I’m still at maybe. For sure somebody is going to get indicted. Somebody, we don’t know who just yet, made a conscious, willful, knowing decision to defy a lawful subpoena, and withhold hundreds of highly classified documents in a basement closet in a private sex club. There will be criminal charges from that. But we don’t really know for sure how directly culpable Trump was. It is conceivable that his lawyers kept him completely in the dark, or at least enough in the dark that he was not fully aware that the law was being broken.
I think however that it’s pretty likely that the Attorney General is angry with Trump and Trump’s people about this. How that plays out in this case would seem to me to be a lot less caution about the political impacts, especially as Trump’s popularity in the GOP declines. That’s a mixed bag, as we are guaranteed that a whole bunch of newly minted Trumpaloompa idiots are heading to the House in a few months. So in reality Trump’s media access and political status will rise in the months ahead.
Either way, indicted or not, I’m still very confident Trump will run for president. And I’m equally confident that there is a very hard floor of support for him within the Republican party somewhere right around 30%. That’s going to make for a shitshow of a Republican primary no matter what.

They’ve been late on rent three of the last four months. I’ve told them to leave.
Rental RE has been a decent long-term investment, but it comes with either a requirement to manage, or a willingness to turn management over to others. We did the latter and didn’t like the result. We no longer wish to do the former.
Cashing out now. The rentals served their purpose. We’ll sell the last one in a couple of years.
