DLBottleWe’re back to Tuesday. That means the Seattle Chapter of Drinking Liberally will gather at the Roanoke to engage in conversation, celebration, commemoration and commensuration over a cocktail. Stop by, if you can.

We meet tonight and every Tuesday at the Roanoke Park Place Tavern, 2409 10th Ave E, Seattle. You’ll find us in the back room of the pub. We start at 8:00pm.

Chapters of Living Liberally are all over the place…if you can’t make it to the Seattle chapter, stop by another chapter near you.

    So about that letter to civil servants telling them to return to office or take a buyout and resign.

    The IT folks in my life have their hair on fire. It was sent as a plain text message, no encoding and included an opt it button to resign in the body of the email,

    Assuming the Tech Freaks now trying to run the show knew what they were doing about cybersecurity many people forwarded it to the press. So now that it’s out there, anyone can copy the code for the resign button and if you know the proper email of a Federal employee….resign them.

    Also those unencoded buttons in an email are a really high hacking risk as it gives someone with the knowledge, or even a small amount of Chrome “Inspect Page” skills the destination IP that is naturally a US Government server somewhere.

    Like for real.

    And they are worried about the security breech possibilities of TikTok.

    Trump is getting back at Gen. Mark Milley the only way he can: Revoking his security clearance and pulling his personal security detail.

    Hegseth will also direct a review to consider if Milley should be stripped of a star in retirement based on actions that “undermine the chain of command,” Fox News reported on Tuesday.

    Of course it will be stripped and his retirement pay cut.

    As a middle eastern and Muslim voter, I will not be voting for Biden/Harris in 2024.
    I cannot vote for a cabinet that willfully murders innocent civilians and is complicate in a genocide.
    Sorry folks, can’t be me. This decision has been made.
