    (Reuters) — Cambodia’s prime minister said on Thursday he has nominated US President Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize, lauding his “extraordinary statesmanship” in halting a border conflict between Cambodia and Thailand.

    Hun Manet made the announcement in a Facebook post late on Thursday, accompanied by a letter he said had been sent to the Norwegian Nobel Committee hailing Trump’s intervention as an example of his “exceptional achievements in de-escalating tensions in some of the world’s most volatile regions”.

    “This timely intervention, which averted a potentially devastating conflict, was vital in preventing a great loss of lives and paved the way towards the restoration of peace,” the Cambodian leader wrote in the letter.

    Pakistan said in June that it would recommend Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize for his work in helping to resolve a conflict with India, and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said last month he had nominated Trump for the award.

    It is alleged that Tompkins pressured Individual A for stock, reminding Individual A that Tompkins had helped Company A in its Boston licensing efforts. It is alleged that Individual A believed and feared that Tompkins would use his official position as Sheriff to jeopardize Company A’s partnership with the SCSD and thus imperil both the dispensary license for Company A, as well as the timing of the IPO. In fact, in October 2020, Company A asked Tompkins for an updated partnership letter to submit to the CCC for its yearly renewal of Company A’s Boston license. Within one month of signing the October 2020 SCSD partnership letter with Company A, and after increased pressure on Individual A, Tompkins allegedly obtained a pre-IPO interest in Company A stock after Individual A relented to Tompkins’s demands.

    Roland Bianchi, owner of Trump Burger came to the US on a temporary work visa in 2019. That expired in February ‘24.

    The normal procedure is to apply for another Visa well ahead of expiration. If granted the person must visit an embassy outside the US (Leave by the date of the current visa) and return with the new one. It is not clear if Bianchi applied and was denied or if he just overstayed intentionally. Bottom line, he has no legal ability to be in the United States.
