There is some shit going around, unverifiable at this point, that there are recordings of the Pilot apparently ceding the controls to the co-pilot for a bathroom break. Then the co-pilot apparently locking the flight deck door and repetitively praying for several minutes before the transponder and communications system is shut off. So I dunno what to make of that other than being another internet rumor.
I doubt this aircraft will ever be found. It could be anywhere. The Indian Ocean is a big place.
