    Tuesday was election day in British Columbia, and control of the BC Government hinges on the Vancouver Island seat of Courtney-Comox and just a 9 vote margin. Absentee ballot and a recount could still see the BC Liberal candidate, a former commander at CFB Comox win. If the NDP does take the seat, it blocks the BC Liberal Party from a 5th straight majority, with the seat count at 43-41-3. The NDP path to government was blocked by defeats in the Interior, Fraser Valley, and Skeena to the Libs and Saabich North and the Islands and the Cowichan Valley to the Greens. If the current totals stand, the Greens will hold the balance of power in Victoria.
