    Here is another math problem for Bob.

    At age 59 1/2, I will have X amount of money in the 401k. Assuming that that X grows @ a piddly 3.25% per annum and I only withdraw 25,000 on an annual basis going forward (living off that income as well as th 26,000 annual income I would recieve from SS starting at age 62 (early), I would still be left with over $1,250,000 at age 100 in the 401k. Oh and I would supplement the income from 59.5 yeast to 62, before SS, with my personal savings account as necessary. But I don’t even plan for SS, fuck it. I plan as if I have to use all my 401k, $0 at age 100.

    And with all proper planning that is in the works, if it came down to it and necessary, my personal living expense will essentily be no greater than $3,000 / month. Sure inflation – I know!

    Some insight now into what exactly the DOJ is tiptoeing around in figuring out how to investigate the Jan 6th terror attack on the Capitol that left 140 police injured.

    Thursday night on CNN Rep. Carlos Gimenez (R) FL appeared on CNN and in an effort to deflect blame from Trump for the events that would unfold that day described being told by people in his hotel room on the morning of Jan 6th, hours before Trump would speak, that they were planning the attack. The next day the Representative’s COS clarified his remarks and said the talk about planning the attacks came from people attending a reception event held in the lobby areas of the hotel and were made by armed men wearing military style tactical clothing and equipment.

    Months of political promotion had preceded the rally and speaker’s agenda at the White House that morning. Having lost the election it was to be perhaps Trump’s last opportunity to use the presidency and the White House as a prop and a stage. Throughout the impeachment hearing in December and leading up to the vote in the Senate, GOP members from both chambers, as a way of demonstrating their loyalty, invited and encouraged constituents to come to DC for the event. Many offered to host people from their states and districts. And an ecosystem of receptions, meetings, and other gatherings sprang up preceding and surrounding the White House main event.

    These events were attended by those who would later carry out the terror attack on the Capitol. They included prominent members of Proud Boys, Oath Keepers, and 3 Percenters who have since been indicted on multiple criminal charges associated with the terror attack.

    The COS in his statement Friday says he immediately notified Capitol Police and the FBI. But so far no record of any such notification has been uncovered. And the Representative’s COS has had no further comment for the media about what was seen and heard that morning. But investigators are now interested in knowing the identities of the “armed men wearing tactical gear” who revealed their planning to the Representative and his staff that morning.

    However proceeding further at this point is fraught and politically charged. The kinds of political gatherings that took place that morning and the night before, and organized by Republican members of Congress, affiliated lobbyists, PACs, and Republican Party state and national orgs, are specifically protected activities. Moreso since they are so closely associated with one of the two major parties and their members in Congress (although that should not in fact make any difference, it does).

    Which is why it becomes all the more imperative for main justice and AG Garland to step in and appoint a special counsel. Line prosecutors do not have the authority to independently make the needed inquiries. FBI agents will not initiate without specific direction from line prosecutors via liaison. But obviously those currently engaged in investigating the people who directly participated in the terror attack that morning need to know important details about the level of planning and their activities immediately before hand.

    I guess I need to clarify 14 and 19.

    The state of Virginia is an open carry state that honors all out-of-state concealed carry permits and is fully reciprocal with all but one other state. There is no doubt or credible debate at this point that thousands of the Jan 6th rioters and most of those who participated directly in the terror attack on the Capitol booked lodging or stayed overnight as guests in Virginia and other surrounding areas.

    Filings in the DC circuit relating to their charging and pretrial detention feature security images of these terror suspects entering and leaving hotels, and public spaces openly carrying sidearms, carrying gun cases, pushing trolleys loaded with gun cases, loading SUVs and trucks with guns and gun cases, and passing firearms among themselves. This is all legal. And in Virginia, as an open carry state with generous reciprocity with other states, there would be no reason for any of this to arouse the suspicion of law enforcement ahead of the attacks, per se. Nor would innkeepers or other places of public accommodation have specific reason to bar such persons outside of normal policy.

    For a guy who has been caught blatantly lying so many times, including most recently his laughably inept fabrication of fake “FB friends in CO” in order to troll the Biden CDC, Bob should have learned by now to be more thoughtful about his “hot takes” and “burns”. He has beclowned himself again. I don’t frankly give a fuck at this point what fables these credulous tools use to reassure themselves that they might still be “the good guys”. It is simply a matter of record at this point that in the 36 hours before the terror attack thousands of well armed Trump supporters descended on the DC metro area in adjacent states, in some cases within walking distance of Congress.
