    Based on the new Cypriot banking documents NBC uncovered this week, it looks very likely that Mueller’s got both Manafort and his PR flak Maloni on obstruction. He may also have Manafort on perjury. Since the money appears to have originated from the opium trade, I would bet that Mueller will take his time to try to tie the money up. That way even if Fuckface starts penning blanket pardons Mueller can retain financial leverage over cooperating witnesses.

    A Treason win in 2020 will most likely come down to Mich, Fla, Ohio, PA, and Wis. totaling 93 EVs.
    37 EVs swung the race in 2016.
    I see absolutely no evidence of Treason gaining ground so far in swing states. In four of those five states (Mich, Fla, PA, and Wis.) the margins were very, very close (0.6% swing or less). On a state by state basis the Treason win and the victim vote totals that put Treason over were concentrated in fewer than 25 pathetic beer-drunk, Oxy-crushing counties.

    So combine a reasonably appealing Loyal American Democratic candidate who hasn’t forcibly fingered fucked teenagers, with a competent ground game, a serial rapist Traitor incumbent with record shattering low approval, zero positive record for the incumbent to run on, ongoing Russian Treason criminal indictments punctuated by embarrassingly inexplicable pardons, and continuing economic decline in the upper midwest Oxy-crushing counties, and the Treason Team faces an unclear path. Pump Loyal American turnout and enough of those states, and EVs flip.

    Consider this: The Traitors have a pretty serious enthusiasm puzzle to solve when dedicated hashtag trolls, lunatic moral warrior cultists, and fake libertardians won’t even admit to supporting their candidate except by mistake. And with each passing week and each raving 3am rage-Tweet it only gets worse.

    The writer leaves out one important step in the process. That Congress does the final act in the selection of the President and Vice President. The electoral colleges votes are counted in front of Congress and Congress can challenge the validity of a states votes, and it has in the past, and once caused the election to be decided by the House.

    Ultimately Congress certifies the election of President and Vice President, or does the final choosing if need be. This makes any other action moot. If the election is hacked by a foreign power and it’s found out later to be true the person in the White House is still President, unless Congress does a coup by impeachment. Short of that action nothing should be done. The President continues to be called Mr. or Madam President.

    Though just maybe it would be time to pass the Title of Nobilities constitutional amendment. And that other one on apportionment of the House that are waiting to be passed by a number of states.

    @27 There is nothing wrong with a board giving someone or an entity a promissory note, unless it’s simply not in the best interest of the charity or organization. It may be stupid move, but boards are allowed to be stupid. Especially if there are no members, and only donors. Donors are required to do due diligence.

    The only part here that is highly questionable is the board not reporting the full compensation to at least one officer. Whether or not compensation was in line with the persons duties aside, that is enough for the IRS to pull the non-profit status, apply taxes to the organizations income, and fines. So there is a clear governance problem here. though I don’t see how you get to treason or other such comments. There maybe board members who have not done their duties. Proving that though means the individual board member could end up paying outstanding taxes or end up paying the promissory note out of pocket after a lot of legal suits and dickering. .

    If Trump can get 3% growth between now and the election and he’s the Republican nominee he will win the election. Even with growth below three percent as long as there is growth he will be the incumbent and likely to win. And unlike Obama he seems to have a bit more political savvy, and is helping his friends in Congress. And if your on his shit list he may just make sure certain Republican’s are challenged in the primaries. This is a good thing for candidates, if they survive they are better candidates, if they fail they are dead wood, and the winner has generated some vibe, and excitement and has a good chance of winning.
    Even if Trump splits the Republican party it doesn’t mean Democrats are going to do well in the upcoming mid term elections. Democrats have a lot of ground to make up, and have to come out of their bastions on the coasts, and the Democratic elites on the coasts need to be shaken up a little. Maybe that will happen when Nancy Pelosi becomes a dead parrot during the primary. Democrats have a very short leadership team in the Congress and most of them are shall we say old, and not a lot of young leaders, while the Republicans have just that.

    And folks Congress is where the real action and power is.

    @19 Well the future is now, and the voter pamphlet I just got in the mail is really thin. It’s the amazing disappearing voter pamphlet. Only a couple of things to vote on and I think one office will be on the ballet. I will vote, but I doubt there will be any big results. And unfortunately I will not get much choice in the upcoming elections next year. Since the Democrats have a near monopoly and could like in California make the monopoly deeper and become irrelevant on the national scale. Not like any Republican will visit here soon except to collect checks from the remaining Republican’s who are more than 20 miles from the ocean or Puget Sound shore.
    Such a monopoly is never good when it’s Republican or Democratic the citizens of the US loose out. I’d like to see some strong Republican candidates actually run campaigns here in Washington state for Governor, Senate and in some of the Democratic stronghold in western Washington.
    I would not have a problem if the Progressives split from the Democratic party, and the Republicans split and we would have 4 strong parties. This would be good for our democracy, but I doubt it will happen due to the power of the dominate two party system, that is corrupting our Republic, only thing worse would be one dominate party. Of course some of you true believers on here would support that as long as it’s the Democratic party. Might as well be the NAZI or Communist party, but such things are survivable comrade.
