabbit spews:
@114 “as seems likely going forward”
Seems more like a sure thing to me, as neither Obama nor Romney served, although I’d take either of them over a deserter like Bush or a draft dodger like Cheney.
Roger Rabbit spews:
@114 “I reject any efforts to diminish my opinion because I did not serve. I was not called and I did not volunteer. If I am somehow unworthy of an opinion regarding defense issues blah blah blah ….”
In some things, there is no substitute for experience.
Roger Rabbit spews:

It’s about respect, Bob. Respect has to be earned, and these Yellow Republicans didn’t earn the right to make life-and-death decisions for the rest of us or for my children. And you haven’t earned the same respect for your opinions on defense matters as we who served. It’s as simple as that.
Roger Rabbit spews:
In other news, Republicans in Congress are trying to cut off unemployment benefits to millions of people their stupid economic policies threw out of work.
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/47....._business/

I ought to get a medal for trying to pound some common sense into these stupid trolls. It’s a thankless task.
Kim Jong Chillin spews:
Which is why there should be a Constitutional Amendment requiring ALL members of congress and the president to have done a minimum 3 years military service to be eligible for election.

@125
Tell me, then, how Obama “earned” the right.
Which was my point. He did not volunteer, either.

Nothing but crickets……..
Puddybud spews:
Leftists don’t have to earn anything. They “inherit” it.
Puddybud spews:
Yes you did. You are memory deficient. If you admit to that I’ll replay the link.
Of course you can ask the crazed deranged database deala ylb to replay the Hezbollah executes CIA operatives from Wikileaks info headline too.
