    The juxtaposition of the post and the poll for impeaching Obama just to the right suggests that someone has been struck by consumption, pestilence and plague….fortunately not me but my Republican friends, well, the loopy ones, seem to be afflicted. Also looks like John Boehner has come down with something.

    Mass Shooting Of The Day (TM)

    What would Christmas be without another crazy person with a gun taking innocent lives? Today we have an ambush of volunteer firefighters responding to a house fire in upstate New York. Two firefighters are dead and two wounded in what police are calling “a trap.” The shooter is dead after a police pursuit. No word yet on the type of weapon used in this latest gun rampage.

    The gun nutters are exercising their constitutional right to shoot firefighters.

    Two Webster firefighters are dead and several houses on Lake Road burned after someone opened fire on firefighters who responded to an early morning blaze, officials said.

    Two other firefighters are in guarded condition at Strong Memorial Hospital with gunshot wounds, according to a hospital spokeswoman.

    The chief, choking up, called the incident that shattered the quiet before 6 a.m. on Christmas Eve morning “terrible.”

    “People get up in the middle of the night to fight fires,” he said. “They don’t expect to get shot and killed.“

    In America, we should all expect to have the FREEDOMZ to be shot and killed at any moment …whether it is attending grade school, shopping, or putting out your neighbor’s house fire as a volunteer.

    @19 shows how dangerous a situation can become, and how quickly it can turn deadly, when hot-heads have guns. Contrary to what the screwball with the pistol may have believed, what he did was not lawful self-defense, and the state should have prosecuted him for felony assault so he couldn’t possess guns in the future. Not to mention that flashing a gun to the wrong person, in the manner this guy does in the video, could get him shot.

    That’s why I voted for Ron Paul for president in the 2008 and 2012 elections. Ron Paul gets it: it’s the Constitution that matters, not government domination of the economy to reward political friends, punish political enemies and to get re-elected, over and over again.

    The major political parties are just a bunch of self-serving assholes.
