Light posting from Jon

pup

If you’ve had puppies in your home you know why. Ahh, isn’t she cute? We named her Sarah.

First she bit me, then she peed on my shoe. Later she accused me of attacking her and refused to be our puppy any more. We’re giving her a book contract.

She has a nose. I don’t like dogs with noses, something unnatural about it. I like a nice flat face. Looks dignified. Not so cutsie like Sarah.

Obama continues to blow all his political capital at a record pace!

    Saturday, July 18, 2009

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Saturday shows that 28% of the nation’s voters now Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Thirty-six percent (36%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of –8.

Fifty-eight percent (58%) of Democrats now Strongly Approve of the President while 63% of Republicans Strongly Disapprove. Among those not affiliated with either major party, 43% Strongly Disapprove.

5 I agree that kind of blackmail is bullshit. So is closing perfectly good car dealerships just because they donated to Republicans. Both parties are robbing this country of it’s future. Obama is certainly NOT the answer, talk about a greedhead, are you kidding me? Every fucking piece of shit that holds office right now needs to go without exception.

  4. 7

    YLB spews:

6 – Aren’t you the same guy who called Obama a “jigaboo”?

You’re a “birther” and now you’ve bought into the myth about the car dealers.

Car dealers are almost ALL Republican.

Well at least you have the sense to be put off by the likes of Sanford and other right wing hypocrites and shakedown artists but still you’re a deluded fool.

7 Even Lou Dobbs is questioning Obamas citizenship, http://www.plaintruth.com and scroll down a few articles. Or go to youtube and listen to the Kenyan ambassador brag about his birthplace and the monument being established. Its starting to unravel.

Yeah right…the lunatic hate-monget Keith Olbermann. How about a more independent source Darryl.

It is important to hold those in power accountable. You KLOWNS seem to be under the Obama spell. Of course things like these Auto Dealer scandal needs to be publicly investigated. Just like the Health Care Plan Obama and his gang are trying to ram thru needs to be slowed down and vetted.

The Conservative Revolution is right around the corner…as soon as the Health Care Plan is jammed thru, we will hear that “wealthy” people are doing tax planning and the revenue projections were way off…meaning more deficit and higher taxes on all of us FOR THE GREATER GOOD.

    Massachusetts Universal Health Care Cuts
    July 17, 2009 – 4:27 PM | by: Molly Line

As lawmakers on Capitol Hill battle to create a nationwide health care system to cover all, Massachusetts is struggling to keep the state’s groundbreaking universal coverage program up and running.

Facing a massive budget shortfall, lawmakers are cutting roughly 30 thousand legal, taxpaying immigrants out of the state subsidized Commonwealth Care program.

Workin’ real good for Teddy Kennedy, huh?
Do you think Teddy has been taking a number and waiting in line?? How about John Kerry?

Obamacare and Obamunism in general is merely sugar-coated Marxism. The young people under 29 who voted over 2-1 for Obama are going to be left holding the bag. Just think how pissed they will be when they grow up and wake up someday to see that the Kredit Kard Krazy Uncle Barrach has been using HAS THEIR NAMES ON IT!!
The kruel joke will be on them!!

Trust that all these so-called wealthy folks have excellent tax planners who will tighten up the purse-strings and defer Salaries & Wages until these experimental lab of bad ideas by Obama evaporates.

Look at European Countries like Denmark and even France. Eventually hard-working people begin to understand they are paying for lazy bastards and in come the Conservatives to clean up the mess.

  8. 18

    YLB spews:

    WTF?

Where’s the stats on that one?

Never seen a car dealer who proclaimed himself a big liberal. From Cal Worthington and his dog spot to whoever…

Car dealers are franchise owners of sorts and they’re almost all right wing Republicans. No tax is too low for them, no regulation too loose.

Bunch of greedheads. Always have been. If you’ve got any counter-stats, I’d be happy to see them.

  9. 19

    mark spews:

18 Bunch of greedheads? And how many of Obamas cabinet cheated on their taxes? How about ALL OF THEM! Hell, they couldn’t put Daschle in a position with a straight face he cheated so much. What the fuck, are you retarded? Maybe if liberals paid their taxes we would be in OK shape but apparently taxes are for everyone else.

Those who read sources of information outside of the right-wing echo chamber already know that the “Obama punishes Republican car dealers” story was debunked more or less the day it came out, when it was determined definitively that the dealers who were not shut down donated to Republicans in almost exactly the same numbers as those who were.

Now, please go back to filing your birth-certificate lawsuits.

  13. 24

    YLB spews:

And how many of Obamas cabinet cheated on their taxes?

How many right wing Republican boosters cheated on their taxes? To the tune 300 million dollars in Sam Wyly’s case.

All of Obama’s guys were bit players in that arena. Catching up on their taxes barely amounted to a spit in the wind.

Man are you brain-damaged. First you said nobody would vote for Obama because he’s a “jigaboo”, then you said the Iraqis were “mud people” and now you’re placing every ounce of faith you have in a phony birther fantasy, it’s your generation’s Vince Foster delusion.

Much like the palin can see russia line that the left kept repeating until, well, they are still repeating it.

Why do you believe the left believed the line from SNL was actually from palin? Are democrats that stupid or do they so badly want to believe the worst about half the country.

  15. 26

Much like the palin can see russia line that the left kept repeating until, well, they are still repeating it.

Palin said you could see Russia from Alaska. And indeed you can from one small island that to my recollection, Palin has never visited.

Fools like you said that qualified her to be one heartbeat away from running this country’s foreign policy.

In any case, she’s just proven herself to be a quitter. So we were right about her being a loser to begin with.

Are you not capable of seeing the difference between a citizen cheating on his taxes and a man appointed to head the treasury, or any one of the other cabinet posts that the obama has filled with tax cheats cheating on their taxes?

    It’s that typical liberal hypocrisy…

Do as I say, not as I do.

Did you notice how “obese” the new surgeon general that obama picked is. Just what the country needs… a fat ass lecturing others how to be healthy.

  18. 29

    YLB spews:

28 – Oh so you’re saying some people are more equal than others.

    How Orwellian of you.

Swift boater Sam Wyly doesn’t register one iota in your puny mind while an Obama guy that’s behind a few hundred dollars is guilty of high crimes and misdemeanors.

    Priceless.

What have you got against heavy people? Oh I get it. You’re the pseudo anti-racist and pseudo supporter of gay rights.

Like you say about the toe tapper and the reps that cheat, it’s the HYPOCRISY. A person that would be classified as obese is going to be setting the health guidelines for America.

Oh I get it. You’re the pseudo anti-racist and pseudo supporter of gay rights.

Don’t you believe people should speak out against bigotry? I understand that I am pointing out bigotry from your buddies, sorry about that. Maybe you should find some better online friends.

It didn’t matter at all that this woman has dedicated her life to poor people’s health issues and is the recipient of numerous awards in recognition of her service.

That’s all great. No problem until my tax dollars are paying for someone that is going to lecture the country on health that can’t live her own life in a healthy manner.

Swift boater Sam Wyly doesn’t register one iota in your puny mind while an Obama guy that’s behind a few hundred dollars is guilty of high crimes and misdemeanors.

Obama’s guy is the fucking head of the treasury.

Funny, when it’s a republican you love to blather on about the hypocrisy yet when it’s a democrat you make excuses.

So, tell me about your fellow democrat madoff.

  22. 33

    YLB spews:

@31 Ha! I struck a nerve. You’re bigoted against heavy people. I’ve seen pictures of her. She’s not all that heavy. My wife works in health care. She’s seen HEAVY people. Benjamin is moderate by comparison.

Shall I start quoting your “fat ass” remark?

    Let’s see what else?

Obama’s guy is the fucking head of the treasury.

Funny, when it’s a republican you love to blather on about the hypocrisy yet when it’s a democrat you make excuses.

Being behind on your taxes shouldn’t disqualify you from public office. You catch up and move on. Besides your country is calling on you to serve. On the other hand, being an obsessive cheater like Sam Wyly should disqualify.

    What else?

So, tell me about your fellow democrat madoff.

Who also gave money to Republicans. He’s in jail is he not? Didn’t he swindle people over the last eight years during the reign of the regime you keep apologizing for?

You didn’t strike anything besides your kids. But go ahead and call me a bigot, I know you and your fellow left wingnuts have been dying to jump on me like I did to headless, steve, gbs, rujax. The difference is, their remarks were bigoted. Hey, you only spoke out against steve. Like I said, you won’t speak out against a democrat again. And already I’m proving my point.

By comparison? She would easily classify as obese, just because others are more obese doesn’t make her any less obese.

Shall I start quoting your “fat ass” remark?

If it gets your dick hard, sure, go ahead. Make your wife happy with my blessings.
And I have a comment when I first started posting about fat people paying more for health insurance. That’s when lee acted like a tough guy and threatened to slap food out of my hands.

    Let’s see what else?

How about… do you feel that fat people should pay more for health insurance? After all, their bad choices cost money, shouldn’t they take personal responsibility.

Being behind on your taxes shouldn’t disqualify you from public office.

So for you, not paying taxes doesn’t disqualify you for office, yet you are whining about some wyly guy that never held a political office not paying taxes.
For you, letting a young woman drown in your car as you try and figure out how to use your family connections to get away with it doesn’t disqualify one from office.

You catch up and move on. Besides your country is calling on you to serve. On the other hand, being an obsessive cheater like Sam Wyly should disqualify.

the tax cheat heading the treasury wasn’t elected by America, he was selected.

So, tell me about your fellow democrat madoff.

Who also gave money to Republicans.

And lets not forget that abramoff guy gave money to democrats.

  24. 35

    YLB spews:

You didn’t strike anything besides your kids.

Ha! Like everything else from you a cheap shot. News to you: Neither me nor my wife has EVER raised a hand to my kids. Besides them squabbling a bit too much for my taste I’ve never had a problem with them. Like TORTURE, corporal punishment is totally unnecessary.

But go ahead and call me a bigot, I know you and your fellow left wingnuts have been dying to jump on me like I did to headless, steve, gbs, rujax.

You jumped on them for one reason: to advance your degenerate political agenda. Only when right wingers go totally out of bounds like manoftruth do you say anything and AFAIK only when prodded.

The difference is, their remarks were bigoted. Hey, you only spoke out against steve. Like I said, you won’t speak out against a democrat again. And already I’m proving my point.

I’ve said numerous times that ANYONE who breaks the law or shows themselves to be a hypocrite should face the consequences.

By comparison? She would easily classify as obese, just because others are more obese doesn’t make her any less obese.

Gee was Everett Koop a few pounds overweight? Did that disqualify him?

If it gets your dick hard, sure, go ahead. Make your wife happy with my blessings.

No. It’d just be entertaining to serve you up with your own crap. Again, Steve and GBS took back their remarks and AFAIK they haven’t sinned again. That’s what adults do. But AFAIK you still blast your lame quote. That’s what a schoolboy does.

And I have a comment when I first started posting about fat people paying more for health insurance. That’s when lee acted like a tough guy and threatened to slap food out of my hands.

Oh poor baby. Heat. Kitchen. next…

How about… do you feel that fat people should pay more for health insurance? After all, their bad choices cost money, shouldn’t they take personal responsibility.

Nope. Some people like Pima Indians are genetically pre-disposed to obesity. I’d try to find better ways to discourage bad behavior then ruinous health care insurance premiums.

So for you, not paying taxes doesn’t disqualify you for office,

Nope. Being BEHIND on your taxes shouldn’t. A pattern of willful cheating should however. And it’s really strange that right wingers are carping about people being behind on their taxes. They’re ALWAYS whining about taxes.

yet you are whining about some wyly guy that never held a political office not paying taxes.

He funded the swift boaters and other right wing causes so by cheating on his taxes he has financed his right wing agenda at the American taxpayer’s expense.

For you, letting a young woman drown in your car as you try and figure out how to use your family connections to get away with it doesn’t disqualify one from office.

That’s not what happened. That’s YOU projecting your fantasies again. And again it’s not my problem. Take it up with the people of MA. Why do you keep harping about it on a WA State comment board? Oh yeah! To advance your degenerate political agenda.

the tax cheat heading the treasury wasn’t elected by America, he was selected.

He was called upon by an elected official to serve his country. Short of committing a felony he should be allowed to serve. Oh by the way, he has to be confirmed by the Senate – that is an election of sorts.

And lets not forget that abramoff guy gave money to democrats.

Yep he did – very little compared to Republicans.

“It is important to hold those in power accountable.”

What the bloody fuck!??!!??! After eight year of military adventurism leaving our national treasury and reputation in shambles, NOW YOU CALL FOR HOLDING THOSE IN POWER ACCOUNTABLE??? You’re a fucking riot, Cynical. A RIOT!

“You KLOWNS seem to be under the Obama spell.”

Really? I think it is really you Wingnuts who are under Obama’s spell. You know…the spell that makes you believe everyone else is under his spell.

So Cynical, are you a Birfer and an Apollo moon landing denier, too?

“Just like the Health Care Plan Obama and his gang are trying to ram thru needs to be slowed down and vetted.”

If it is wrong for me to post about politicians outside of WA state,

Maybe not wrong but kind of stupid to harangue people who at the end of the day can’t do a thing about Teddy whether they like him or not.

You keep denigrating Democrats. I show the alternative is not viable.

So, you are posting a link over and over that has no connection to seattle or the state of washington.

No it’s not the same thing. It’s two different things done for different motivations. You post Teddy saying he’s evil and we support him. I say I can’t even vote for or against the guy. Why are you bothering? An idiot like Stupes says ACLU/Nambla/Democrats and I post the sex offender link with Republican perverts galore. You say Democrats evil, blah, blah, I post RepublicanOffenders with so called “conservatives” committing criminal acts.

If you want to believe that, go ahead. It’s a free country.

Here is a hint for ya, Squirt: You have to graduate from high school before you have professors….

Damn, you’re right. I guess there goes your assumption I didn’t graduate high school.

For a professor, you sure screwed the pooch on that one.

    Keep trying.

“So you’re blaming me for you insulting people.”

Blame? Where did I imply blame? No…I offered my “excuse” for being mean to you. As usual, your link with reality seems rather tenuous.

“Yet you respond to me like a puppet on a string.”

Oh? Another make-believe fact in Marvie–Doodle world?

Let’s bring some objective measures to the situation. A quick database search shows that, over the past 30 days you have posted 122 comments. I have responded to five of your comments, all in this thread, and by your “invitation” (@21).

Hardly “puppet on a string” material, even by Wingnut “reality is what I feel it should be” standards.

Damn, you’re right. I guess there goes your assumption I didn’t graduate high school.

What now you are suggesting that you’ve lied multiple times about dropping out of high school?

“For a professor, you sure screwed the pooch on that one.”

I feel soooooo betrayed. (Oh…the humanity!)

So me being a high school dropout is why you are trying to be mean to me. The key word is trying, in my life, you are as insignificant as your friend bibigoober.

You were the one that first said I was a high school dropout. I’ve been mocking you ever since.

But keep trying to be mean to me. Show me the best you’ve got. Or have I already seen the best you’ve got.

    Marvin,

“In other words, it is obvious. I’m not sure why as a college professor you can’t see it.”

Wait…let’s examine this in some detail. In comment 51, you stated:

If it doesn’t make you feel better insulting others, why do you always do it. I do it because I’m a high school dropout, what’s your excuse?

    So I asked you:

Were have I ever suggested (either way) my emotional response to insulting other?

You claim that “it is obvious. In otherword it is true because you believe it to be true (whereas I have made no claims either way).

You have committed the logical fallacy of petitio principii (or, as it is called in English, “begging the question”).

You have failed in your argument. (Big surprise.)

“So me being a high school dropout is why you are trying to be mean to me.”

More precisely, your overall inability to put forth cogent arguments (which is a correlate of being a high school dropout) sometimes leads to me being “mean” to you.

“The key word is trying, in my life, you are as insignificant as your friend bibigoober.”

Not sure who bibigoober is. Apparently someone else who gets under your skin….

“Keep responding to me to prove I’m not pulling your stings.”

But, but, but, Marvie Doodles…we are having a conversation. Isn’t a return-comment simply a normal and entirely rational consequence of being in a conversation???

“Yet you keep replying to me.”

Of course I do. In the same way you keep responding to my comments directed at you. That is how conversations take place. Person A says something to person B (as you did @21), and person B responds to person A. To which person A responds to person B, etc.

But other than this conversation, you argument is, objectively, complete bullshit, since I can rarely be bothered to respond to your childish drivel.

“You were the one that first said I was a high school dropout. I’ve been mocking you ever since.”

Well… perhaps I did in this thread. But otherwise you are wrong; you definitely said you were a high school drop-out before I ever raised the issue. Perhaps I first saw it here?

“But keep trying to be mean to me.”

    Okay.

“Show me the best you’ve got.”

Let’s not get carried away there, Squirt….

“Did you feel the strings move you? Hit submit comment like a good trained monkey.”

Oh man, Marvie, you are batting ZERO today. An extended, purposeful dialog using a symbolic language is not a skill that any monkey has ever been trained (or taught) to undertake.

(Oh…and don’t let your own comment discourage you from responding to this comment. Really…I won’t insinuate that you are a “trained monkey” or anything. Unlike you, I fully recognize “response” as a normal reaction during a conversation….)

“Darryl, you damn well know who bibigoober is and all of his other doppelgangers.”

Ahhhh, so…Marvin was referring to ByeByeGOP. I didn’t bother trying to decipher Stamn’s babble, and didn’t recognize that as a “nickname.” (FWIW, Puddy…I frequently have no idea who you are referring to in comment threads either. Your mutation of commenters’ monikers sometimes gets pretty obscure for those who don’t follow your conversations).

Considering I was the one who banned ByeByeGOP (only for a week, but thankfully he went away) it is pretty funny that Marvin refers to him (@56) as my “friend.” Just another example of Marvin’s detachment from reality!

    Puddybud is shocked SHOCKED spews:

Well Darryl, if you search the archives, the libtardos mutated Puddybud to something anal way before Puddy decided on clueless wonder, Pelletizer, etc. Puddy always wondered why libtardos have anal fetishes butt, that’s another story.

    spews:

    Puddybud @ 61,

“Well Darryl, if you search the archives, the libtardos mutated Puddybud to something anal….”

My comment wasn’t about whether or not someone’s name should be mutated. Rather it was about the extremes to which it is sometimes taken–at times leading to incoherence of the comment. For example, I’ve never noticed anyone using the name “bibigoober” prior to Marvin Stamn using it above. My first read treated the “i”s as short (as in “bit” or “bibliography”).

“Puddy always wondered why libtardos have anal fetishes butt, that’s another story.”

As I recall, you were “nicknamed” PuddyButt, but that was, to a large extent, your continual misspelling of “but” as “butt.” You used to do that a lot early on, then stopped for a long time. Now you are back at it (as you just did here). Odd, that.

“Not one democrat has signed on yet.”

Probably because (1) it is a non-binding resolution, and (2) it is a piece of Wingding political theatre, rather than a serious piece of legislation. Here is the resolution in full:

Expressing the sense of the House of Representatives that Members who vote in favor of the establishment of a public, federal government run health insurance option are urged to forgo their right to participate in the Federal Employees Health Benefits Program (FEHBP) and agree to enroll under that public option.

Resolved, That it is the sense of the House of Representatives that Members who vote in favor of the establishment of a public, Federal Government run health insurance option are urged to forgo their right to participate in the Federal Employees Health Benefits Program (FEHBP) and agree to enroll under that public option.

This largely demonstrates that Republicans are STILL not interested in doing anything for the good of their country, unless it advances the interest of their (dwindling) party.

    @64
This would be the greatest example to American people, that congress thinks the public health care system they are introducing, is good for ALL Americans, including the those paid to represent them.

This clearly is adressed to republicans, as well.
