We meet tonight and every Tuesday at the Roanoke Park Place Tavern, 2409 10th Ave E, Seattle. You’ll find us in the small room at the back of the tavern or, perhaps, on the back patio. We start at 8:00pm.

    Sometimes local politics does not mirror national politics. Seattle forced out Ed Mole in September of 2017. How did King County vote in the 2016 presidential election?

    “I think the elixir for Florida’s economic growth has been population growth,” says Sean Snaith, director of the University of Central Florida’s Institute for Economic Forecasting. “It’s not a bug, it’s a feature.”

    Indeed, data used in the Best States analysis shows Florida saw an average net migration rate over the past three years of 1.68%, second only to Idaho’s 1.8%.

    Just think of what that means for the number of electoral votes in states like Illinois and New York, come 2032.
