Gregoire isn’t a slick politician or a very effective campaigner but she’s a fine governor and this state would be nuts to trade her for a slimeball like Rossi.

Wow, Palin is a complete fruitcake. We had a lot more freedom under the Clinton administration than we have had under Bush. Putting the taxes back to the 90’s levels would help people.

“And government kind of moving into the role as the other half of our family, making decisions for us. Now, they do this in other countries where the people are not free.” Like restricting women’s choice, who we can marry. And so much for states’ rights… Oh well…

Nice.. If you like living in an uncivil society and keeping everything you kill so much, move your ass to the tribal area of Pakistan and take your family with you.. Back to the issue at hand. I’d like to know how comparing growth, prosperity and freedom under a previous administration and tax plan to dismal growth, growing underclass and shrinking civil liberties of today make him an idiot…

Obama Leads By 16% In 7-Eleven Cup Poll
“Since Oct. 1 customers at 7-Eleven have been able to choose cup colors … Democratic blue or Republican red. The convenience store’s previous Presidential cup polls, in 2000 and 2004, accurately predicted the winners …. As of Oct. 7 the running tally from 5,375 participating stores … shows Obama ahead, 58% to 42%.” (Quoted from Business Week under fair use.)

You are just making a fool of yourself by calling someone unemployed because they think a sensible tax plan taxes the rich more. That has been the way the graduated income tax has worked for close to 100 years – until the republicans put in loopholes for the rich (and the corporations) and then cut the corporate tax rate and the rich peoples tax rate.
I suppose you like paying interest on the largest budget deficit in history – caused by Bush and the republicans.
It is not socialism – it is restoring balance to the tax system. It is time to tax corporations who move jobs overseas – McCain won’t do that. I consider that to be unamerican. I also consider not wanting to close tax loopholes for corporations unamerican. that is called fairness – and being against fairness is unamerican.
