    CEO Chris Licht felt he was on a mission to restore the network’s reputation for serious journalism. How did it all go wrong?
    He thinks Trump supporters want facts? Seriously?

    The entire plan CNN for the future of the network apparently involves pissing off a ton of their viewers and then replacing them with a demographic that has been programmed to hate CNN for the last decade, and who are pathologically averse to changing their minds about things. How could this possibly fail?

    Their previous viewers will no longer trust them so forget about getting that demographic back any time soon.

    Since you keep telling us your market timing skills are perfect, it follows that you loaded up on 3M last Wednesday when it bottomed at $93 and already have a 10% gain, yes?

    As for me, with my inferior crystal ball, I’ll sit on my $120 shares, collecting my 5% yield-on-cost, until I can sell them for $200 or so. Value Line could be wrong, of course. Republicans might sweep the 2024 elections and push the U.S. into a depression with their stupid economic policies. One thing they won’t do, though, is fail to raise the debt ceiling to cover more borrowing for more tax cuts for the rich. Investors never have to worry about default when Republicans are doing the borrowing.

    May I ask as well why, when 3M is paying out 79% of its profits in dividends, you tout its dividend as if it’s a strong point, when what really is happening is 3M is paying out its CapEx potential to shareholders so that more of them don’t ditch the stock? Dividend payouts that high are usually made by utility stocks, which have no real growth potential.

    Robinhood Dumbfuck Rabbit needs the dividend income. It’s why he keeps holding dogs – he can’t make the tax payments on the family shithole without their dividends.

And CapEx hit an all-time high last year. Not exactly a basket case. Forward P/E is 13.7 on depressed earnings. What does dumbfuck glom onto? Tesla’s 60-plus P/E. Excelsior! Hey, I don’t know if 3M is a better stock than Tesla. I just play the numbers.

    I understand how this claim helps reassure your diminished self esteem. You’ve been very badly deceived and abused over many years by a partner you had come to trust and rely upon. Seeing them admit at the highest level that they were knowingly and intentionally abusing that trust is probably devastating. Most pointedly because learning the truth now prompts you to doubt your own intelligence and judgement. You may also begin to question your fundamental value as a human being worthy of respect. It’s very understandable that you will want to deny all this and to minimize it for your own sake.

    But it doesn’t change that FOX is quite unique as a major broadcast news company for having admitted in sworn testimony at the very highest levels of corporate management that the company uses deliberate targeted lying to it’s audience as part of a carefully planned business strategy to manipulate that audience.

    Things like high net worth estate taxes, billionaire taxes, higher marginal rates, closing billionaire loopholes, capital gains taxes, corporate minimum taxes, high quality public schools, universal health care, minimum worker protection from wage theft, equal pay, pay transparency, environmental regulation, workforce retraining, and cracking down on financial industry corruption are all things aggressively opposed by Bezos, Sulzberger, Parker, DiPiazza, Redstone and the rest. And we all know it.
