    Looking at the model, New Flyer XDE35, probably Rt50. Only 2 passengers, but that is just normal for THAT segment of this crosstown route from Alki to Othello Station. As a former user of Rt50,, many riders take to to connect with RapidRide C, LINK 1 Line, Rt36, 106, or 7. One of the routes it replaced was the 39 Seward Park, which dated back to a feeder bus of the Seattle Municipal Street Railway. For a long time, the 39 under Seattle Transit, and even Metro, terminated at the Hunter Blvd terminus of Rt14.

    Waiting on the cause, and more details, but could be driver error on the part of the bus driver. The route I take from U-District to work travels through parts of Wallingford and Fremont, and many times tge driver has to be quick on the horn because motorists tries to box the bus in.

    When a woman in Citrus County, Fla., stumbled into her home in the early morning hours of April 2 with significant injuries, her roommate tried to assist her and find out what happened.     Update on yesterdays Metro Bus accident on the West Seattle Bridge. Appears the driver was trying to merge, when they corrected to avoid hitting another vehicle. Then hit the barrier. Initially only 2 passengers, but that was just the number reported injuries. It was carrying 4 passengers, again, from the few times I’ve ridden this segment, around the average numbers for it. The C-Line, different story, being a Rapid Trunk Line. Wonder if the traffic camera got the other vehicle,.

    Either way, a motorist should not be trying to beat a bus, the minimum length of busses on the WSB is 35ft.

    As for the bus, looks like only front-end damage, could be repaired, no need for a one way transfer to South Campus in Tukwilla.
