    Vice President Kamala Harris will be in Houston Friday to cap off the first week of early voting in Texas with a campaign rally.

    I have a question for Darryl, who might or might not be listening.

    The pollsters disfavored Trump in 2016 and in 2020. I am reading that they are striving to do better this year.

    My question: What types of changes might a pollster make in procedure in an effort to improve accuracy? Other than selecting for the likeliest of voters and increasing sample size, I have no idea.

    Tulsi will be an obvious choice for Vice President Vance when he becomes the de facto RNC nominee in 2028.

    Well, that was exactly what Jay Inslee was doing in 2020. He wasn’t actually thinking he could get the nom for president: he was think Joe would make him something like the Secretary of the EPA when Joe won. It didn’t happen, of course, and I don’t know why Inslee didn’t get a cabinet job with Biden’s team.

    If Tulsi is angling for a cabinet position, she’s doing what a lot of these politicians do – looking out for herself and her career.
