Let me say right off that I truly love this person in the Lord, but I do not trust him. I want to be able to help this person as well as understand this person. However, there is something about him that conflicts with my spirit and I cannot put my finger on what it is.
I am asking God for discernment to know if this person has truly converted or has been sent by the enemy to infiltrate the church by gaining our trust. This person has given a considerable amount of money to the church and has a very controlling personality. There are frequent outbursts of attention seeking behavior, especially during prayer time or worship, like gasping for air as though choking, which stops what is going on and draws attention to him. He states that this was an “spiritual attack”.
I believe this person is astro projecting to watch people in the church. A new baby Christian came to me and told me that he had a vision in the night of this person watching him. THis really concerns me, as astro projection is something this person practiced in the past and has spoken about.

Point is, authors can be ahead of their own time, but behind ours. They can be brilliant but flawed. Indeed, Billy is one of America’s more honorable bigots.
Having been a practicing Pagan for nearly 40 years, I find many of these arguments interesting. Old and far too familiar but interesting.
Pagans are of many beliefs and dogmas. Some are Pagan because of how they were raised, lashing out at their strict Christian upbringing. Some come to Paganism through study and investigation. Others happen upon it through friends and social encounters. No one is forced to become Pagan.
One of my dearest friends had a daughter who married into a devout Baptist family. She converted and went into full Bible Thumper mode. Her minister and fellow churchers drove a steel wedge between her and her mother. When her mother was diagnosed with cancer, our Circle came together for her healing. There was much love at the ceremony but no daughter.
Toward the end, we nurtured her and prepared her for her journey to the Summerlands (Pagan Heaven, if you will) All she got from her daughter was “You’re going to Hell.” She passed with all of her friends and loved one nearby with one disappointing exception, her daughter.
Now, some years later, her daughter has taken her kids and left the Church. She has great regret for what the Baptist church convinced her to do while her mother was ill. Her mother died without her daughter near and this weighs heavily on her. She will feel a great hole in her heart for the rest of her life because of this.
Pagans are people. They are your neighbors, the clerk at the grocery store or the guy who delivers the pizza. They are lawyers and doctors, business people and teachers, from all parts of the community. They are us.
Read what Beckoner said @6 and @12. This is what mainstream Christians think of Pagans. If a teacher is outed as a Pagan, they will lose their job. A clerk at a Mom and Pop store could be asked to leave for no other reason than the way their exercise their ‘freedom of religion’.
We can dismiss Beckoner as a loon here but he is not alone. If a witch was to be lynched today, how big a crowd would gather?
@ 22 – Leave the comedy to conservatives. Progressives are never funny no matter how hard they try, because they don’t apply themselves, instead expecting the Government to be funny for them. This in part explains why Stephen Colbert is funny, but his progressive counterpart, John Stewart is too painful for words. Before you embarrass yourself again, you should read George Wallace’s 1965 “Reflections on Satire and Humor from the Montgomery County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office”. This seminal work is a must read for any aspiring satirist.
As a non-believer in any an all of that (atheists dogma, too), I find the “Bible Study” a great source of comedy.
Witches, a Republican being funny once 45 years ago, Pagans (the other white meat), Republicanism as a religion, every week a good laugh. Thanks to you, Goldy.

This is an organization that generally rates religious charities with disdain, feeling that a christian ministry undermines ‘true’ charity. I chose this rating only so that no claim of bias could be made on account of source. For personal use, I use a different rating service for charities.
Zotz sez: Moses' loins itched like crazy after he girded them in the burning bush! spews:
Shorter 24: My pussy itches and I need to change my tampon.
Sarah spews:
Yeesh, Goldy, get these things right by looking in the Jewish scriptures, not the Christian OT.
Ex. 22.17 says You shall not tolerate a sorceress. (Doesn’t say put to death)
Ex 22.18 says Whoever lies with a beast shall be put to death.
lostinaseaofblue spews:
Off to take the dogs to the off leash park. Have a nice Sunday.
Steve spews:
Billy Graham’s anti-Semitism? “Synagogue of Satan”?? Eh, whatever. What’s really important is that his books are open.
rob spews:
@21,
more Xian hatred of women. Nice of you to share.
And 22, WTF? Are you trying to make satire? It’s too close to your honestly expressed beliefs to be sure one way or the other.
lostinaseaofblue spews:
Kids are still putting stuff together, so time for a last comment.
Rob,
Lighten up. It was just intended for humor, not a heavy comment on women and their role in society and faith. Sheesh. Actually the Devils Dictionary is good light fun.
I didn’t write 22, take it up with whoever did. You know, the guy who thinks the Spanish Inquisition is a current event.
BTW, Christian isn’t spelled with an X. Thought you should know, as you seem confused.
Zotz,
Grow up. Only adolescent boys think words like ‘pussy’ and the concept of crotch itch funny. I bet you still think fart jokes are hilarious too.
Steve,
Anti semitism? I’m unfamiliar with any of that in Grahams record.
rob spews:
@31,
apologies for the 22 comment. But, Xmas, Xian, no confusion at all. If you can use the shorthand for one, you can use it for the other.
lostinaseaofblue spews:
Rob,
Off to the park. If you do read the Devils Dictionary, there is a palpable note of misogyny in it. But there’s funny stuff about politics, and more to the point for you, religion in it as well.
I like Mark Twain, but don’t use the word ‘nigger’ either mentally or verbally. I like Dante, but don’t buy the concept of purgatory. And I like Bierce, but this doesn’t make me a misogynist. Point is, authors can be ahead of their own time, but behind ours. They can be brilliant but flawed. It doesn’t pay to pick them apart on this basis, when simply enjoying what and who they are is much easier and more rewarding.
SJ spews:
@23 LSIB
I gather you like him. Fine. But why would you hold this wealthy man up as an exemplar?
Has he given to the poor?
Has he shown courage in opposing war or supporting the rights of the underprivileged?
As for his salary, tell me grasshopper how he became wealthy n this modest salary? Did he pay for his mansion out of his penury?
My taste in the good and godly runs more to those willing to give of themselves.
Steve spews:
@31 “I’m unfamiliar with any of that in Grahams record.”
The Nixon tapes. Have you ever heard of those?
After signing on to a bigoted Tricky D rant, Billy G sez to him, “They don’t know how I really feel about what they’re doing to this country.”
It looks like you don’t know much about Billy either.
Liberal Scientist spews:
@35
and it was Graham’s coziness with Nixon that I most had in mind when I included him in my comment above. These people, like Republicans in general, are in thrall of power – they lust after it and do anything they can to be near it, or grab some for themselves. Their particular MO is just to play the holy man/woman on TV. It’s still all about fleecing the rubes.
spyder spews:
Perhaps we can weigh her. If she sinks she is dies in innocent honor; if she floats she needs to be killed as a witch. Did someone call the Spanish Inquisition? “Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition”
for the record, the Nixon tapes!
Liberal Scientist spews:
NOBODY expects the Spanish Inquisition
Steve spews:
@23 “Want to talk hypocrisy? Fine. It exists. Want to slander one of the most honorable men in America based on your bigotry? That shows more about you than about Billy Graham.”
Indeed, Billy is one of America’s more honorable bigots.
David Aquarius spews:
If a witch was to be lynched today, how big a crowd would gather?
dan robinson spews:
Which witch?
lostknowsfunnyandyouaintit spews:
@ 22 – Leave the comedy to conservatives. Progressives are never funny no matter how hard they try, because they don’t apply themselves, instead expecting the Government to be funny for them. This in part explains why Stephen Colbert is funny, but his progressive counterpart, John Stewart is too painful for words. Before you embarrass yourself again, you should read George Wallace’s 1965 “Reflections on Satire and Humor from the Montgomery County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office”. This seminal work is a must read for any aspiring satirist.
Mr. Baker spews:
As a non-believer in any an all of that (atheists dogma, too), I find the “Bible Study” a great source of comedy.
Witches, a Republican being funny once 45 years ago, Pagans (the other white meat), Republicanism as a religion, every week a good laugh. Thanks to you, Goldy.
Proud To Be An Ass spews:
To all,
(1.) Graham’s remarks about Jews is standard issue wingnut crap, and not at all unusual…but his praise for Comrade Kim Ill Sung (the Great and Glorious Leader of the Inevitable Great and Good Proletarian Revolution) is, well…odd.
(2.) Accumulating several million dollars over 50+ years running his tent shows would not be that hard. Absent evidence to the contrary, he appears to not be overly greedy (of course the ministry pays for all those overseas trips!).
Derek Young spews:
Wow, we’ve gone pretty far down the rabbit hole today.
Beckoner spews:

“We can dismiss Beckoner as a loon here but he is not alone. If a witch was to be lynched today, how big a crowd would gather?”
Am I a loon? I will tell you what, if Beck were to burn a witch on Fox his ratings would go through the roof!
Beckoner spews:
As for your being a pagan, give us all a break,
Remember Emperor Julian, that SOB was a real pagan, a P-H-I-L-O-S-O-P-H-E-R, not some hobbyist who collects feathers and talk to trees.
And what happened to Julian, a guy LOTS brighter than you?
Pagans have a BIG problem buddy, Jesus lived .. he is a real historical character. Your ‘gods” are a real as a baby’s phantom friend or fairy tales old by ignorant savages before civilization, under the sign of the cross, spread truth across the world!
Beckoner spews:
To the doubters ..
Look at the evidence for God in this blog:
Unless LSIB IS “Sarah” this seems to much of a coincidence not to be the voice of God speaking through the Apostate Goldstein’s blog.
Anyone want to bet that my good friend LSIB SLEEPS WITH HIS DOG???
More evidence that Jews hate Christians.
Anyone who would trust the Jews to translate our bible is either a witch or a a Jew herself.!
lostinaseaofblue spews:
In an attempt to be helpful-
My dogs do sleep on the bed with my wife and I. Therefore, I suppose they do sleep with me. Not in the sense intended in the Exodus cite or in Beckoners posting, but they do.
I’ll leave the referees to decide if anyone wins a bet here.
manoftruth spews:
you all make me laugh. if some wiccan wanted to go to a catholic school and wanted equal time to pray to the devil, you’d all be screaming bloody murder if she couldnt. and the adl and aclu would be filing suit in every court. so funny.
Steve spews:
Lostinanutshell –
“Camus wrote, “The suffering of children was the bread of our affliction, and yet without this bread, we would die of spiritual hunger.” That’s why I enjoy kicking orphans. It lifts my spirit. FDR was a traitor! How dare you besmirch Billy “Synagogue of Satan” Graham! He is one of the most honorable men in America! The poor are shiftless and lazy. That’s why they’re poor! Unemployment insurance and welfare promote shiftlessness and laziness, and therefore more poverty. If you’re ill and have no insurance for whatever reason, please have the good graces to go be sick and die where I can’t see you. I’m a small “l” libertarian-Republican who votes for the GOP and FDR was a traitor! My idea of limited government includes waging endless war on Islam, no taxes on the producers, denying gays equal rights and the pursuit of happiness, and monitoring women’s wombs to catch those horrid murderesses before they kill our nation’s little baby zygotes and blastocysts. Did I mention that FDR was a traitor?”
sarge spews:
Anyone wonder why none of the “witches” O’Donnell palled around with, or that guy that took her on the date to a late-satanic ritual at an alter with blood and stuff, have never turned up to claim their 15 minutes of fame?
It’s because they don’t exist. She made it up. How do I know? because if she “dabbled” in witchcraft, she would know something about it. Satanic rituals at the alter have nothing to do with Wicca. It didn’t happen.
She made it up like a school kid trying to impress by concocting an outlandish story.
Beckoner spews:
@49
LSIB sleeps with his dog!
Shocking. Another damned liberal passing as a conservative.
Even worse, claiming to know the intent of God!
David Aquarius spews:
@53
…Even worse, claiming to know the intent of God!
Pot meet Kettle.
Also, what is a ‘real’ Pagan? For that matter, what is a ‘real’ Christian? Who gets to decide and stick the label on them?
Steve spews:
“Who gets to decide and stick the label on them?”
Around here, that’d be Puddy and Klynical.
worf spews:

Don’t forget their little friend, Lost. I’m starting to think those three live in the same trailer park.
Beckoner spews:
@56
So what am I .. toast with a picture of Obama burned in?
Politically Incorrect spews:
“Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live.”
Actually, the ORIGINAL word was “poisoner.” King James was such a virulent anti-witchcraft guy that he had them change the wording to match his insanity against the “witches” of the world. it should have said:
Thou shalt not suffer a poisoner to live.
Just another little example of the Bible not being literally true most of the time. It was invented as they went along, as was most of civilization.

Nah. Haven’t seen Puddy or Cynical from the plastic pool in my front yard. Maybe I can’t see them past the 16 plastic flamingos and my 68 Dart on blocks though.
